I didn’t like this version much (neither BOF) but it can easily be explained bc he's a compelling, flawed and…
Thyme is a entirely force on his own. Even at his worst you can`t help but get fascinated by him. I love how he doesn`t change overnight, but really developes in a realistic pace. We get to see him in his lowest point, we get to see him reflect and hate the person he is. He so badly wanted to change and he fought for that change.
The only reason Gorya even fell for Ren was because he was her savior. He was prince charming in her imagination.…
I am cool with your opinions, because it comes through your point of view although i don`t see it the same way. And you also critisize what you think is wrong in such a sensible and respectful way (many other viewers have been talking much negative crap here on mdl) so it is so refreshing to read your comments because i can understand why you think that way even if i disagree.
Do i think Ren is a better suitor? Aghhhh, it will always sting that he never did anything to stop Thyme`s red card game, being a bystander in bullying is the SAME as being the bully (which Gorya also calls him out on in ep 1) and even if he saved Gorya from sexual harassment, he did not lift one finger for her when Thyme cut her shoes in front of everyone. I love Ren, believe me, i do. But do i think him a better suitor? That is a discussion...but one thing that this show makes startingly clear is that Ren is not the perfect guy FOR Gorya. Ren is not what Gorya needs. Being with Ren would have no complications. He can cook, clean...he can do everything. His family would accept her without any problem. Gorya would never have to argue or fight with Ren. Because Ren will never challenge Gorya, he will be whatever she needs him to be.
He is calm soothing, flowing water- opposite to the aggressive, passionate fire Thyme brings. Thyme and Gorya even pushed, dragged, argued and bickered already in their first date. They challenge each other to be better. They inspire each other to be better. Thyme is messy, fun and unpredictable...utterly adorable and charming...traits that undenyably made Gorya attracted to him in the first place. He is the boy who waited in the rain for her. He is the boy who will always put her first in anything. She is the one for him. His heart won her over.
In ep 15 we see in the bridge scene that Gorya doesn`t want the dreamlike perfect future Ren brings to the table. She wants the messy incredible adventure she can have with Thyme. And it probably still is, these two probably still bicker like children until Thyme decides to shut Gorya`s mouth off with a passionate kiss.
Ah, i can only imagine. Their relationship was like this in the manga. Always messy, but always loving.
I really liked the chemistry between Gorya and Thyme. Bright and Tu are an amazing pair. However, Is it just me…
The only reason Gorya even fell for Ren was because he was her savior. He was prince charming in her imagination.
There is never a logical reason why you fall for someone. Even in real life i question my friend why she fell for her husband of 5 years. He was her bully back in high-school when she was new in town. The one thing she could answer me was: "I could not stop it. It just happened like it was meant to happen all along".
It is the same thing with Thyme & Gorya but more on the fairy tale scale. Their love is written in the stars. Always destined to meet, fight and fall in love.
Oh my god i just got to know from twitter that this show was originally just going to run for 13 episodes. GMMTV literally left the director and his team in the dark with this project, they had to spend their every energy in this project for the last 2 years. It was a hard battle for them since there were sooo many obstacles in their way also. The pandemic, the budget and so on....
I love this team, they managed it so well. It was worth it.
Another iconic scene. I love it as well so much! It was also the start of Thyme`s change and the whole F4. Thyme really thinks of cancelling the red card after this incident. It was so clear that even MJ and Kavin was tired of the red card game after so many years doing it.
I will rewatch surely when have time. I miss it too, I wish it can have a movie
So glad we feel the same! I do so badly hope we get a special something out of this story, maybe that takes place many years later. I want to see what Gorya & Thyme and rest of F3 are doing!
I miss this drama so i am re-watching and i am having soooo much fun!
It still astounds me how much Thyme respects Gorya`s feelings for Ren. He even tells her the child-hood story where he was the one who tore Ren`s toy apart. This scene breaks my heart because Thyme bares his soul to Gorya in this moment. Thyme`s way of telling Gorya that he knows is flawed and that Ren is the better person.
Thyme was so honest in his pursuit of Gorya, it makes me want to cry.

Does it ever make sense when it comes to love?

I however was NOT disappointed at the ending. The ending just blew my mind away. Excited to see what you will think.

By the way, i love the quote from MC: "This show tells you that it isn`t just about feeling love, its how you act on it".
