We dont get that many grey and toxic (and always constipated 🤣) character like Xie Wei, Tan Tai Jin, DFQC. We know it is fiction and it’s fun to watch them fall madly in love. Stop judging us ok 😌

First life JXN and XW are enemy, second life they will be lover. So FL just need to do the opposite of everything and her fate will be different.

She couldnt control her infatuation with ZZ in both lifes but JXN realized that this is something she should change in this second life. She doesn’t want to ruin ZZ’s future.
We are already mid-way through the drama. Whatever it is with JXN and ZZ has to start and end soon so that the firework wirh XW can start. I’m so worry like some drama, everything cram and rush toward the end.
Both BL and ZJW acted it out superbly in the prison scene. I could felt his innocence and pure heart towards JXN. And I felt JXN forgave YL for what he did. Its complex. But the acting is good that they were able to act out such a complex feeling. Like Alila Nguyen pointed out in a previous discussion, now JXN has a chance to restart her life, YL's life, basically everyone's. How can she be mad with YL for the things that he didnt do in this second life? Yea, the whole r@pe issue from past life was evil but the whole thing is very complex too. You can say that it's two person, in two different situation. It's not the same YL.

This has been discussed a few times on the comment page. I made a similar comment and Alila Nguyen did a good analysis of the whole situation. We can agree to disagree. But yea, because of this whole r*pe thing make me uneasy. But at episode 20, both BL and ZJW acted it out superbly in the prison scene. I could felt his innocence and pure heart towards JXN. I think for us, the problem is we treated the first life as her past experience, and therefore the act is unforgivable.…
I guess because TTEOTM is xianxia genre, I will watch it with less logic and emotion. You are right, JXN is trying to prevent everything that went wrong in the first life.
