Finished with lots of fast forwarding! I ended up watching this drama because I watched an mv on YouTube of the couple's kiss scenes and it was good, plus I got curious about the drama even though I read lots of the bad reviews about it.
The reviews are right that it's not good, but honestly, it's not the worst I have seen. You can say as someone said below, nothing special and nothing to hate about it.
Ok, the acting wasn't the best, but it was not that bad. The main couple were cute together and I loved their kiss scenes and interactions. The actor playing Rak was not that good, he was kind of stiff. The actor playing Dino, was good, I liked his acting.
Honestly, I think the story and the whole production overall was quite bad. Like they made lots of different sounds. I get it's for comedy purposes, but it was too much, and some did not suit the drama or the scene. I'm not an expert and it's my opinion, but it was too much.
Even the flow of the story was not good. Like a scene would feel too slow or draggy, or another scene would be too fast. Or they quickly switch to something else and I'm like what happened here!? It's like there was no flow or connection at all.
And honestly, I would have made it up to 8 episodes and that's it. Like I thought there were 8 episodes but there were 2 more left and these last 2 episodes were draggy and frustrating. Like Rak already had 2 annoying jerks, like his ex-boyfriend and ex-friend. Did they have to add another stalker to the mix? I would have made the last 2 episodes happy for the couple and not made them fight each other and unhappy.
Anyway, I'm glad I finished this drama. I don't know why I got so curious about this drama. It's the first time my curiosity was so misplaced. Talking to my curiosity: 'Dear curiosity I watched this drama, are you happy now?' :P
Anyway, I do not recommend this drama. Just watch it if you are curious, like I was. Or you have nothing to watch.
Loved it! It was so cute and hilarious! xD It was over the top at times, but I enjoyed it! Aoyanagi and Akafuji were so cute together <3 I shipped the managers together and they were together!
The story was just right and to the point, but I want to see more. I would love to see the office drama Aoyanagi and Akafuji shot. A drama in a drama lol :P Seriously, I'm kind of curious of how it would have turned out, edited and all.
Btw, the kiss scene was not good, but let's ignore it and I kind of expected it, so I'm not that disappointed. However, their chemistry was good.
I recommend this short drama. A fun and quick watch XD
The story was interesting and different from usual. I usually see a drama or read a webtoon where the female lead goes from the modern times to the ancient times. In this drama it's from the ancient times to the modern times. I liked that. Also, I liked the leads together, they were cute and good <3
However, since the drama is very short, the story is fast paced and sometimes the story is not connected well and like it does not make sense at times.
For the ending, it's a like a mystery whether it was time-travelling, a dream (since a year passed in the modern times and 7 days passed in the ancient times) or maybe amnesia, but only the female lead remembers.
Or maybe it is like she foresaw her reincarnation in modern times. But the male lead in the modern times says he looked for her for 3 years, so I don't know. I won't get too much into it and leave it as a happy ending for our leads.
Finished! I really enjoyed watching this drama. The story was good, and I liked the cast and characters. There were some questionable moments of some actors’ acting, but overall, it was good. I loved the sports theme, and I liked the twins switch plot was well. It was interesting and had hilarious moments.
I really loved First and Sprite together. They were cute, their kiss scenes were great, and I liked their chemistry. What I did not like in the plot was that Sprite did not tell First immediately that he was acting as Zee, especially when Zee was going to go back to being himself and go back to volleyball.
Like 2 episodes and more had to pass before Sprite told First. And this is after First was confused and the real Zee hurt him badly. I really wanted to shake the real Zee there. As he knew his brother Sprite loved First and he did not even try to help him a little bit. He was arrogant and cold as he was in the beginning of the drama. I did not like Zee at all from the beginning till the end.
To be fair, it was Sprite’s fault as well, he should have told First immediately. I get that he did not want to expose his brother and, he was afraid of First’s rejection. Also, at this point the plot got a bit confusing, as it got worse, frustrating, and annoying to watch. At least, in the last episode, it was finally resolved and happy ending to Sprite and First.
