You're welcome. Season 2 is pretty much 3 shows (happening mostly after season 1) stitched together and each part can be watched as standalone (but they are happening in the same universe and are loosely connected) Season 1 was one show with both pairs having their stories together intersecting with each other (North/Johan took a couple of episodes to start, but they kinda stole the show after that)
(copied from my comment on the S1 page since this page is probably more active )okay so i need someone to help…
Season 1 is chronologically first with Ter/Hill and North/Johan. Their stories are told alongside of each other. Season 2: Typhoon/Tonfah story starts during season 1 timeline wise, but it quickly progresses past it. Arthit/Daotok story is firmly after season 1 (and somewhat after Typhoon's story or during late parts of it). Tiger/Nao - no idea yet (might also start in late season 1, since they were teased there alongside Typhoon)
Kinda. It's 10 years timeskip and focus on the 2nd couple from Addicted
There are flashbacks to some of their scenes in Addicted and they talk about their shared past, but relationship itself is build as a new one. You don't even have to watch Addicted to get this drama
So I'm just boring for liking this. I thought it was a great show. lol am I shallow? ðŸ˜
Nah, it's just a flavor of enjoyable blandness. There is nothing particulary great about this show (and has some noticable flaws), but it is cute enough to watch it, turn your brain off and just vibe
That series is one of those, where everything works very well with each other and is very enjoyable... except the plot. The plot hinges on induced stupidity and characters not questioning things around them + it's very predictable. It's a bad sign, when supernatural show's story demands more suspension of disbelief than actual supernatural setting.
8/10 for acting, chemistry and overall experiece 6/10 for the plot
Because they do it in Thailand. Pretty much all of chinese BL dramas are made by chinese people but outside of China itself (to avoid censorship) - ABO desire for example was filmed mostly in Tawan and Hong Kong
There are exceptions (I believe Revenged Love was filmed near Shanghai), but there are nuances to that as well
people throwing out the term red flag like it's on sale. Saw some comments which stated FX is a black flag and…
I honestly dont understand why people here are bending backwards to somewhat make YSL into the toxic one. He didn't really do anything out of line at any point given the circumstances. I wonder if it's just because they want to headcanon toxic x toxic male leads or something.
Does Lu Zhen really call YSL uncle You or it's the subtitles? It creeps me out...
It may be just phrasing. Context is very important with certain chinese words. "Uncle/Aunt" can be used just for someone older that you respect - not strictly a family member.
