Honestly, it wasn't that bad. I quite enjoyed it and made me feel nostalgic as I watched the Korean drama 7 years ago. That's so long ago lol.
Of course, you cannot compare it to the original Korean drama, as it's one of my most favourite dramas and I really love the story. However, this adaptation is quite faithful and good.
The downside was that it was too rushed, and the story was mashed up together. Even the chemistry between the leads was rushed. Like I ignored it because I know the original story.
For the ending, it was really lacking and left in the air. Maybe they will continue it. I don't know as Chinese short dramas tend to leave a cliffhanger at the end so that they will continue it. At least from my recent experience of watching short Chinese dramas.
Anyway, I do recommend watching this drama. It's a fast watch, memory lane and it's good if you do not know what you're going to watch.
I'm in a drama slump right now. I cannot seem to find anything interesting to watch or nothing is catching my attention, so I just randomly decided to watch this drama.
Honestly, it's not bad, but I did not like it as I expected.
Maybe I had high expectations, or I don't know what I wanted exactly. But the story was not that good in my opinion. Or maybe not that presented well. Or it was so ordinary with full of cliches that I did not like it that much.
Or there were so much stuff going on like trauma, sexual harassment, villains getting what they deserved, etc that in a short drama like this, it was rushed and mashed up together.
Even the time gap in the same episode was too fast. Like it was Christmas Day, and the next scene was Valentine's Day. I think the problem was more how they presented it or maybe they had time limitation so they cut and pieced episodes together.
However, overall it was not bad. In the end, the highlight of this drama and the point of it was Uea and King. I did love them together. They were cute and adorable together <3 And the ending made me smile from ear to ear <3
Their relationship was quite healthy considering the fact that they started their relationship with sex. However, King was already interested in Uea from the beginning and really cared for him. Their relationship was quite good and the fact that King never forced Uea to do anything against his will was nice to see. I really loved that. King always asked for consent each time. Even when they made a bet and King won, he did not use it against Uea. I love them <3
Btw, an annoying character in this drama was Uea's mother. This woman really needs a slap. I can say the actress did a good job.
PS: Also, another annoying character and he unfortunately appeared in every episode was Jade. This guy really does not know how to act. I had watched him before in Cutie Pie and I did not like his acting at all. Here he was more annoying as he appeared more. I don't know whether I'm going to watch Middleman's Love, but whatever.
Honestly, I really had low expectations for this drama, but I got curious about it and so I decided to watch it. I really enjoyed watching it ^_^ It was not the greatest drama I ever watched, but it was not bad.
The plot was not the most original and there were moments when the acting of some actors was off.
However, for the plot I liked the blend of school life, the mafia life, and the mentions of drugs and of course love. Btw, the blood type part was interesting as well, like Sun and Sky met because they have the same blood type. Also, this drama is considered quite light and not that violent.
I loved all the couples, Sun and Sky + Bank and Pitch. They were all adorable and cute together <3 Ok, their kiss scenes and chemistry were not the greatest ever compared to dramas like KinnPorsche, Love in the Air, all History series (Taiwanese dramas), etc. But I enjoyed this drama ^_^
Finished! I did enjoy the story and I did like it, but it's not the most excellent drama I ever watched. It had moments where a scene gets too draggy, and I did fast forward some scenes.
It's not that I hated it. I did like the story, the story about the legend of the Tiger King and the messages that we should take care of nature, the forest, and the animals. I also loved the place where they filmed, it was beautiful.
Also, I loved the cast and the characters. I really loved the villagers as well. Like they are loyal, work together, help each other, etc. They are one big family.
I mostly and really loved the actor who played Dr. Sama / the Tiger King. I loved his expressions. Like when he is sad, in pain, hurt, in love, angry, playful, cheeky, adorable, etc. Like wow. Honestly, he was the highlight of the whole drama in my opinion.
For the actress playing as Parichart, I did not hate her, but I wish she could have done better. Like her expressions were mostly the same.
Still, I did love Sama and Parichart as a couple and the highlights of the drama was not the romance, so let's put it aside. I loved Nonta and Kahlong as a couple, but it's a shame we barely saw any. And Saksit and Dr. Atchara were cute as well, but we barely saw anything either.
A happy ending to all and the villains got what they deserved. I mostly feel sad for those characters who fought hard to protect the forest, the animals and the Tiger King and they died, they really did not deserve it.
Anyway, I really recommend this drama ^_^ It’s been a long time since I last watched a straight Thai drama. I mostly watch BL Thai dramas nowadays.
