However, the story is not the best I ever watched. I did enjoy it, do not get me wrong.
But it's like they tried to make the story with twists and big reveals and that gave me high expectations, and in the end, it was nothing special. Like the big reveals and twists they were trying to show were obvious. I feel like I cannot explain it properly. Plus, the ending was quite rushed.
Although, the niece of Tinn dying was the saddest part and that broke my heart.
On the other hand, I really loved Charn and Tinn together. Their chemistry and romance were lovely, cute, and adorable <3 I also really loved their acting. The looks they gave each other, flirting, hugs, bickering, etc, they were beautiful <3 Yes, their kiss scenes were not that great with sniff kisses and the fish kisses, but I loved them together <3
For the actor playing as Thatthep, he was great as always. I love his acting and he always excels as a villain. For the rest of the cast, they were good as well.
I recommend this drama. It's not perfect, but I really enjoyed it ^_^
Finished in one day! I really loved the story, especially the ghost plot was interesting. It's a shame that they did not get into it that much.
Moreover, I loved the story, the chemistry and love of Gu Bu Xia and Jiang Chi. They were so sweet, cute, adorable, and lovely together! <3 <3
For the ending, it was left open. It's quite interesting if they make a second season and focus the plot more on the ghosts. And now Jiang Chi can also hear the ghosts, I'm curious about the message the ghost wanted to give him.
Finished! I really enjoyed this drama overall :D I liked the story, cast, characters, acting, backgrounds, costumes, martial arts, couples, and a happy ending ^_^ I also really enjoyed the modern references, they were hilarious in a historical context :D
I did like this drama; however, 30 episodes were too long, and it had a lot of filler episodes. Ok, most of them were hilarious and I did enjoy them, but at times it lost the purpose of the main plot and I just fast forward those scenes.
Also, what I'm disappointed is the final battle between the villains and Kui Mu Lang. Ok, Qi Pa powered him up with her blood (because of the Holy Pearl being inside her for 5 years I assume it made her blood powerful) and he defeated the villains, but it ended quite quickly. It's not that I wanted the villains to win, but we spent almost all the drama leading up to it, and it ended quickly. Like I don't know what I wanted to see, but I wanted something more.
Like we only saw Su He gets killed and defeated by Kui Mu Lang. While the mysterious man, aka Su He's father and the woman helping him, were lying on the floor defeated and practically that's it. We're just told that the other 2 were executed.
Moreover, they killed off Ma Ying Xiong. I was so sad. Chun Er and Ma Ying Xiong could not end up together forever T_T
At least all the couples finally did after being in love with each other all throughout the drama :)
Anyway, this drama is not perfect, but it is enjoyable and hilarious. It is mostly light and positive with some sad moments. And it is a bit long, but I do recommend it ^_^
It's not necessary :) One thing worth knowing maybe is that the FL's mom is from the present times, so the FL…
Thank you for this response, I was looking for it ^_^ I thought that this drama continued with the Go Princess, Go! (2015) and couldn't watch this one. I'm off to start this drama :D
I loved it! They were so cute and adorable! <3 I loved all couples <3 Their chemistry and kiss scenes were great, they have really done well ^_^ I really had no expectations at all, and I enjoyed it ^_^
I can say that I loved the story of the Korean version more than the original Thai drama. It was executed better, and it made more sense. However, I do remember some scenes from the Thai version that they included in the Korean version, it was nice to see ^_^
In the Thai version, the story deviated from its original plot and went into a different direction. Although I did love the couples together in the Thai version. Also, if I remember correctly at that time, it was the peak of covid and they had to cut pieces from the drama because of it, and so the story got lost.
I enjoyed this special! It was cute and adorable <3 They gave us a satisfied ending for Namnuea and Lom and it was nice seeing all the characters together ^_^
Watched it in a day! I did enjoy this drama overall; it was cute to watch.
However, the plot in my opinion was complicated for nothing. Like the plan Yiwa and Lom came up with was lousy and painful. Like I felt that Lom was insulting Namnuea and his job as a wedding planner. It made me feel sad and painful. But, Namnuea accepted it, so let's leave it at that.
Also, I get that it is difficult to open to your family, especially if your family is close minded and traditional. I know it's hard, but it gets harder the more you lie and makes you feel anxious and bad inside.
