This is a repost of mine from several days ago regarding memory loss. I think it was clear in Ep. 14 that Hae-in would suffer pretty severe memory loss of specific events, facts, dates, names (damage to the hippocampus). But don’t forget her prayer: “Please let me cherish these memories [of loving others and being loved] until my last breath.” Hyun-woo’s prayers were answered and I’m sure writer-nim will do the same for Hae-in.

Repost: MEMORY LOSS
A. Explicit Memory
1. Hippocampus: helps us remember facts, events, and experiences (long-term/short-term).
2. Cerebellum: procedural memories (bike-riding)
3. Amygdala: regulates fear and emotional memories
4. Neocortex: language; general knowledge (example: knowing that coffee provides an energy boost).
IMPORTANT: the brain’s ability to recognize faces is a function of many parts. That’s why it’s easier to recall faces than names. I guess this helps explain why Eun-seong is making the effort to resemble Hyun-woo
B. Implicit Memory: skills and habits without conscious effort (Example: Hae-in stroking her ring finger)
C. Subconscious: acts as a “storage” bank for memories, experiences, general thoughts and associations, emotional responses, sensory (example: perfume) triggering a memory or emotional response.

THEREFOR: Between the emotional memories, implicit memories and subconscious memories stored here and there within her brain, she will remember those that loved her. And those she loved.
------------------------------------
Ep. 15: (trying to avoid spoilers): I think writer-nim is following the science of memory - Hae-in isn't "falling in love again". Rather, her sub-conscious, the triggers that SHE created before her surgery (that little brainiac💕😎), her physical response to both Eun-Snake and Hyun-woo. Whether it is God, fate, or a tiny little four leaf clover , her prayers are being answered.

From my observation, Park Ji Eun has the most promising first half in ALL her dramas and you actually think "Wow,…
I've never watched any of her prior dramas (and I will never watch CLOY because of the ending), but from the very beginning the writer has been foreshadowing just about everything that came to pass. Hyun-woo coming to Hae-in's rescue time and time again - I will be shocked if he doesn't rescue her in Episode 16 with an extended hand.

why is everyone hating on episode 15? was it that bad? im waiting to watch it later 😭
I loved it but then I don't think the writing is bad and I don't watch just for lovey-dovey scenes, so take that into consideration.

Damn, so am I the only who loved today's episode, the pacing was actually good to me? I already knew we were in…
Except for the prison scene, I loved the entire episode. 😊

Aren’t their houses connected in the basement? her family moved into their house, she is staying in adjacent…
All of the family members owned significant (2-5%) of stock in Queens Group, so that's why they were on the no-fly list.

Idk abt yall but I'm defenitly seated for the finale even tho Im sure its gonna make my blood boil! 😂
I thought Episode 15 was great - I was afraid they would stretch out Hae-in's memory loss into Episode 16. Hated the prison scene, but at least it served a purpose when she was able to read her notebook.

they only mentioned a few times in episode 13 or 14 when he was trying to take over his fathers position as CEO…
There's nothing secret about it - it's been shown several times that he is working with Hyun-woo to destroy Eun-seong.

BTW where the hell is HaeIn's other uncle(that got kicked out by her grandpa)? Like did they forget he exists.…
If you skipped all of the scenes involving the corporate battle then you missed the part about Uncle forming a company called "Ever H" (the "H" presumably for "Hong") = a company that was buying up shares of Queens Group as the stock price plummeted after Hae-in turned against Eun-seong at the press conference. He's been working with Hyun-woo all along - perhaps for years.

Eun-seong is the "General Partner" of the various major stockholders (some of which are shell companies) and they are unhappy that the stock is plummeting. Many of the Limited Partners want Uncle Beom-seok to take over as GP.

In the preview for Episode 16, there is a brief flashback to the time the Hong family visited the orphanage. I have been waiting and waiting for that flashback because I'm convinced Uncle Beom-seok was there (the man in glasses who rushed to Hae-in when she fell) and somehow we will learn about why Moh sent her son off to the United States a few months later.

Haha 😂 Knetzs are so done with Eunsung
Which ratings? They broke all tvN ratings. They broke CLOY ratings for Episode 14.

It will be hard to beat the current top 2: (i)"World of the Married" (something I've never heard of but I guess it is ultimate King Kong/Godzilla ratings King) and (2)" Reborn Rich'

If I am wrong, don't kill me, but according to the tvN schedule for Sunday, Episode 16 will be 1 hour, 40 minutes.

Episode 15 is 1 hour 30 minutes.

The first 10 minutes are always commercials so it's possible (but unlikely) that tvN will make viewers suffer through more than 10 minutes of commercials in the beginning.

In terms of Netflix release: it's usually 30 minutes after the drama ends.

So, Saturday, drama ends at 10:50 (KST)

Sunday, drama ends at 11:00 pm (KST).

One final weekend of me getting up at the crack of dawn to watch when Netflix releases. And it is worth every minute!

Stalker Hae-In? It's giving pre dating era again but It looks like everyone is not trying to tell her about her…
She is definitely back to classic Hae-in. Cool, business-like, taking notes on "this guy", and rationalizing why it's okay to be curious about him - to see if he does anything "strange" [or "weird"]" again.

She's with her secretary...she didn't tell her anything? https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6PhTqjSiSn/?igsh=MWJ0M3B4NWVhd2J5NA==
I posted the dub version above.

She's taking notes on him. Notes that he has a sweet family relationship. does he like tofu - or not - she likes it, does he hate it? 😊

at the end, each one of them repeats the same phrase to their family/Na - but I couldn't catch it.

She's not stalking - she's just try to follow and see if he does anything weird again.

After yesterday's awful pre-release, at least they are giving viewers hope that hyun-woo won't be stuck in prison very long.

The SML screen time in episode 14 irked so many people. Hope they listen to viewers’ reaction and cut some of…
Well, if he's threatening Hae-in's life, then a sniper shot to the eye would be right down Hyun-woo's lane.

I will be shocked if we don't see some sort of physical battle between the two - it was foreshadowed in Episode 2 when they were pointing their rifles at each other - and then again, when ES pointed at HW in Episode 3 and said - with a smile - "Oh, I almost shot you again".

Once we found out he killed a man (not just a dog), he was past redemption. Eun-seong said that he won't stop pursuing Hae-in until he dies - and Hyun-woo is the man to put ES out of his misery. 😊

Eun seong should be glad I'm not there because i would slap him to death if it were me like this mf is so annoying…
Please don't - the honor of killing Eun Seong belongs to Hyun-woo. 😊

Hey, i really wanna know , is there any love triangle between ML - FL and any SML / guys ? i really hate when…
The SML is a sociopath - but the FL makes it clear that she has no interest in him. There is no triangle in the classic sense of the FL going back and forth between two guys. He's really rotten and if writers do it right, he will be dead by the end of the drama.

It’s different for each person, i personally think it should not be that high but from the rating it seems most…
If you don't find the end of episode 2 to be absolutely epic, then you might not enjoy the drama but that' when I was hooked. 😊

So many posts and theories that point to HW dying in the end ... I don't know , eg: Youth of may ending was hard…
No way. He promised to always be by her side. What are people thinking???

I'm a bit worried about Hae-in's vision of the elderly man bringing flowers to a grave - when she was on her honeymoon. But, if it's a harbinger of the future, it is decades in the future - and HE is the one alive.