Honestly, I did enjoy it. I loved all the couples and their kiss scenes. They were all cute and adorable. I also enjoyed the guest roles of Ye Xing Si and Fu Yong Jie from History 4: Close to You. It was nice seeing them again <3
However, the plot was kind of messed up or I can say not executed properly. If felt like all over the place.
I found myself bored at times and doing something else while watching. This is considering that even one episode was not even 30 mins long, except for the last episode which was longer.
It's not the worst ever, but it could have been better. Still, I did enjoy it :)
Loved it! It was a short drama, but it was nice, cute, lovely, heartwarming and deals with lots of issues and great messages. It is also a happy ending for the main leads ^_^
I really enjoyed this drama! It was really hilarious! xD I decided to watch it because of the cross dressing troupe as it is one of my favourites, but did not have high hopes but I ended up loving this drama! <3
I loved the combination of romance, comedy, bits of dark moments (but mostly light), awesome characters, great kissing scenes, great chemistry and family feel with all the cast and actors, good fighting scenes, loved the costumes, background and production overall.
I mostly loved Ye Zhao Nan and Liu Xuan Ming together. They were so cute, adorable, and great together. I loved their chemistry; it was excellent, and their reactions felt real and genuine.
Also, considering this was a short Chinese drama, I loved the story and how it was portrayed and gave great messages too.
Like men and women can do anything they want and what they like. Regardless that the stereotype is that a man is supposed to do that, or a woman is supposed to do that. Like the world can prosper if we stop judging and see beyond our noses (not sure if this is an expression or I’m using it well but like I have heard it somewhere before, but whatever ;P)
Honestly, I liked it better than I expected. The story was crammed and sped up, but I kind up warmed up to it as the story went along and liked it.
Of course, the manga and the anime are the best and what I mostly love. Also, I do love the 2010 movie version more as it was the first live action adaptation of Kimi ni Todoke and in my opinion the actors were more suited to the characters.
However, the drama was good, and I ended up liking the actors who played the characters.
I have one question and I'm curious about it. Was this drama filmed like between 2014 and 2015? As when they were looking at brochures to enter colleges, they all had 2015 year written on them.
Anyway, if you are a fan of the story, it's good to check this drama out ^_^
This is the first time I have seen a variety show from the beginning till the end, as I sometimes / rarely watch short clips of Korean variety shows on youtube.
I honestly enjoyed it a lot ^_^ It was interesting, exciting, dangerous, had hard quests and made me feel tense most of the time.
Now, I don't know if the ending was rigged or there was foul play, etc but I can say at least I loved the concept of this variety show.
It would be interesting if they made a second season. I don't know whether they will continue it or not with the controversies that happened and saying that there was foul play.
Btw, I think there was one of the death matches missing as the action stuntwoman did not appear. Correct me if I'm wrong but I do not remember her. I noticed her when she like got the spotlight of the moving sand quest because she builds the bridge well and stuck the velcro well and her team won thanks to her.
Anyway, it was nice to watch, and I got to learn about sports I had never heard before.
Honestly, in this season I found Hira frustrating and I literally wanted to shake him to understand that Kiyoi actually loves him back. Like are they in a relationship or not? It's like a servant serving a king.
Again, they are weird, but strangely complement each other and cute together. Like they fit like a glove to each other in a weird way. Like they are both obsessed with each other, which is why their relationship works.
The acting and chemistry of the actors are really good, that's probably why I love them together <3 Or maybe I'm weird as well ;P
Anyway, at the end of this season 2 we see Hira moving slowly forward and wants to reach Kiyoi so we can say that Hira wants to get closer to Kiyoi.
The story was so beautiful and artistic. At first, I thought it was nothing special, but I was totally wrong. I really got mesmerised by the story and by Hira's and Kiyoi's relationship and chemistry.
Honestly, Hira's and Kiyoi's relationship was kind of weird at first, but it got interesting. We got to see both of their perspectives of how they felt about each other.
Like they liked each other so much that they both did not know what to do exactly and awkwardly fumbled around each other. It was weird, so cute and adorable <3
Then, when they finally understood each other and communicated properly that they both love each other, it was like fireworks sparked in the sky and my breath of relief came out. I was really tense, and I hoped it would be a happy ending and my wish came true! <3
I actually liked it a lot! The story was interesting. Also, since it was a game, adding effects during fighting scenes, adding name tags, and listing the characters abilities made it feel more like a game which I really liked.
For the ending, it feels like open ended, and it could continue and it looked like the game was starting to upload again. If they continue it, I would like to see Cheng Da Lei and Su Ying together.
Of course, you cannot compare it to the original Korean drama, as it's one of my most favourite dramas and I really love the story. However, this adaptation is quite faithful and good.
