I'm at Episode 10 now. I need some explanation on the first few episodes. Why does the Gu family do not want to marry the princess? I know they do not want to share their fortune with the emperor but in return they will have stronger support and protection, right? But they want support and back up from the ministers(their own relatives), which is very unstable because their boss is still the emperor. Or is the current emperor is waning off, so they do not want to have connection? Will this be reveal or discussed further in the drama? If yes, please don't spoil it for me. Thank you.

Like you, I really enjoyed this drama. Don't be too disheartened by the ending. The fact that they both lived and nobody die, is already a happy ending.
Just like xianxia drama, I leave a lot of room for possibilities for wuxia dramas too. The Jianghu is so big, so many powerful masters and unknown techniques. If he is able to use the power that shorten his life, there is also a possibility that there is someone or something to prolong his life. :D
