It's usually around this episode I start to get less invested in a chinese drama because they tend to get draggy. But so far Im still enjoying this drama.
did he sacrificed his martial art in ep 28?? then how he will save BFX in ep 32??
Maybe he's going to find a way to restore his inner qi. In wuxia novels, they always find ways to restore their inner qi through "chance encounters" XD. And MCs still need to use the dual technique "sun moon jade"(? forgot the name) so it's highly likely he's not going to remain weak until the end.
He had so much character development from being the carefree young master into this military leader. He became…
He was heartbroken but that doesnt give him a free pass to sexually assault her. This is a common trope in romance novel/comics for girls, and chinese novels are especially notorious for these kind of MLs. I can never get the appeal of this. The ML always gets forgiven without apologizing or suffering any consequences just because he's the ML which is just dumb logic.
It's frustrating how it's taking so long for ML to get his character development. I thought he would be more mature after military academy, but he's still petty and childish.
I hope that the success of AML will convince Korea to dabble in the Time Regression or Reincarnation genre. There…
So many reincarnation-to-younger-self manhwa in recent years XD it's like there is a story for every profession. Again my life and Back from the grave are definitely favorites although Back from the grave is just normal reincarnation with no time travel involved.
As an anime watcher and manga reader, the unique premise doesnt really comes as a surprise. What I've learned today though is that men pregnancy is actually a thing in the BL world XD
For anyone who wants to watch this drama, you should know first that, while it has funny scenes, it is not a comedy drama. And you should also know that sexism and gender roles is still common in Japan, ranked 120 in 150 countries in the gender equality ranking. The drama centers around these social issues in Japan through a guy's perspective.
I just don't understand the logic of scriptwriterI'd rather have Youngseo's father rejected Sunghoon in previous…
I was confused in that part too lol. I think they are trying to resolve this quickly because it was the last episode. In the source material, Sung Hoon had a private talk with Young Seo's father and basically did the usual "break up with my daughter". He eventually accepted him after he showed what he is capable of and because Tae Moo's grandpa took Sung Hoon's side as he's always treated him like his own grandson.
Really sad this is only 12 episodes. Wished they gave more closure to bad rumors about them dating. But the drama did already cover every major plot point in the source material and even added some, albeit resolved too quickly. Maybe the producers didn't expect this to be a hit that's why it's only 12 episodes lol. I guess it's better than stretching out the story and make it a drag. I kinda like the grandpa in the webtoon version though. He found out about Ha Ri and Tae Moo early in the story and really didnt care as long as his grandson marries someone. What this live adaptation did better is that they made Ha Ri's workplace more relevant in the story and they also gave Ha Ri's co-workers characterization.
Overall, this was a feel-good drama through and through and stayed true to it til' the end. The comedy was on point and they didnt hold back with the romcom tropes at all XD 8.5/10 for making me laugh every episode.
Seeing how popular and highly rated this drama is despite being tropey, I guess Im not the only one craving for a light-hearted romcom haha. Really reminds me of how tropey WWWSK but they executed it so well, it's just pure fun.

I know that Minwoo and Yoora were necessary for the plot but they annoyed me a lot 🌝love how Youngseo always…
Actually they already reduced Min Woo's importance in the story for this adaptation. He's barely gotten any screentime so far. Also, if this adaptation stays true to Young Seo's cousin's character, she will play a role in Young Seo's relationship. Although this adaptation might completely skip that plot point.
Is it just me or does Ahn Hyo Seop not seem as fit for the role? I really love him tho but just for this role…
Looking at the behind the scene photos, I think it's not that bad. The MC in the story is not really that arrogant compared to other Arrogant CEOs, well at least in the webtoon.
Lol, why does this have a live action. I've read the manga years ago. It was very smutty and there's a lot of sex scenes. Im kinda curious how they will play this out in live action, the premise itself is not for people who believes monogamy XD.

Every time I finish a drama that doesnt have a happy ending, I always see this comment.