The actor really did a great job as a twin and acting as Zee and Sprite. I could identify when he was Zee and when he was Sprite. Yes, their hair was different, and you could identify them from there. But if you look carefully, the expressions of Zee and Sprite were different, even how he smiled was a bit different, and you could see who’s who. Although the hair did help in some moments, especially when they were playing volleyball.
For the other couples, they were ok. Their kiss scenes were good, but I could not ship them together or believe they were together. Or maybe I did not like them together. Honestly, I kind of did not take notice of them. I was more focused on Sprite and First and that was enough for me.
Overall, I enjoyed this drama ^_^ I really wanted to watch it when it was announced, waited for all the episodes to come out and watched it. I recommend it :D
Binged watched in a day! I really enjoyed it! The story was so sweet, cute, and gentle. I loved the leads together! Their chemistry and acting were really good <3
Honestly, the story is nothing special or new, you can say it's average. But it focuses on everyday life with people who have their own careers and problems and then who gradually fall in love. The romance is slow, so it is not everybody's cup of tea, but the kiss scenes and chemistry are awesome!
Also, since the drama was short, the story was just right. It was not too draggy nor too fast.
I recommend it ^_^ Plus you got to watch all the VBL series anyway ;P
I read the webtoon recently and I really loved it! So, I wanted to watch the drama.
The sad part was that since the drama was short, a lot of the story was left out. Like I wanted to see them when they got jobs and even the scenes with Jo Tae Sung's father.
However, I can say that they really have done a good adaptation from the webtoon. You can say that the important scenes (I see them important) from the webtoon were included, especially Jo Tae Sung's mother accepting their relationship. I really loved that part.
Also, they changed little details to suit the drama, since they needed to make the flow of the story faster. I did not mind since it made more sense and they wanted to give the drama and story closure at the same time.
I really loved it! <3 <3 I haven't watched youth dramas / school dramas for some time now and I haven't loved one in so long! I usually tend to avoid them as they turn boring for me. However, the story of this drama kept me watching from the beginning till the end! :D
I loved that it literally had everything in it. Family, friends, teamwork, music, school, studying, life, work, youth, romance, bromance, sismance, comedy, doing silly things, sadness, pain, the need to communicate in any form, sign language, beautiful messages throughout the whole drama, fantasy, adventure, past, present, future, etc.
It really gave me fuzzy and warm feelings :3 A feel-good drama. I can say I watched this drama at the right moment of my life. It made me smile a lot! :D
I'm sad that Ha Eun Gyeol did not manage to prevent his father's accident in 1995. But we can say that what is meant to happen in life, will happen no matter how much you try to prevent it. However, you can do your best to turn any obstacles in your life to your advantage and look at them in a positive light. Like how they showed us at the last episode. Honestly, I feel like they could have showed us more, but I loved it as it is ^_^
Also, loved the production, excellent acting, great cast and loved the music. The best of all was the story. I always love a well written story that gives me different emotions and the best of all a happy ending :D
Okay. So, Can someone explain me whats going on in the first episode, I got confused as Ha Yi Chan (young) is…
This is going to be a spoiler and I'm currently watching this drama, so I haven't watched it all yet.
Ha Yi Chan (young) is in 1995. The story is going to rotate between 1995 and 2023. It's mostly going to focus on 1995 since Ha Eun Gyeol (Ha Yi Chan's son) travelled to 1995. I do agree it is a bit confusing in the first episode. I think it was meant to be a twist and surprise us and for Ha Eun Gyeol to meet the young version of his dad and the story continues from there.
Choi Se Kyeong (young with long hair) is the original one. Choi Se Kyeong (young with short hair) is her daughter who looks exactly like her and like Ha Eun Gyeol comes from 2023. But, she is totally different from the young version of her mother.
I hope this helps you understand the story better and continue watching it. I'm really enjoying and loving it! ^_^
Maybe I really had no expectations at all, but overall, I did enjoy this drama.
Yes, the story has its flaws as at times the plot did not make sense, or I did not know exactly what was going on. Even the plan regarding the wedding made sense why Kondiao had to ditch it, but then lost its purpose as the story went along. And I'm like what the heck! But I'm like whatever just get on with it and let's end this drama.
