I dropped this a few times, I just dont know why but the female lead’s character in the first few episodes really turns me off. My friend highly recommend this drama, I will try to pick it up again.

Unchained Love maybe. Ruthless and vengeful ML, he was more red flag in the book but they made him better in the drama. FL was smart and brave. But editing was bad, and it kinda ruin the story.

Don’t expect too much from xianxia drama. This is consider a happy ending. I came to this drama after TTEOTM. I still couldn’t move on from that ending. T_T

A typical xianxia ending. Either one have to sacrifice to save the world. In the end, world is saved, either male lead or female lead is gone. And left the other one waiting for years and years. And a happy ending in xianxia will be, the one who disappeared after saving the world, will magically reappear with no explanation. CP kiss and hug. Why am I expecting more? 😂

I think you have to spoiler this post. I really like this character Changlan. I was a bit disappointed that his demise came too early too easy. I think the actor played the villain role really well. When he was Chen Yi, I am still skeptical, is he good? Is he really good?
