I'm making a list of predictions for many of the characters and for Grace I think Madwoman Moh will die before…
Hmmmm, haven't paid too much attention but predict he saves Da-hye from the bad guys and they live happily ever after. He is a fun, oddball character but my gosh, I was hoping he would grow a brain, but perhaps finding courage is the true mark of a hero. So, prediction: Hero, happy life with Da-hye and more kids.
As I type this, we are approximately 2.5 days (~60 hours) from discovering/learning the entire story and final end. 😊
I feel like I am watching a soap opera 🤣 this is bringing me back to when the grandma next door would babysit…
I hate to admit it, but the numerous cliffhangers of kisses/divorce ultimatums/kisses/Eun-snake - this IS a soap opera.
I like the romance, but I love the dual family dynamics and corporate/family battles (which Hyun-woo will win, of course). In a soap opera, the villains always rise again. In this drama, Madwoman Moh and her son Eun-snake are toast. Perhaps literally in the case of Moh (I can't help but envision her torching the home and burning up [toast]) and figuratively (Eun-seong) who will die at Hyun-woo's hand. Hopefully with a sniper kill shot because I have been wanting that ever since Episode 2. 😊
Anyone knows when is the next pre-release? I think we still have 1 - 2 more pre-release??
It usually drops around 8:00 am KST (use a time zone converter to determine the time for your location). It's Thursday, Saturday and sometimes Sunday morning in KOREA. It's 4:00 pm in my time zone - the day before, lol.
Example: 8:00 am thursday morning is 4:00 wednesday afternoon for me.
I hate Ep 9, 10, 11 for playing with me. The eps are funny but next min I seeing tears. I loved ep 11&12 for answering…
I'm making a list of predictions for many of the characters and for Grace I think Madwoman Moh will die before she releases the money in Grace's account. 🤣🤣
Only ep 14 ending was a little annoying though But ep 11-12( 13 maybe) was good
Perhaps that whole discussion between HW and ES with rifles pointed at each other - discussing "territory"???😊 I've been thinking that even though they will have one final physical battle, that Hyun Woo, much to my disappointment, wouldn't kill ES - they would just haul him off to jail.
But in Episode 14 when ES tells his Mad mother that nothing will stop him from pursuing Hae-in "until I die", Oh yea, he dies. 🤣🤣🤣
The fact that Hae In still went and visited Hyun Woo in jail despite being told that HW is a cheater, stalker,…
I think the article is pure speculation (they really have no idea of what is happening), but QoT usually ends at 11:00 pm (KST) and if they are beginning 10 minutes earlier, that's a good sign. In a couple of days, tvN will update their schedule for Saturday, so we will be able to confirm.
totally agree about the timing of the memory loss; if it's total memory loss, should have been a couple of episodes earlier. It will work if resolved early in Ep 15, but extending it to Ep. 16 will be too much.
Really looking forward to Eunseong totally screwing up his "plan" when he tries to replace/mimic Hyun-woo.
Preview eng subI hope they keep her smart and not take 1 person's account Also....he's 1 person and she got her…
There is ZERO doubt in my mind that Eun Seong will "push the boundaries" , try to replicate Hyon-woo and Hae-in will be smart enough (cynical enough) to at least keep her powder dry.
I really, truly don't like the "total memory loss" angle and somewhat hopeful that it's partial memory loss and that her subliminal memories will help her sort through truth and lies.
After that ugliest, cruelest pre-release, I need an antidote. So, refresher regarding memories that are NOT associated with the hippocampus:
"Between the emotional memories, implicit memories and subconscious memories stored here and there within her brain, she will remember those that loved her. And those she loved."
I think (hope) that Eun Seong will read her notebook and believe that he can try to replicate some of her memories with Hyun-woo. BAD mistake - I think he will overplay his hand. Anyway, what subliminal memories might help Hae-in remember the people who loved her and the people she loved???
* The number "1031" - she has punched that number on her cell phone every single day - repeatedly. It's an implicit memory. * The hair dryer? did she write in her notebook how happy she was when he was drying her hair. And then Eun-Snake tries it - but it's not the same? * Her so-called favorite wine? - that might bring up a revolting emotion. * The smell of lavender?
