Currently at Ep 8, at this point, the only thing I very much like about Feud is the opening theme song by Bai Lu. Don't skip on the Opening Theme, it's catchy!
Not really a fan of simping main characters who disregard their pride for love. It does seem to be changing from ep 7 onwards after Qing Yue discovers more of Bai Jiu Si's past.
When Bai Jiu Si neglected Qing Yue's safety on several occasions (she was kidnapped and almost forced to marry someone else). I was like bruhhhh take care of your girl!
When Bai Jiu Si knocked and abuse Qing Yue several times including strangling her, I was like bruhh this is physical abuse?
When Qing Yue puckered her lips and was waiting for a kiss while Bai Jiu Si simply refused it, I was like bruhh you gay? What are you doing???
Question now would be is Qing Yue truly a separate entity from her past doppelganger (similar to Bai Lu's character in Moonlight Mystique, where both same face person are 2 different entities).
Now after some more backstory is revealed, I guess they are trying to make his actions understandable.

And I need to make a correction to your "correction" which is more to your opinions and cannot be taken as fact. Since the show is positioning the both of them as a couple for the first half of the show. You may choose to see them not as a couple, that's your opinion, but you don't have the right to "correct" other's opinions since these are all opinions and not facts.

The show is clearly depicting them as lovers, trying to twist around that makes your "correction" amusing. Watch the MV, Trailer, poster and the show, there's tons of romantic hints and scenes.
Also, sure Mo's mother and the FL may have "ex"es but in the show those relationships are only mentioned and only briefly depicted in flashbacks. To try to use this as your "correction" doesn't make this convincing either, since as stated, it is only briefly explored through short flashbacks and mentions, not sufficient to even seem romantic in anyway.
In terms of your attempt to romanticize the "manipulation", I've clearly stated and covered that in my previous post that the show itself is trying to romanticize manipulation. You may choose to see it as a form of romance giving false hope, but others would see it as manipulation.
There are many ways to give a character "false hope" in hopes they live on, but her "false hope" made the ML (Zhan Bai) nearly die several times FOR 8 YEARS. If you think this type of "false hope" is acceptable and romantic that's your call (again it's both appalling and amusing). But it sure is manipulative in my books. I'm pretty sure none of us would want to be on the receiving end of this type of life threatening "false hope" romance.

I wished I've never watched or known this show to begin with. I've watch other shows like Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Saber which that ML stars in, along with other equally attractive FL and that show had a way better plot than this one. Snowy Night Timeless Love, fooled me in the first half to believe this was a decent show, but in the 2nd half once it was clear of the FL's manipulative way around things, it was an instant turn off. The fact that they tried to romanticize this behavior is appalling.

This show has sweet moments. However, the script, directing and cuts makes it seem as though it was created by a bunch of freshly grad interns. Characters have sweet moments and chemistry but for every sweet moment, there's an extremely cringey lead up scene/reasoning to each of the sweet moment.
The male lead behaves like a 15 year old buffoon. He treats others excluding the FL (after falling in love with her) like crap. Just because the FL has some task to do with another male, the ML gets jealous thinking that the random male is attracted to the FL. This dude surely has not a single a friend with this type of social skills.
Villains in this show are actually the victim to the ML. The female antagonist got humiliated in public for trying to ask the ML out for dinner. That's the reason why she's trying to get back at the ML or at least, what the script is trying to imply.
ML kisses the FL while she was drunk (this is before they got into a relationship and were merely boss/assistant). If the FL didn't end up with the ML in the later episodes, this would've been considered a crime but this drama romanticized this. Now kids would think it's ok to kiss each other while the other is drunk or sleeping.
Watch this show only if you think either the ML or FL is an eye candy. For my instance, the FL is adorable at times.

Love triangles are quite annoying, so it's great that it lasts just a few episodes and doesn't consume the entire show. The same as in Moonlight Mystique where the yellow lily girl attempts to start a love triangle with Fan Yue and Bai Shuo, but luckily she immediately gets shut down by both of them haha!

The second couple does have a decent amount of screen time though nowhere near as Bai Shuo and Fan Yue (Main Couple). I wasn't really affected by the second couple or cared much about them (they were decent but the plot simply focused on the main couple more than any other characters), so whether it's a happy or sad ending for the 2nd couple doesn't really matter. Perhaps you wouldn't be as affected too. Just treat all other characters as pawns and you'll be fine :D At least, that's what the show is attempting to do.

It's slightly more entertaining than Journey To Love.
It's difficult to find a good show these days, especially those made in China. I've been dropping tons of them lately as the scripts were simply boring, filled with tons of dialogues with little action. Moonlight Mystique felt like a show I would've dropped during the first 3 episodes and I was close to dropping it, but close to the ending of ep3 with the ultimatum of Bai Shuo's father, and the show entering the main plot, it became watchable.
Time to find more shows with decent scripts and pacing/direction!
