well, dang - I predicted she (and Eun seong) would die, so I have to take the prediction hit, but life in prison is almost nearly as good for the Mad Bitch. ๐Ÿ˜Š Thanks for answering.

I try to avoid spoilers on current on-going dramas (for instance, I get up REALLY early Saturday/Sunday to watch a drama releasing on Netflix so that I can watch w/out any preconceptions) , but I don't mind them on dramas that aired long ago because I try to manage the limited time I have for watching entertainment. I know nothing about the webtoon, so the drama will stand on its own. Would love spoilers and perhaps messaging me might be the best way. As I said, time travel is not favorite genre, but i DO love me the corporate/chaebol stuff. Thanks for the offer.

How long were DH and Grace in jail? A couple years? DH & SC baby was riding a tricycle when she got out of jail.
I wish they had provided a time-line as they did previously on many occasions. So. . . .my totally unscientific analysis says. . .1 year. The trials were in winter and it appears they were released in the winter. Probably due to the filming schedule (which ended in February (???) 2024). Baby was identified as "one year old" in June 2023 and trial sixish months later? so. . . riding a tricycle . . .. . .eh, looking at family photos, etc. etc I don't think it matters. Da Hye and Grace helped bring the villains down, were NOT given a tropey "all is forgiven" plot, they served their time, their last scenes were positive and happy. I never understand how kdramas seem to assume that a spouse/child can never, ever visit the other spouse while they are in prison but cannot worry about minor/tiny details when most of the drama did a fantastic job of continuity.

I hope you are enjoying this drama @mjcsfla1๐Ÿ˜Š

why does that car ride of hyun woo and his lawyer friend remind me of Saeroyi from itaewon class when he was on…
Attorney Yang-gi, just one of many secondary characters that represented different virtues - in his case, loyalty, fellowship, humor, intelligence and courage.

I kinda thought she actually died in that last moment so thank you for telling me that she was still alive and will live a very miserable existence in prison. I'm going to re-watch in slow motion. ๐Ÿคฃ

He kept his promise to her (to be by her side forever); she kept her promise to him (to be there and greet him when it was his time) THE WINTER OF HIS LIFE IF YOU ALL CANNOT FIGURE OUT THE SYMBOLISM!

I actually liked the ending. I can't remember the exact scene or episode, but hae in tought she saw an old man…
And, on top of that, she was in heaven - waiting for him. Just like she promised.

He was by her side to the end - just like HE promised.

For the life of me, I do not understand why people are upset. But - we all have our separate filters in how we view a story.

I want to start watching, can someone tell me if it's happy or sad ending?
Opinions vary, but I consider it the happiest of all possible happy endings and definitely, positively NOT a sad ending.

I never watched Reborn Rich because I'm not a fan of time travel/revenge stories (I barely made it through Please Marry My Husband). But perhaps I should take a look at the reviews here on mdl and consider it. I do believe the older actor received a Baeksang award, correct? (best actor)

Ummm, no - Reborn Rich was higher in terms of ratings (audience share). But in terms of total viewers, I guess QoT is 2nd????

There is a difference, but I don't understand it. And I wonder if the total viewership #'s include all of the repeats during the week?

Perhaps PrinceHenry30 knows??๐Ÿ˜Š

In terms of viewership in millions, QOT is the second highest viewed cable drama of all time with 6.399 million…
Sky Castle had 20 episodes - so that might explain the higher viewership numbers.

I have a question about Mad Moh's fate see question below:
I fast-forwarded through that part because I was afraid she might harm someone/kill someone and actually break out of prison! So, how exactly did she die? Depending on your answer, I will rewatch - perhaps even in slow motion, lol. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Alchemy of Souls 40k+
AoS had 20 episodes.

And about 10% of them were 'Hello, just two hours to go"/reply"I'm here"/Reply "wonderful!"/Reply; "It's AoS day"/Reply:"Happy Day". and on. . and on. . and. . . .

There was a tiny bit of that with QoT, but most of the comments here were Comment-Comments - as in thoughts, criticism, praise.

He did too. In fact, except for the children, most of the characters died in the end. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

They lived a long and happy life together and he stood by her side forever as he promised and that makes you sad? I found it uplifting. Different reactions, I guess. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Was it a coincidence or foreshadow when Hae In saw an old man visiting his wifeโ€™s grave while Hyun woo didnโ€™t…
It was on their honeymoon and it was definitely foreshadowing. Up to that point, I was convinced that QoT would have a happy ending, but that one scene gave me pause - was it foreshadowing that Hae-in would die an early death and Hyun-woo would visit every year until he died??

Of course, the real puzzler is why is she buried in Germany - far from family.
