I dont normally rewatch shows but I just felt rewatching this. I consider this drama a guilty pleasure. It has all the tropes like arrogant ceo male lead, marriage contract, love-hate relationship etc. Things viewers would not rate high but still end up enjoying it. I would put this in the same category as what's wrong with secretary kim and business proposal. All adapted from webtoons which explains the cliches and tropes as the webtoon space is saturated with these lol. The story really was faithful to the title. The male lead is 99% a red flag but the female lead fell in love with the remaining 1%.

They did a good job casting the main actors. The male lead is very natural in acting arrogant and pushy (maybe that's just him in real life XD), and the female lead really fits the "nice teacher" vibe. They have a great chemistry together. I would recommend this to those looking for lighthearted cliche romcom with little to no melodrama.

You can talk if you're deaf if you have learned how to do it. Put on earphones on max, you can't hear yourself…
Some deaf people who lost their hearing later in life can actually talk close to normal. But it comes with practice. They talk a bit "throaty" but you can understand them clearly. I even know someone who can lip read also so sometimes people forget she is deaf.

Really sad we didnt get more scenes with the main couple, because of that it felt rushed. Hoping for an epilogue. Anyway, this is pretty much the only drama this season I religiously watched every week. It was boring at first but Seol In Ah really carried the show after the introduction of her bubbly character. ML is kinda awkward sometimes in his acting, but his chemistry with FL is really good. Overall, it was a good watch. I didnt care much about the plot tbh. I was watching it mostly for the main couple XD

Well they definitely prepped the ending for a second season. And seeing how well-received this drama was, the chance is definitely high!

Title My Lovely Liar Spoiler
Jo Deuk Chan was already my prime suspect from the start, simply because the writers were giving him too much characterization for a "supporting character". But I didnt guess that he was gay. You guys who guessed that deserves a medal lol. Anyway, with 2 episodes left, it's a bit early to conclude the main plot. Based on the preview, there seem to be more about Cho Eom Ji's death.

It was nice to finally know what happened in the past, but hopefully we go back in the present next episode.

Title My Lovely Liar Spoiler
Based on the next ep preview, it seems that they are implying Do Ha actually killed her but just cant remember. But such plot twist is usually revealed at the end of the series so I think we can rule out that he is the killer. Explicitly tackling the plot twist this early completely defeats the purpose of a plot twist shock value. It is heavily hinted though that the CEO has something to do with it. My theory is Do Ha's mother and Mr. CEO had something to do with the murder.

At this point I think the only twist that'd rock me of my feet is if Do-ha actually did kill her or smth like…
Well the chance is not zero considering there are actually dramas who took this route. Though almost never well-received.

Call me crazy, but what if ML's mum killed his ex? She could have considered her a hinderance to her son's success…
Deuk Chan also seem weird. Maybe he's guilty of something that's why he helped him Do Ha with his alibi. And it feels like the writers are giving him a significant characterization for a supporting character. Maybe it is a sign he will be a more important character in the future.

Concentrating on viewership … just take famous stars for views... however the script is not that good.. Kdramas…
Wdym, viewership have always been important in the entertainment industry. And it's not that kdramas these days are not that good, you've just watched more so you notice clichés easily. Kdrama tropes and clichés have been around from the beginning. Also, shows you've watched in your teenage years will always hit differently based on my experience. You wont get the same feeling again after watching so many dramas.
On When I Fly Towards You Jun 29, 2023
It's rare to find a show with little to no drama but not boring at all. Just pure fluffy teenage/young adult romance. And the fact that it's only 24 episodes means we dont need to suffer from the usual cdrama disease of getting draggy around ep 25 so it will reach 40 episodes.

Why do you assume she is the same person throughout her different lives when sometimes she is a man, sometimes…
The story revolves around the idea of reincarnation. The idea that everyone has a past life. The only unique thing about her is that she remembers all of her past lives. The body changed, but the soul remains the same. So yes, she is the same person.

Title See You in My 19th Life Spoiler
She was in love in her previous life with someone else, but why is she so obsessed with him? Besides that, she…
You are looking at this with the wrong perspective. I think the webtoon showed it better where she was a gloomy girl in her 18th life. But basically, since she has practically lived for a thousand years, experienced being both a man and a woman, falling in love multiple ties, and getting heartbroken countless times, she has a whole different view about life. Age is essentially just a number to her at this point. And she's implied to be pansexual, which seem natural for someone who has lived multiple lives. Her first memories were of a girl, so she's more like a woman who has experienced being a man rather than the other way around. But she views all people the same regardless of gender and age, to her everyone are just "humans." After multiple reincarnations, she's grown tired of living and just living life just for the sake of it. The boy simply made her remember the joys of life, hence why she made it her goal to meet him again in the 19th life.

It will be a little less weird to watch if you consider that everyone in the story also have past lives and have the similar experiences as her, they just cant remember it.

Title My Perfect Stranger Spoiler
Now we all know culprit is his father according to Teahouse lady/his mother. BUT Yoon Yeon Woo may not be his…
The problem with this theory is that ML's grandpa was already very old in the present time. He could not have overpowered ML and killed him in the future unless they end up time traveling to the future which is not impossible.
On My Perfect Stranger Jun 13, 2023
Title My Perfect Stranger Spoiler
Last time I said ML's father is likely the culprit, but this "culprit reveal" feels like a bait. Now it's looking like 50/50 between ML's father and Yu Sub. Yu sub's "Im so angry" line also seems like a bait. Im basically a veteran at murder mystery dramas at this point. I guessed who the real culprit is like 95% of the time. But this drama throws so many bait hints that we only have two episodes left and Im still not 100% sure who's the culprit XD

But wasn’t he senile in the future.
I thought that was his grandpa? In one flashback, when they were talking about his father's first date, he was completely fine.

It's 14th episode and I still don't know killer's motive. The matchboxes, the meaning behind notes. After this…
It's pretty common for murder mystery dramas for the culprit to be someone close. Usually the one who the viewers least expected. Although it is still possible the killer is Baek Yu Sub. His "Im so mad" line was so out of place that it's either a hint or the writers baiting us again.

What if that his mother was raped by someone - which is Hee Seon or Ko mi su? And there no way Yoon is culprit.…
She was definitely implying it was her boyfriend because he has access to her personal belongings. Although there is still room for more twists.
