I love Ji Woon with all my heart! He is one of the best leading males ever in my opinion. Such a carefree soul who refused to let his father`s evilness touch him. I mean think about it, he saw with his own eyes how the man he have idolized as a good human being slayed a innocent girl in front of him. Its a traumatic experience that really takes a toll on him mentally.
With a great heart as his own, it eventually gets owned by the Female King Yeon Seon. I love that he breathe and live his love for her, unable to find any happiness elsewhere once she steals his heart. He is honest through his eyes, the devotion, desire, respect and love always shining whenever he looks at his female lead.
I am not a big fan of rom-com K-dramas, since the ONLY ones i really enjoyed are "Weightlifting Fairy" , "Business Proposal" and "Full House". I usually love watching the more melodramatic, angsty and intense plots of the early 2000s. This drama have been hyped up around me ever since forever it feels like and i finished the first episode and i am now at ep 2 and feel like i need to put this on-hold.
It is not bad, but its not that mindblowing and funny either. It may even be because i have also seen "Business Proposal" first that i am not too keen on this one, i don`t know.
im still confused about their ages... how old Mira? she seems to be out of hs and uni. If so why tf should we…
From what i remember from the manga she never even entered university. She was expected to take over the family business. I guess she must have been 2 or 3 years older than F4 members.
I wonder how did this drama do in Thailand? I personally think the rating should be higher.
According to some interviews from youtube channels it has done pretty well in Thailand. The music videos have also become popular and they even made music shows with Tre and Ferny.
One thing i want to mention (maybe you know it already) is that this version has a lot of symbolism in it. You will find some details in many scenes that highlights a bigger meaning to the moment.
The songs is a big example when you watch the music videos.SO MUCH SYMBOLISM IN IT. The song "shooting star" is a very symbolic one, for an example in ep 1 when Gorya kicks Thyme and then sits on him...thats where we hear the song for the first time.
The episode itslf is called "Footprint of a Meteor". Gorya even has a sign of a shooting star on her shoe, which she uses to kick Thyme. That is the Footprint of a Meteor, she inprints herself on Thyme...she is his shooting star.
I binge watched this drama for 3 days, I'm so glad I watched it. No boring moment indeed, the story was so so…
Omgggg hey arukilee! So glad you have seen this drama as well! I agree with everything you said! And the actor playing the evil cousin was SO DARN GOOD! He looks so beautiful, have such a irresistible on-screen presence!
Tre did a remarkable job as Time! Love love loveeee his character so much! Definition of a true Alpha Man!
Never expect realism in thai lakhorns. Especially a country that heavily romantisizes all the violent and criminal…
I don`t agree with that. Some of the latest lakhorns i have watched have all kissing. "The Love Proposal" was pretty much scandalous in my opinion because they also had steamy sex-scenes.

Its just so beautiful.

Beautiful yet tragic. Hye Yong loved the man who build the bridge for her.
You`re right, OST is awesome!

I hope you find more great dramas this year!
Other thai dramas i recommend you (non BL) are:
* "The Love Proposal" -if you want a angsty, romantic and sexy trainwreck.
* "Buang Hong" - about a anti-heroine who gets her redemption with the help of wonderful ML.
* "Game Sanaeha"- this one is amongst the more popular ones, it is soooo angsty and romantic.
* "The Crown Princess"- this lakhorn is about a princess that marries a soldier undercover, a heavenly slowburn...it has action mixed with romance.
* "My Forever Sunshine" -got extremely popular as well when it aired. One of my all time favourites.
ANNE & KEN ON-SCREEN AFTER ALL THIS YEARS!
The ultimate Koo-jin!!!!!!