Definitely one of the cruelest pre-releases.😥😥😥 I hope this is a very early scene and I hope other scenes from the teaser/preview (such as Hyun-woo in court wearing his lawyer pin0 will not be held over to Ep. 16.
Does anyone know why exactly Seul-hee and Eun sung tried to take over Queen's in the first place? the diaologue…
They have very, very different agendas.
Mom has been plotting for "thirty" years to take away all the Queens empire/chaebol life (not just the business) from the family. We don't know why she chose the Hong family, but she says it's how she demonstrates her love for her son.
However, his only goal was to control Queens Group (the corporate business). The reason Eun Seong wanted to control Queens Group was to be close to Hae-in and/or control Hae-in. All he cares about is Hae-in - he doesn't care about the house or any other assets. He didn't want the family kicked out "yet".
Ultimately, they will destroy each other - it's now just a matter of which one will be destroyed first.
I hope the writers dare to let hae-in die at the end. That's how the story should end.
Kim Soo Hyun said that QoT was "part fantasy, part romance, part thriller", but I don't think your specific wish for Hae-in fits into that description. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
For weeks, many said "I don't care how they do it, but Hae-in must live".Now she's going to live and now it's…
Glad to be helpful. 😊 After Episode 2 (specifically, when Hyun-woo killed the boar - what an epic moment that was😎😍😎), I knew that I was hooked for the long haul and I pulled out my kdrama notebook and began to take notes. I have pages and pages of notes on each episode - the flashback scenes, the Epilogues, dialogue that seemed meaningless but might be foreshadowing. I still believe Uncle Beom seok is the key to whatever happened years ago with Mad Moh (and possibly her son). because I am certain that he was there when the dog attacked Hae-in. If THAT ever shows up on Tik-tok/Twitter than I know they are reading MDL. 😊
Except for a handful of issues with the time line (dates in May/June), I don't understand why people think there are plot holes.
Well said!!! There’s a saying that you can’t please all the people all the time. With QoT this is very true!I…
I have a different saying. If everyone felt the same way or watched a drama - any drama - with the exact same "vision/filter", it would be a very, very boring world. I mean, who wants to think exactly like everyone else????
I think her first reaction was that he was reassuring her that he would be there to greet her when she passed.…
I am fascinated by your take (symbolizing that she will forget him) - which is different than mine (he will not be there to greet her because she will live) - but no less valid. As I have learned from your posts - so many different interpretations with the flashbacks, the Epilogues, the "visions" and all of them relatable to the various viewers.
Hae-in prayed “Please let me cherish these memories [of loving others and being loved] until my last breath.” Hyun-woo’s prayers were answered and I’m sure writer-nim will do the same for Hae-in. Otherwise, that scene with her writing her prayer would be meaningless. I did the research so that you don’t have to. You are welcome.
A. Explicit Memory 1. Hippocampus: helps us remember facts, events, and experiences (long-term/short-term). 2. Cerebellum: procedural memories (bike-riding) 3. Amygdala: regulates fear and emotional memories 4. Neocortex: language; general knowledge (example: knowing that coffee provides an energy boost). IMPORTANT: the brain’s ability to recognize faces is a function of many parts. That’s why it’s easier to recall faces than names. I guess this helps explain why Eun-seong is making the effort to resemble Hyun-woo B. Implicit Memory: skills and habits without conscious effort (Example: Hae-in stroking her ring finger) C. Subconscious: acts as a “storage” bank for memories, experiences, general thoughts and associations, emotional responses, sensory (example: perfume) triggering a memory or emotional response Between the emotional memories, implicit memories and subconscious memories stored here and there within her brain, she will remember those that loved her. And those she loved. I would like more explicit memory recall (events, dates, etc) but writer has different ideas. 😊

Well, I never bashed - I've enjoyed it all and I've caught a lot of hints and foreshadowing from the early episodes. There's been a lively dialogue in the "prediction" topic forum - maybe the Tik-toker's are reading MDL? 😊😊

One thing to know about the tvn schedule - the first 10 minutes are commercials because Korea bans commercials in the middle of a television show.
