This was actually why I kept watching the show. You rarely have this kind of set up. You are rooting for the one guy all this time only to find out that it's the other XD
I wish the FL would also realise this as soon as we did, but she is still playing her 'game' the wrong way, chasing the wrong goal XD

That is funny cause only when he let his hair down I was suddenly struck by lighting "WAIT, that is the actor from 'devil master do not kiss me'. Up to this date I have no idea why only then I was able to recognise him XD

I agree entirely with @ani411 . When I started to watch this or even read the summary I was not ever under the impression of getting another epic drama. This is supposed to be light, just the almost none existence plot is prove. It's just a fluffy drama to watch.
I do understand however that you are actually craving a drama like Bloody Romance with a villain such as Gong Zi (because so am I) but how often can we demand quality contend like that? ^^**
I guess with this one you are just supposed to have some fun and watch a lot of BTS which just adds even more fun to the series. Overall a light and nice drama

I think I understand why you know a lot of people who claim that it is BL whilest others would say it is Bromance.
I think it is BL, but not in the sense of having phisical contact, wanting to be in a relasionship or even marry like in other BLs. However there is still *love* involved. To me (and I have only watched so far subbed episodes and not seen any novel/donghua etc) to me they are in love but there are more pressing matters to be addressed and thus (so far) we have not seen anyone persue anyone, even futher away from any kind of confession, etc. They might just be to busy to explorer their feelings ^^*

So true! I was just about to go and find those chapters but now I will hold back till it's all aired and while I try coping with the parting, I will read those chapters hehe

I am also watching on Viki. I am so glad they have the license and the subs are so quick! Even though they are always behind a few episodes, I still end up watching it multiple times on Viki. I did not know they are on Youtube as well. I will check it out and give all the vids a thumb up at least XD

How am I so happy with this drama only because they have not cut ALL the affection? To me it seems like they were able to push a lot of stuff through censor and it makes me so happy.

Even though Wangji might be the one thinking a lot and saying little, when it comes to the stuff that is left unsaid by Weiying, I break out in cold sweat. They both know how to shut up. It's just that you know Wangji is not speaking his mind whilest from Weiying you never know if there is stuff left unspoken. There might always be more behind his act.

Most of the times the two main leads just walk their own path but occasionally come together to beat some ass! It's super nice and not romantic or anthing. No chasing

I thought that is because there are actually 32 episodes out but viki is just slow (limited license) and thus other websites have more episodes, having "stolen" it under false VIP status. I am glad thought that VIP is so big in China.
For example on iQiyi when you are VIP (paid subsciption) then you get 10 episodes earlier! I am watching currently airing 'Love and Destiny' by iQiyi and the first week was insane. You were able to watch 20episodes!
Only one thing left to do now, learn Chinese!! 'Cause it's all raw *cry*

When the series is over (omfg I shouldnt even say that) and you have consumed everything and start feeling the dread inside, maybe give The Guardian a try. But only if you went through all the stages of grief and are ready to embrace something else again. I mean, this is actually a bad recommondation because you will just go from one love to another only to also lose that one in the end. I am sad now aaaaah

I have no idea but on the streaming websites I am watching this to be up to date (so no subs and no viki because viki is behind schedule) it is number one.
I do not know if this is only China though. Might be that more westerners are contributing to the statistics on that website.

He is now staring in Love Better Than immortality as the Main Lead. Maybe you would like to give it a try :D