Yes, this drama is light, and it ended well, with a twist of Lom acting that he is sad, etc to lighten it up and make it hilarious. Plus, Lom managed to get his mum to accept Namnuea, so that's a win.
However, I did not agree with Yiwa and Marine running away. What was the point of the wedding if she ran away? They should have cancelled it, stood their ground, and said what they wanted to say. Then, if the mums continue not agreeing, then you do what you must do. At least, you fought for it. Ok, easier said than done, but I wish that it could have gone in that direction.
Anyway, I did enjoy this drama overall, plus it's short so it's not draggy. It's a drama purely for fun and entertainment, plus the kiss scenes were great <3 Up to you whether to watch or not, it's a fast watch for sure :)
Although the story was not perfect, it had draggy scenes and I had to distract myself with something else while watching the drama, but I really enjoyed the story. It made me cry, laugh, smile, get angry, be sad, etc. It made me feel lots of emotions.
Also, I'm happy that the main couple, Lu Zhao Yao and Mo Qing/Li Chen Lan managed to end up together despite all they went through, the obstacles and accusations they faced.
But I'm sad that the other characters and couples did not end up together as one of them may have died or did not reunite together. And there were lots of characters who I liked who died and that made me sad. You can say that this drama has light moments, but it is mostly serious and not a happy ending for all characters.
Anyway, I also really liked the cast, characters, acting, costumes, background, fighting scenes, the martial arts, the music, the CGI, and the production. They did a great drama.
It took me 3 years to watch this drama and I'm glad I finally did ^_^ I recommend it! :D
I watched and am still watching the anime and I really love One Piece. I was afraid of this live action. However, the live action was awesome and was close to the anime :D
Yes, there were some changes to the plot, some changes to the main character's back story, some characters missing (like Hatchan, the octopus fish man), some changes to the main characters physical appearances (like Usopp's nose, Sanji's eyebrow, etc), made the Straw Hat pirate crew weaker (as in the anime they were a lot stronger in the East Blue arc) and the East Blue arc plot was really fast forwarded compared to the anime (like they summed up 61 episodes of the anime into 8 episodes of the live action).
I'm not complaining though, I loved the live action. It was excellent and done well to suit the live action. As in my opinion if some things in the anime were done exactly in real life, it would look weird. Like I love how they toned down a lot of Sanji's obsessiveness with women and made him as a flirt. If they showed it exactly like in the anime, it would have been weird and creepy.
I especially loved how they managed to make most of the characters look and feel the same as in the anime. Of course, I watched this live action in Japanese dubbing with English subtitles as I felt that I could not live up to the full experience of One Piece if I watched it in the English language.
I felt that it would sound weird to me in English since I watched the One Piece anime in Japanese with English subtitles. Like I could not bear to not hear the word 'Nakama'. Find me weird, but I love hearing it. And I could not imagine the fighting moves said in proper English. Technically the Japanese say them in English, but in their own way, which sound awesome. I know I'm weird :P
However, maybe someday, I'll rewatch the live action of One Piece in English, while we wait for season 2. As I'm assuming that it will takes at least 2 years to come out as Netflix always takes that long between each season of any of their series.
I recommend this live action! Even if you did not read the manga or watched the anime, you would still get the gist of the story and it is pure fun, adventure, friendships, and excitement :D
Btw, Buggy’s character was done well and was creepy. He made me shudder, the first time he split his body into different pieces. In the anime, it was light but in the live action, it felt dark until I got used to it. But I liked him, I'm not complaining.
Anyway, great production, great CGI, great fighting scenes, great costumes, makeup, great cast, characters, great acting and I love the Going Merry ship ^_^
But it had draggy moments, and the story was not that perfect. Like some parts of the story were lost, especially the story around Redrin, the evil one, the group Hongwoodaedae and Rembrary. Like I kind of expected more of it since for me that was the interesting part of the drama.
However, overall, it was not bad. I liked the cast, characters, acting, the wild animal group, the entertainment parts / idol parts and the comedy moments were hilarious and made me laugh out loud.
The last episode was nice as well, as the villains were defeated. Plus, for a moment I thought the leads would forget each other, but they remembered and a happy ending for all.
