I loved the tidbits of lines about relationships and love from both Klaokla`s & SaiKim`s point of view in every episode. It was narrated down to fit the situation in hand for every episode. Bad Romeo is also definitely heavily inspired by Judith McNaught`s romance novel "Paradise". I mean, the plot was so chronical to the novel in almost every way. And what a epic love-story this was. It was dark, painful, passionate and gripping. It hurt so good.
I never wanted this to end. So many smiles, tears and laughter i shared with these characters that were to die for, especially Klaokla & Saikim. Their unstoppable love...always growing. I felt so bad for them, my heart hurt so much when they tried to hurt each other. This was such a epic slap-kiss story, i just could not stop watching. Yaya & Mario did incredible job in this story, i am so amazed and in love with their passionate on-screen chemistry. Bad Romeo has become on of my favourite lakhorns to re-watch!
"Bad Romeo" is actually based on Judith McNaught`s novel "Paradise" where maincharacters names are Meredith & Matthew. This lakhorn follows the novel in the very same chronical order with the very same cast of characters from the novel, except for Kla`s horrible mother who didn`t exist in the novel. Also Meredith & Matthew were separated for 11 years in the novel whereas it is 7 years in Bad Romeo.
I am currently on ep16 of Bad Romeo and i love it so much. Yaya & Mario are incredible, they made my heart flutter many times. Great review!!
By the way i also agree with Khim`s friend Lita being unlikeable, aghhhhh she made my blood boil as well and the way she excused of lying to Khim by saying "it was for her best and that Kla wasn`t good enough for her" when she knew Kla was the guy she had married lived with and was pregnant by. She also saw how deeply upset Kla was by the letter when he got it...just AGHHHHHH I despise her. I was not surprised that Tan was her loveinterest since it happened in the novel as well. Lita is a much better friend in the novel and only ever confesses of her love after the engagement is over between Tan & Kim.
Oh thank god others saw the similarities in Paradise and Bad Romeo.. I personally feel the Lakorn had too many…
Hey! I totally love this comment section and i decided to binge watch Bad Romeo AS SOON AS I READ that it is inspired by Judith McNaught`s novel Paradise which is one of my favourite books of all time!
I have watched Game Rai Game Ruk (its one of my fave lakhorns ever) but Bad Rome IS SOOOO much more similar to Paradise and it follows the book in a very chronical order were many situations are the same. I clearly remember Meredith visiting Matthew in his garage to tell him of her pregnancy. Just so many similar dynamics, i am blown away by it!!
I am currently on ep6 of Bad Romeo and i am soooooo crazy about it!
Judith McNaught is one of my top 10 fave authors, i have read everything she has ever published.
Wow i would be so excited if this was a remake of Ngao Ruk Luang Jai (with Mark, Nadech and Mint) since i totally loved watching it back in my middle teenage years. This reminds me of how the later generation of actors are getting their lakhorns remade into new versions.
McNaught`s Paradise is one of my all time favourite books, just so glad to see that this lakhorn is alike it,…
I just finished ep4 and ahhhh they are so beautiful together!
Ah, Whitney My Love is a hardcore classic in its genre, i totally loved that one. I have re-read it several times!Do you have a account in Goodreads by the way?

I KNOW!!! I stared reading my first Judith novel when i was 14 years old, my first book by her was "Once and Always", ahhhhh love her stories so much. Paradise was angsty as heck!!
Now i am on ep 4 of Bad Romeo and I LOVE IT SO MUCH!
Can anyone tell me what the fck happened with Naih and Lee? Watched some clips, felt like there's some emotional…
Don`t worry. Lee never even emotionally cheats on Naih, he still loves her all the way. Its just that they are to different and will often clash with their different interests and opinions. At one point Naih becomes to demanding and puts pressure on Lee in which he backs away from her and tells her that at the time when they met their friends were falling in love (in season 1) and it felt perfect to fall in love with her as well. But they are to different and Lee felt that they may not fit together. So he breaks up with her (although hesitantly) and she full on agrees with a fake smile to keep her pride intact.
This was obviously painful for both of them, and they keep on missing each other. However Lee asks her if she will be his date for the Ball and she accepts. At the ball Lee asks her if they can be together again and see for themselves if a future is possible for them. Because despite their differences, he still loves her. Naih agrees into a long courtship between them, so they won`t fall apart again. This time with their eyes open, and not blinded by emotions/excitement. So they reunite and have their happy ending that way,
Uhmmm i have a question. So i'm always hesitating to watch this but since it was kind of similar to Bad Romeo…
Omg i have Bad Romeo on my to-watch list! So excited for that one! Game Rai Game Ruk has one scene where Saichon does force a kiss on Fah, planning to take her to bed. Fah does struggle against him, but a memory forms inside her head where he used to kiss her in the past (she has amnesia and does not actually remember that Saichon is her husband) so therefor she gives in to Saichon. It still count as rape since it wasn`t reciprocated in Fah`s mind.
She wakes up tremendiously shocked and hurt by this night.
someone pls tell me are any relationships/moments to toxic in this cuz i rlly feel like giving this a chance after…
Look, the male-lead in this one is a Anti-hero/villain who created his power through the fear of violence. He is the leader of F4. I am sorry to say that he is unable to handle emotions very well and can go violent, extreme and very self-destructive which leads to toxic situations in his relationship with the female lead. He is like this in ALL the versions by the way, one of the reasons he is very controversial.
But this is his journey of self-awareness, growth, love and redemption. It all started when his red card victim decides to declare war on him, threatening his whole bullying structure of control, fear and power. He hurt her, but his punishment was losing his own heart to her.
Totally agree with your review. I think it would have been better as a 12 episode show and pace it a lot faster.…
This one is a hit or miss type of lakhorn, but i did enjoy the romance between the main-leads,they had great chemistry. The writing got really bad after some time and it would have been sooo much better with just 12 ep.
Totally broke my heart.

I NEVER EVEN DARED TO DREAM OF THIS BEFORE MY SISTER TOLD ME OUT OF THE BLUE!!!
I saw a bit of the teaser and damn, this looks kinda dark. I AM SO READY!
