I would like to know if Qi Min and QianQian's relationship and storyline were both written in the novel. The setup for this second lead couple is too good to be just second lead. I mean, QQ coming from the future, that is a usual main lead plot. If their storyline is from the novel, is there any continuation or spin off?

Did you watch The Glory with CDL and XYL? It is a very good drama and superb acting from CDL but the actor's performance need a lot of improvement. Of course I will still watch if there is good plot, like 12 Letters, despite I don't really like ZYR's performance in Gen2Gen. He really do have a lot of room for improvement. You all also have to understand, doesn't like doesn't make me a hater. I also strongly believe a good actor or actress most of the time depends on the director to bring the best out of them. and I am not ZLH's fan. I find that these tutors scenes are lowkey unnecessary, FCY may be an uneducated village girl but why make her a book idiot? I know it's for comedy relief but they could use that 5 minutes for better screen edit.

This plot was explained somewhere in the middle. It's about the fire in the palace 16 (or 17) years ago. Qi Min was disfigured and swapped with Lord Changxin's son. Qimin is the previous emperor's Crown Prince's son. But Chancellor Wei wanted another prince to be emperor, so he killed the crown prince and also Marquis Wu's father.
