For someone who's so untrusting, I can't believe CXZ isn't suspicious enough. What LMT said when they went to Mount Yang was so obvious. She literally said "Don't tell me what you're about to say." It's so obvious that she knows.
I can't wait for the time they'll confront each other.
I agree with Baili Dongjun. I blame Wen Jun too. She should have never left in the first place. Even if she did get captured (it was her fault), she could have escaped sooner.
I never really liked the emperor in TBOY. More so in the prequel, knowing what he did to his brother, Prince Langya, plus his offences towards Ye Dingzhi, I just dislike him even more. Couldn't even hold a sword to defend himself. smh.
I thought they were going to go for a "I had to leave you bc I was dying" kind of excuse for the ex-bf. I'm glad they didn't bc now I can just freely dislike him.
As someone who has only seen TBOY and none of the animated versions, I find myself getting confused as to why things happen sometimes. I don't know if it's because of the bad subs or they're just not explaining it well.
For example, I initially did not understand why Tian Wai Tian needed an innate martial artist. I only found out when I was reading comments that they needed one bc an innate martial artist can practice some some sort of powerful magical arts (which i forgot the name of). I don't know if that was mentioned in the drama and I just missed it.
Another is the interest of the emperor on Baili Dongjun. He even wanted to kill his Master. I don't understand why? Is Baili Dongjun a threat or something?
I don't really like how they changed CX's character from the novel.
Him having a hand in the killing of Tushan Jing was literally the turning point of his character arc. That was how he was going to lose Xiaoyao forever. That was also probably why Xiaoyao disappears in the end (hinting at the idea of never returning) Changing it doesn't make any sense narratively. His actions were leading up to killing Tushang Jing.
If Yan Nan Xing just told Jiang Xin Bai that she was kidnapped and she was looking for the guy she was kidnapped with, this plot line will end in one episode.
She said she can't remember anything, but she was talking about the pattern of the boots she saw when they took the guy a few days ago. She could have told that to JXB. Instead, she says she doesn't remember anything. I hate it when they dumb down things for the "plot"
I saw the preview and I hope they don't prolong it.

Once they forcefully take them, what do they do next?

It's probably due to censorship but ugh
