I really love LYX as Shaoyao. Very convincingly acted as a simpleton girl and not overly cute. SY character is a pure and innocent girl, but at the same time she is also a full grown lady. So many A-list actresses (iykyk) would have given her a ‘I-just-turn-18’ persona with annoying childish voice. I will be looking forward for more of LYX’s drama.
This drama is oh-so-fluffy, everyone is getting their somewhat happy ending and I was beginning to think, where's the angst? It's so unusual to watch C-drama without some angst and breakups.

If you'd started this drama, you should know that the main culprit for the downfall of Hua's family is none other than the emperor himself. And everything the ML did was following the order of the emperor. And ML did not kill any of the Hua family during the eviction (which he could if he wants, his bureau was famous for violence). So basically they feared him, but never hate him.
