Better being lame than useless. I like that he has a role in the plot, if he wasn't doing this what would he be…
Since when is the only alternative to moping "destabilizing a country for a crush"?
The way his character is going now makes him look like an incompetent politician. Honestly, also pathetic because what do you mean you're teaming up with the people who almost killed your crush? Even if she wasn't the direct target, any rational person would step back. I just don’t get his motivations at all. He wants the girl, yet he's actively sabotaging his chances (while also possibly jeopardizing his career).
This sudden insanity makes him feel like a hollow plot device rather than a real villain imo. I'm just not a fan of how he’s being used to force the drama.
The prime minister is really out here dividing the country just to make sure Seong Huiju divorce the grand prince??
"I'm so tired of cleaning up the royals' messes." You helped create the mess sir??? 🫵
He's really out there putting his career on the line for a girl he had an opportunity to confess to for 10 years. He's not even sure she's going to fall for him. I do not get him at all. It's infuriating how his character is written. Being a villain is fine but the motivations and his irrational impulses make him less of a strategist and more of a desperate suitor (who has never confessed to the girl btw) with too much power. Lame!!!
This drama is so good. It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited about a show.
Everything has been great so far: the acting, the script, the directing. I honestly can’t sing enough praises for the director. Every shot feels deliberate. The slow motion, the color grading, the focus.
That’s what makes this drama so compelling. The direction pulls you in so completely that, as a viewer, you don’t just watch the story, you feel immersed in it.
Ji Bo Zai being a hypocrite. He told Ming Yi that it's easy to be honest, but he can't even do it himself? Why won't he tell Ming Yi yet that he was the one who saved her?

I don't want Situ Ling to get that credit
I feel like the road was even big enough for him to swerve the car if he wasn't up for killing another person.