But on the positive side, it had hilarious, light, sweet and cute moments. Also, I really loved the dog Nong. It was so sweet, cute, and adorable <3 And the tricks were so cute! <3
For the couple, Kondiao and Yi, they are cute together and I loved their kiss scenes and bed scenes <3 Theirs was the best compared to the others.
For the acting. The actor Nat playing Kondiao still needs to improve a lot. His expressions in certain scenes do not make sense and at times made me want to shake him. However, to be fair, he did improve a bit from when he started in Why R U till now.
The airport scene when Kondiao received that call that Yi was in hospital and Kondiao cried was quite realistic. I was quite surprised at that. It was good. But that was it. The rest was not that good. Also, Kondiao was supposed to be good at taekwondo and he's also a coach, right? So, why the heck he did not protect himself at all when it mattered! Why did he need others to help and protect him! I'm like what the heck! Anyway, whatever.
To be more positive. Nat's character in Y-destiny suited him better and he did act better there. Timid and cute roles like in Naughty Babe do not suit him at all. That's my opinion anyway.
To conclude, it's up to you whether to watch this drama or not. Personally, I wanted to watch this drama since I watched Cutie Pie and wanted to watch its sequel. Overall, it's not that bad, I did enjoy it. Just close one eye or both :P
Finished! I did enjoy this drama overall. It really had hilarious moments. Plus, all the actors were excellent and did a good job. I also loved the production, music, and the fighting scenes.
Also, I loved Jin Jung's team, how they worked and the bizarre things they did. The call at the airport with a bomb threat was the most outrageous I ever saw, and it really stuck in my mind. Also, seeing a Prosecutor calling from his own personal mobile phone and making a bomb threat was even more outrageous.
I agree with the comments below. This drama should be called Crazy Prosecutor. Also, I loved seeing his team do outrageous things as well, as the story went along. It was hilarious :D
However, for the story overall, there were times the plot was obvious, and I guessed who killed who quickly and that was boring for me and draggy.
On the other hand, the story had good twists and I did not expect them, especially at the end of the drama. It was that Prosecutor Park Jae Kyung was alive and came in to drag Oh Do Hwan down. That was the finishing point to put Oh Do Hwan in jail. That guy had no remorse at all and got what he deserved.
Also, Prosecutor Oh Do Hwan joining their side was nice to see, I thought he would side with the villains till the end. But he helped them out a lot and redeemed himself.
For this drama whether to watch or not, it's up to you. It's a drama either you like it or not. Or maybe somewhere in between like me. But it's not that bad and I did enjoy it. Plus, it's 12 episodes, so you can watch it faster. For me, that's one of the reasons I ended up watching it.
Lately, I feel that Korean dramas with 16 episodes are too long. I know they are considered short, compared to series out there in America or in Europe. But I rarely watch series from America or Europe, plus I'm getting old and more impatient so I can't stick to 16 episodes. Unless the story is good and hooks me from the beginning till the end. And lately, I'm rarely finding dramas that interest me. Anyway, that's me ranting, so over and out.
Finally watched season 2 after a year of watching season 1. I enjoyed season 2 more than I thought I would. Honestly, I did not like season 2 at first as they changed the actress, but I warmed up to it and later changed my mind. But I loved and will still love season 1 more.
Although, they had to change the actress because of the plot, otherwise it would not make sense. After all, Naksu went into another body in the first place in the beginning of season 1 as her original body was dying and wanted to get revenge.
In season 2, Naksu's character had to change because she woke into Jin Bu Yeon's body and lost her memory. Plus, she got physically weaker because it was not the body, she trained in the first place. But she did not get weak per se, she got divine powers instead.
For the ending. In season 1, my heart broke in how it ended in a cliffhanger and in a tragedy with Naksu / Mu Deok killing Jung Uk. But the ending in season 2, the story was wrapped up and a happy ending for our main characters. The villains and the greedy ones who wanted to live forever got what they deserved as well.
For the fire bird part plot. It was interesting and was mentioned a lot throughout season 2 and I had some expectations to it, but then it ended really quickly. That was disappointing. I do not know what I expected, but maybe I wanted more action, I do not know.
