So glad they wrapped up the main plot early in the last episode and gave us an "after story" like last minutes. Even with only 14 episodes, it didnt feel rushed and gave us a satisfying ending.
Initially, I was looking for a female culprit because of what Ko Mi Sook said in the first episode about "Females can also be brutal". But after seeing the culprit run in this episode and overpower Bum Ryung, it seems to be a man, unless it's just a male stunt double playing as a female.
The Tea House owner was my prime suspect before because so many scenes were filmed in the tea house, which means she knew most of the characters. And it's possible this is the reason she left after giving birth. But now, Im leaning more towards Hae Joon's father as the culprit. Maybe that's why he didnt report him to the police when he found the matchbox. Also, in the future, when Hae Jun was murdered, it's hard to imagine an almost 60 year old woman can beat him up, so maybe it is a man. It's also hinted Hae Jun's father created the time machine. Maybe he gifted it to him and see if he can stop him. Mi Sook was also with them in the cinema, which I initially thought she was following the tea house owner, but maybe it was Hae Jun's father. She was following him to see if he will commit another murder because of her plan to frame her brother. Hae Jun's grandfather probably also knew his son is a murderer that's why he didnt like Hae Jun. Probably also the reason Hae Jun's mother left him. There is also the foreshadowing of Hae Jun ceasing to exist. If he indeed catch the culprit and it is one of his parents, then he may not be born. But the main issue with this theory is that Hae Jun's father was at the airport in the morning when the bodies were discovered. This is just my main theory for now, I think we will see more clue next episode.
I also think Ko Mi Sook's mother is a suspect. It was implied she was an aspiring author, which gives us a motive why the killer only targeted women with books (except Hae Jun).
Does the romance seems a little bit forced only to me? I mean i get it was supposed to be a romance from the get…
Personally, I dont find it awkward since they didnt really show that they are madly in love with each other. Just kinda fond of each other, you know, like the initial stages of romance.
No, Ming Ye isn't Tan Tai Jin and Sang Jiu isn't Li Su Su (I'm going to use abbreviations after this because I'm…
If Ming Ye and Li Susu are different from our main characters then it makes more sense, maybe this makes more sense in the novel. I guess they just didnt want to cast new actors just to play as Ming Ye and Sang Jiu for a few episodes and probably also the reason why the devil god was wearing a mask 10000 years ago because it would be weird to see Ming Ye and the devil god having the same face. But one more thing I dont get is what was the point of Tantai Jin saying "they look so alike" [referring to Sang Jiu and Ye Xi Wu] was that a mistranslation? And in episode 1 Ye Xi Wu had a deja vu moment when she saw Tantai Jin kneeling in the snow. I still dont know how was that relevant in the story
Nope. YXW does not reincarnate to LSS. LSS transmigrated into YXW's body. After YXW's body died at the tower scene,…
Now Im more confused 😅 Didnt Li Su Su already transmigrated to Ye Xi Wu in episode 1? Or was it only her mind like possession type? Maybe I shouldnt ask more questions, Im gonna end up spoiling myself more haha
In ep 1, there was a scene where Xi Wu had a deja vu moment after seeing Tantai Jin kneeling. Did she actually saw that already? Is this going to be a time-loop related story? It seems Xi Wu got reincarnated as the immortal Li SuSu again. It's like they are stuck in an infinite time loop. Just my guess.
Anyway, this got me interested in the drama again. I was getting bored around ep 23 because it just felt like Ye Xi Wu was faking her feelings even if that's not the case in the end. Aside from the soap opera level misunderstandings and too much blood-spitting, I think the story got more interesting now.
I started watching episode 29 now and from the beginning I feel bad for Tan Tai Jin, even after all the pain Xi…
This. From the beginning, Xi Wu acted more as a villain, and was the one quick to misunderstand. Though, I wouldnt go as far to not want them together because their relationship is so complicated due to the multiple timelines.
Can someone please tell me how Kim Gyeong Ran is everywhere? She works at Siesta as the store clerk, gets Yeon-jin…
From what I understood she's Yeon Jin's personal stylist from Jae Jun's company (TV personalities, celebrities, news anchors etc. often wears clothes designers/stores lent them to increase its value) but Yeon Jin treats her like a slave that's why she sometimes also babysits Ye Sol. (They were playing dress up since she has her clothes)
I really enjoyed this show although there were some minor plotholes, deus ex machina events and some questionable decisions (Does this classify as makjang?). I kinda wanted more closure on Han Soo Hee's incident. While we already know everything that happened, it would have been more satisfying if the case was reopened to be concluded as murder (or did I miss it somehow?). And Im kinda surprised that no one ever thought of hiring a hitman to assassinate Dong Eun or at least just scare her despite going against evil people with money and connections. That said, the fact that I watched this in one sitting means I was never bored. It really kept me interested until the end.
I think it´s time for some to understand that young and old people can fall in love with each other. If you like…
I honestly dont mind age gap in dramas, but I cant erase in my mind that Lee Doo Hyun was a highschooler in 18 again so I keep seeing him as a teenager lol. (Though he also has a kissing scene with an actress in her 40s in that drama). But I really didnt pay much attention to the romance aspect of this show so with or without it, my opinion remains the same.
Suzhi definitely planned all of this. She only told Qing Kui how their powers will be gone if one of them dies. Heavenly emperor is not really main antagonist material. She's the only one left who can be the main antagonist in the finale.
Like the other commenter said, it's quite a popular trope in recent years for novels and manhwa. Sometimes they…
The story is a combination of reincarnation and regression (going back to younger self) both the most popular trope as of now. It's the same in regression stories, it's rarely explained. I read the novel years ago but didnt finish it because it wasnt fully translated yet. But from where I stopped reading, there wasnt any explanation yet and honestly I've read enough of these stories that Im not really expecting an explanation lol. But the live-action so far have some original plot points that wasnt in the novel or was changed, so there is a chance they will make a non-canon explanation, but with only 2 episodes left, it's hard to say.
what explanation is given in the novel for the reincarnation? can somebody spoil me ? it is ep 14 already and…
Like the other commenter said, it's quite a popular trope in recent years for novels and manhwa. Sometimes they give explanation when the story is set in a fictional world or ancient korea (murim world) but it's rare for the ones set in modern times. Maybe because reincarnation doesnt need any explanation in Korea since it's already tied to their religious beliefs. Also, it's like an unspoken rule that the main character never opens up about his reincarnation to anyone. I can only think of a few exceptions.
