The plot is that the FL badly needs medication to heal her sister`s illness, in this case ML is the only one who has the medicine. So they have a transactional relationship, where he gives her medicine for sex, but he falls irrevocably for her. Unlike in the other version, he realized early on that he loves her and he pursued her. He is a lot ruthless towards his enemies as well, especially the girl he took care of who he cast aside as soon as he knew she was a scheming liar.
I just finished Seal of Fire due to the french kissing comments, LOL. I always knew Lanbo is a fantastic kisser on-screen and this drama took it to a whole new level, wowza sexyyyy!
The story itself was so very well done with no unnecesary misunderstandings. Their past life was so sad, i shed several tears in the tragedy that betook them, how toxic they were for each other. In the second life she lavishes all her love on him, which surprises him to the core...but alas he could not resist her since he has loved her since he was a child. Beautiful, heartwrenching, passionate and sexy love-story! What i crave in romance!!

Thailand have two versions made of Hua Jai Sila. One from 2007 and the newest from 2019. But people compare this one mostly to Tor`s version from 2019. 2019 is way better written, although darker and more toxic, both Males are extremely tortured since they were heavily abused in their childhoods. Thai version does extremely well in showing how complex the character of Sila is. Way better written with better written characters.
But this remake with Dai Gao has its own charm as well, its more romantic as well.