Anyway, what I wanted the most was for Naksu / Cho Yeong / Mu Deok and Jung Uk to somehow live happily together and they did :D It's all thanks to Jin Bu Yeon / Jin Seol-ran stepping aside and giving the body to Naksu.
Afterall, I think the real Jin Bu Yeon died as a baby and like Master Lee, Jin Seol-ran took over the dead body to continue to protect the stone and was reborn with all her powers. So, you can say it was not her body either and she had no reason to stay and so she gave the body to Naksu.
Plus, all the couples got married as well, I'm happy for them :D
For the crown prince, now the King a year later, I wanted to see who his wife would be, but that is a curiosity I will have to keep. A happy ending to all.
A character I did not want to die and wanted her to live was Seo-i, she really deserved better.
Anyway, I'm glad I finally watched season 2 and wrapped up the story. It's actually a good story when you combine season 1 and 2 together. I would have like it shorter, as season 2 had some draggy moments. Yes, ok season 2 had 10 episodes, but it was like 15 episodes if each episode was 1 hour each. But all in all, the story was interesting and amazing, I enjoyed it ^_^
I loved it! I loved the production and the story. Also, great cast, characters, and awesome acting.
I mostly loved the messages they gave. ''Nothing will be done if nothing is done.''
The themes dealt in this movie are school bullying and violence, which is quite serious and upsetting. However, I honestly laughed a lot and enjoyed So Si Min giving Han Su Kang a taste of his own medicine. He really had no regret or remorse at all. He finally got what he deserved.
It reminds me of Gokusen and Kamen Teacher, two Japanese dramas and movies school related that I love and have the similar themes.
The story is an old-style story of the 2000's with lots of cliches, but it was nice to watch, and I ended up enjoying it. It was not perfect, had annoying moments and boring moments, but it's a high school drama after all, so it was not bad. Plus, it's a fast watch, so it was ok.
What I do not agree with is the ending. I thought Aiko would finally come clean and say that she was acting as Mai, but Reo stopped her, and they left it as a secret. I do not like that. It's complicated and messy. So what if others do not see them as compatible together? It's none of their business. Anyway, if they are happy to leave things as they are, it's up to them.
It's not for everyone, so it's up to you whether to watch it or not :)
Honestly, I really enjoyed this drama, as I expected it to be a disaster with some of the comments and reviews, I briefly read.
I think this drama depends on how you look at it to like it. If you came only for the romance BL part, I agree. It was frustrating with lots of misunderstandings between Mahiro and Sota. They could not communicate at all. Plus, with lots of third parties involved and obstacles getting in the way of their relationship. And if you wanted some steamy kiss scenes or awesome chemistry, forget it. I just found them cute together, they finally got together and the end.
However, if you look at it from another aspect, I really liked the story. I mostly loved the Grandma plot. She sent her grandson a time capsule letter and it was like she knew Sota would be struggling with his work and would forget to take a break. So, she used his stuff as an excuse, to let him take a break now and then. Plus, to get him to meet Mahiro of course. I think she was the cupid actually :)
I also really loved the cooking parts with different dishes and cuisines of some countries around the world. I loved how this drama integrated the foreigners living in Japan. I see it as a message and telling us that since the world is now connected and people can go live in any country, we should embrace different people, different cultures and be more open minded. This is not in Japan only but everywhere in the world.
For the comedy part, it was hilarious how Sota de-stressed from work by eating nude. I liked that. Honestly, it's better than showing us a character going to a bar, going to a club, or going whatever and drinking your stress away. It was refreshing to see something different :D
This drama was not the best and had questionable moments, but I liked and enjoyed it :)
The reviews are right that it's not good, but honestly, it's not the worst I have seen. You can say as someone said below, nothing special and nothing to hate about it.

I would have like it shorter, as season 2 had some draggy moments. Yes, ok season 2 had 10 episodes, but it was like 15 episodes if each episode was 1 hour each. But all in all, the story was interesting and amazing, I enjoyed it ^_^
I mostly loved the messages they gave.
Definitely watch this movie! :D
