I am so happy with this Female Lead. She is always calm and composed without being boring or being unflexible. How often do we get to see such a stoic female *lead* character? Very pleased
Thanks for this, I will need to check out Skip Beat and Demon Girl. I am afraid of the later because people said the ending is too heart breaking (?)
If you are into some complicated (male) villains you might want to check out 'The Journey (2017)' with Ma Ke. I was stunned in the last few episodes. Some plot twists I haven't seen comming. Also a good villain with story
What I enjoyed a lot in the first 10 episodes was how the two male love interests interacted with each other. Very respectful and kind. Even thought they knew the other was also interested in the Female Lead, they thus knew their goal was the same and worked together. In EP10 Chi Yu even admitted that he admired Shang Guan, he might not like him but he is impressed with him. I would love to see a love triangle like that more often. Up until EP10, they took out the word "rival" out of "love rival".
Watching the first few episodes, if it weren't for June Wu spoilered here on mydramalist as a supporting role, I really would have been fooled and thought he would be the guy to end up with the Female Lead! Really like a "plot twist" like that XD
Probably the worst Male lead I have ever seen. Definitely gonna drop this. Sad because the female lead is pretty…
That is so funny to me because the Male Lead in this drama is portrayed as being a "typical Female Lead" of the usual romance dramas we are watching. I was just complaining on another C Drama (The Demon Master) on how I fail to see any redeeming quality in the Female Lead of that drama. She has nothing to offer while he is the sweetest baby, just the very best. So I ended up dropping that drama. It is just hard for me to watch romance when I don't get why they even like each other.
Now you are complaining here about how he is utter trash. It's too funny. I guess they managed perfectly to switch the roles of the two Leads XD
It really is way better, especially thouse weird 'before OP scenes' are missing.
In a more logical order. Originally the before OP scenes where cut out of the episode and put into the beginning to ... I guess to make it more interesting? But in the end it made it all just super confusing. I could have lived with it if they didn't cut them out of the episode but instead just played them twice so that way you at least knew where they belonged to.
This drama makes me question, can a spoiled FL/ML be a strong FL/ML? She does fight hard and stuff but then she is all annoying about her father finding new love (even thought I also don't like his new flame)
I am just one episode deep into this and am wondering how Nai (James) can stand the abuse! He is the cutest baby (personality and looks that is), I would love a brother like that to death. Just like Noks parents do.

They are walking around and collecting handsome boys for her protection XD

(feeling super weird for replying to a 2y old post but I had to thank you)
