LOL I dunno how I feel about this...it's like the plot is disorganized...was looking for smth light but still...The scene with the boar & trunk was ridiculous but a bit funny...the scene near Han river with the drowning was just weird...o.O I don't understand the purpose of the male nurse either.
I understand the negative comments after just 2 ep...I am not sure if I'll continue with this one...
I can see why ppl compare this to goblin, the story is a bit similiar (God & his loyal servant). Tbh I don't…
Agreed. Most of the time they want good looking before good acting, because the target audience wants it so...others are left confused & disappointed with the choice. lol
I realize I don't understand Prince Yu's birth story. Was he the son of Hua princess or not? Did she lie for revenge or did the emperor lie to keep his secret?
Ah guys can someone tell me if this has a happy ending?? thanks!
No it's not a happy ending. It's a satisfactory one but not a happy one, I would say bitter sweet. One major thing everyone wanted, including the hero, they could never get.But the beautiful thing is that your impression on the ending might be identical or opposite to mine, that's how powerful this drama is
This little drama is hilarious. The lead girl is a bit crazy and I love it. lol
I don't like love triangles that much, but I really enjoyed the love pentagone here...it was so funny, and I'm satisfied with the main pairing. In all very light and fun watch.
Er ge's story with Yi An was the only good one imo. lol
Little sister was just ...ugh...so childish with Da ge, and San ge with the sassy secretary was too cliché. But overall it's really a nice drama. Like the slice of life style.
Does the male lead redeem himself ? First episode and I already want him to be run over by a truck lol.
Hope this is not another Stockholm syndrome romance.
Second time trying, I just can't get into this drama! First episodes awesome but then it just drops, can't get past episode 12.. I can't even understand why I can't like it more, so many people enjoy it, besides I like Ding Mo and the drama is of good quality but I'm so unsatisfied...like I'm expecting more.excitement but nothing happens. -_-
I'll wait some time again and give it a last try.
NO NO NO all her life it's never reciprocated. No love expressed, no relationship. You depict a story of two people in love that can't be together. It's absolutely not this simple. The core of the story is how he stubbornly refused to reciprocate because of his principles, and how she stubbornly refused to let go because of her devotion and pure heart.
It was not just because he was her teacher it was first because of his commitment to protect the realms and lead Chang Liu sect. He did have feelings but blocked them until the end. He never broke hundreds of rules for her, rather hurt her because of hundreds of rules...the poor girl had her body totally ruined because of him. He had her tortured many times to respect the rules.
It's a story about choices and stubbornness not just forbidden relationship. He still abandoned the realms after she died, while he refused to do it during her life. She still let him go before she died while she refused to do it all her life. All male lead treated her nicely except for Bai Zi Hua.He hurt her the most and was the cruelest. That's why she cursed him in the end to become immortal so he can never join her in death. It's her obsession with him that ruined her life. She loved him and chose never to let him go, but he refused to clearly love her back even if he had feelings, always chose to hurt and not reciprocate . He says it himself in the end, he did not disappoint anybody or anything, except for her and it was his mistake.
But you're right he did not erase her memory I got confused sorry. It's that he did not give it back to her, it's the other guy who did. He did not even bring her back, it's other people who did as well. lol
I really think they had cursed fate, it was not a love story. It was a story of her obsession and his denial. She suffered so much because of that guy, and it was not even to protect her but for the sake of others. I respect his principles and cultivation, I like no nonsense people who don't make up excuses to justify BS...that's why I love Bai Qian and novel Wei Young hi hi hi....but I don't like him as HQG's love interest because he does not deserve her love and devotion, and everything is more important to him than her. He does not love her as much either. He's too selfish, doesn't want to let her go but doesn't want to give her happiness either.
Jie Jie was the best choice for her. :))), or at least Dong Fang Yu Qing.
No, it's not a story of shared and willing love. That's what I mean. In a way it's one sided because he refuses to accept and show his feelings until she dies. Only after she dies and he is blamed, does he decide to accept his feelings...and that's like the last episode. And even after when they bring her back he erases her memories first to steal her right to chose, because she had finally decided to let him go and not forgive him for hurting her so much. Story is really different than Eternal love.
HQG was the only one loving and acknowledging it throughout her whole life. It's not really mutual if one party simply refuses to accept the other person and the feeling.
I was just scrolling down the page and I've got to say, I'm surprised by the lack of any negative comments.…
No drama pleases everybody and this one is still recent. Don't worry...the antagonists wave will come as usual. Some people get annoyed when a drama seems too popular and they vote it down or comment negatively to balance. As long as you remember it's always personal opinion, you won't miss out. I always have a look at dramas with lots of good comments. This one I tried because of this and I was really REALLY pleasantly surprised. I'm a bit tired of romance dramas that are like 85% of dramaland lol so it's hard for me to find smth that catches my eyes since everything is a deja vu..but this one is different. The lead girl is strong and no nonsense, the lead guy is...well lets say his devotion is out of mortal world lol...extremely beautiful settings, sceneries and landscapes, nice costumes, good production quality, good acting, nice ost...really...a winner.
Bad point is after a drama like that you suffer a slump...nothing is good enough.
Last time I felt like that was with Nirvana in Fire.