You can say that it's not the best drama ever, but it was enjoyable :)
I loved the second season as well! I think it will continue since it said 'end of season 2' at the end of episode 15 or what the google lens told me as I could not find episode 15, the last one subbed. I will look forward to the 3rd one if they decide to continue it :)
I love this drama! It's my favourite! <3 I loved it from the beginning till the end! <3
I really loved the story! It was not draggy at all, it made sense, one thing followed the other and the time travel parts were good!
I really loved the parts in the story where Kawi could move to his past and future (at first, I called it his present), that was interesting!
It's the first time I have seen a story like this. Usually characters in a drama, a webtoon, a manga, a book, a novel, etc end up in the past, stay there and have no way back.
But in this drama, it was interesting to see that a change in the past, changes the future in different ways and Kawi could travel to see what the changes were. If the drama was longer, they could have experimented with different futures and that would be interesting!
Not that I'm complaining about the length of the drama! For me it's perfect and just right! No draggy episodes and scenes! I had expectations for this drama and my expectations where met! I haven't felt that excited about a drama for so long! It made me so happy! <3
For the leads, I never would have shipped them together, or put them in a drama together, but I loved them together! They were cute and adorable together! <3
For me they are not the best actors among the GMM actors. I do like them, don't get me wrong, but I would never say they are my favourite actors. Or maybe the dramas they acted in until till now and I happened to watch them in, in my opinion they did not shine that much (my opinion).
But in this drama, their chemistry was good and maybe they fit in with the characters and they really shined in here!
Or this is the perfect example of a well written story and drama, helps the actors act better and shine better! I really wish we get more dramas like this, a just right drama! <3
I recommend this drama! xD Go watch it now! I waited for 3 months for it to finish and watched it in 2 days!
I really enjoyed it. Yes, it was short, but it was simple, light, cute and easy going. It would have been nicer if it was fleshed out a bit as some parts were rushed or did not make sense, but on the whole, it was nice to watch ^_^
Honestly, it was not bad, and the story had more potential to be better than showed, if it was fleshed out more.
However, since it was short with 11 mins each episode, the story was really rushed. In some parts I could not understand the story and at one point I lost interest.
Plus, I could not feel the romance between the leads, Lan Xiao Yu (female lead) and Chi Jing Yu (male lead) since the female lead first liked the Crown Prince (2nd male lead). Then they rushed the romance between Lan Xiao Yu and Chi Jing Yu.
However, the body switching part was interesting and the ending showed that the Crown Prince was not what he seemed. So that twist at the end made it interesting. Whether they will continue it or not, I don't know but I think I will watch it if they did.
Honestly, it was better than I expected, as I did not have high expectations for this drama. I thought it would be only light and cheesy, and it kind of was, but it had some dark moments. Plus, those moments turned into positive messages which I liked :)
For the chemistry of the leads, it was nothing special, but they were cute. I discovered that the leads are in a k-pop group which I never heard about. Off to discover a new group :)
Honestly, I really enjoyed it. It was nothing new, original or the best drama I ever watched. Like we all seen, read or hear about corruption, bribes, money laundering, illegal stuff, prostitution, kidnapping, murder, greed, power, self-interests, etc, in a drama or hear about it in real life with politicians, the government, police etc. It happens and unfortunately it will continue happening.
But I enjoyed how they showed it in this drama. I also loved the little bit of fantasy where Kim Hee Woo time traveled back in the past, improved himself and he could also help the people he cared about and helped their lives for the better.
I consider this drama to be light. Yes, it had serious moments, but not that harsh in my opinion with bits of comedy throughout the drama that lightens up the mood.
Thinking more about this drama, you can say it was too good to be true as a story. Like even if someone goes back to the past and he/she can change things or moments that happen, like would things go well?
Like Kim Hee Woo rarely had setbacks and things mostly went well. Yes, you can say he's witty, intelligent, a genius, has a good memory, etc and I'm not complaining as I did enjoy this drama this way. But it's too to be true in my opinion.
Anyway, it's a drama with a good ending and positive messages, so let's take it as it is :) And the actors were all excellent, good fighting scenes, a good story and a good production overall ^_^
Loved the movie! It had a different feel from the drama, I think it was shot better. Also, the story was more tense, and a lot was going on in the movie. Honestly, it felt more than 2 hours.
Definitely worth watching all the dramas, special and this movie <3
However, the story is not the best I ever watched. I did enjoy it, do not get me wrong.
