It's not bad, but it's not great either. The story has good parts, but it is a kind of a mess.
Also, at times it is a bit exaggerated and some characters really exaggerated a lot! Moreover, there were random scenes just to promote a product was bad. I know they had sponsors, and they need to promote them, but still make more of an effort to include them in the story.
Like for an example adding a random scene of Sky's mother mentioning doing zumba to Ken. Then saying her knees hurt and Ken applies a specific product to her knees. At least mention beforehand that she is doing zumba, then show her doing zumba and then show the product. They did it the other way round and showed her doing zumba later in the story. For me, that was stupid.
Even at times the acting was not good and the production overall kind of seemed low budget. Even the ''villain'' character was weak and stupid.
Honestly, I stuck with it because of the main leads, Ace and Sky. They have a really awesome chemistry, and their kiss scenes were good. They were really cute together <3 Also, the messages were really great and the families supporting them was really nice to see.
All in all, it was not bad. I kind of expected more since it's my first Philippines BL drama, so maybe that's why I'm a bit disappointed. Anyway, just watch it for the leads and fast forward the annoying parts.
Loved it! <3 The story is interesting, hilarious and the leads are cute together. Even the plot with the missions and mind reading is really interesting and quite original. However, they must continue it as the story ended in the air and with a cliff hanger.
Loved Part 2 as well! <3 I loved it from the beginning till the end!
Although Part 2 got darker and more complicated, I loved it.
As I mentioned in Part 1, the story and characters are interesting and we see them evolve either into the right path or take the dark path. It makes sense, one thing leads to another and the story regarding the politics was really interesting and not boring at all.
I also loved the production, the osts, the costumes, the background, fighting scenes, loved the family drama, loved the focus on the royal family and its complications, etc.
Moreover, it makes me feel all kinds of emotions. I cried more in Part 2, got angry, felt sad, felt pain, etc. There were characters who I really did not want them to die, and I really cried a lot.
Anyway, Niaoniao and Huo Bu Yi finally reunited and are getting married. I wanted to see their marriage but anyway I'm glad everything turned out okay for them and Niaoniao's family ^_^
I can't believe I finished a drama this long and it feels like it was short. I don't know why they divided it into parts, but it's a great idea like this.
If I saw 56 episodes, I would have given up from watching it and seeing Part 1 into 27 episodes and Part 2 into 29, it helped me start watching this drama. Anyway, I loved the drama from the beginning so I would still have watched it all ^_^
I love this drama! I thought I would not like it and kept delaying watching it, but I got hooked from the beginning! The story and characters are interesting! The story makes sense, and one thing leads to another. Even the story regarding the politics is interesting.
I also love the production, the osts, the costumes, the background, fighting scenes, love the family drama, etc. Moreover, it makes me feel all kinds of emotions. I cry, laugh, get angry, sad, feel pain, feel pity, felt injustice, etc. It also gives great messages.
I'm off to continue part 2 ^_^ Niao Niao finally realises she likes Ling Bu Yi, so let's see what will happen next.
Loved it! :D The story is nothing new, original, or perfect, but I loved the blend between the romance and their work as lawyers. The main lead's chemistry, romance and kiss scenes were the best! They were so sweet, cute, and adorable together! <3 I loved them!
For the 2nd couple they were not bad, but not the best. They were still cute though. I enjoyed the story overall. Worth checking this drama out ^_^
Btw, I enjoyed the guest roles from different actors who appeared in other BL dramas. I enjoyed seeing them again :)
The story isn't anything new or original, but I enjoyed it ^_^ The leads are cute and adorable together <3 Also, it's light and a fast watch, worth checking it out :)
I enjoyed this drama overall and the leads end up do together in the end. However, the time-travelling concept was a bit confusing. I think anyone can interpret it as they wish.
My theory is like this. Shion is in World A, a 29-year-old woman in 2022 and she ripped the cursed photo of her, Soma and Mitsuki. She went back to the past in 2010 but in a different World B. She is Shion of World A and is 29 years old in her body of a 17-year-old.
So, when Soma of World B ripped the cursed photo of the 3 of them, the 3 of them went back in time and remember everything that happened in World B. I think that becomes World C.
So, I think that even if Shion went to a different world in the past, these worlds are still connected since the same people all exist in these different worlds but are somewhat still connected.
So, when Shion went back to World A, everything that happened felt like a dream or a deja-vu. This is because it happened in World B and C and since the worlds are somehow connected, the people in World A can kind of remember those events, even if these events did not exactly happen in World A.
Even as I write it down, I'm not sure that this makes sense, but I wanted to write down what I felt and what I understood.
Btw, my thoughts on what happened with the rejection. In World A, Shion confessed to Soma but rejected her since Mitsuki was pushing them to be together. Soma was annoyed with Mitsuki that she rejected him back in middle school and he did not want to do Mistsuki's bidding and probably he was not totally over Mitsuki.
Here Mitsuki was probably glad since she liked Soma. So, when 12 years passed, Mitsuki may have felt guilty and that is why she took Shion to a mixer and urged her to move on.
So, in World B, the 29-year-old Shion in her 17-year-old self suddenly became brighter and talked to Soma normally. This got Soma interested in her, he got to know her better and eventually he fell in love with her despite Mitsuki pushing them to be together. It's like he got over Mitsuki earlier on.
Soma may have been interested in Shion back in World A, but since Shion barely talked to him, he thought she hated him and he barely knew her, plus with Mitsuki pushing them to be together, Soma just rejected Shion.
We find out that he rejects girls like that to help them get over him quickly and find someone better than him. He especially does that with girls he barely knows.
So, Shion of World A scolds Soma of World B that he can scar a girl when he tells something hurtful. As she was hurt for 12 years. From here Soma of World B gets interested in her. This totally changes everything in World B as this never happened in World A. I think I'm understanding something and confusing myself lol.
Anyway, that is the beauty of time-travel and that's why I love it. It never makes any sense and people can interpret it as they like, so there are open discussions about it. I recommend this drama ^_^
The story wasn't bad, I quite liked it. But the main leads' chemistry and acting was not that good. They were cute but their love for each other felt fake and I had a hard time believing that they liked each other.
Maybe because it was short and some parts felt missing, but it could have been better. Anyway, not bad overall.
Loved it from the beginning till the end! This is a long drama, but I loved every minute of it! xD
I loved the whole stories presented in the drama and the beautiful messages that came with them. I mostly loved ongoing plot about the importance of women and that women can do the same thing as men if given the chance and given the chance to learn and harness their talents.
I loved the story about the different states and that even if people are different, they can work their ways to get along with each other. I loved the story of helping each other when in need.
I loved the story of women getting into a business and be able to support themselves, earn money for themselves and can be independent. I mostly loved the ending when women were getting selected as officials and not as concubines. I loved that the wrong doers got punished immediately and did not drag on for too long.
I also loved the couples, the brothers, the sismance and the sisterhood (their chemistry and vibe were honestly better than the couples), the politics, the acting, the production, the costumes, the background and the characters. I loved the whole production overall.
Honestly, this drama is nothing special if you think about it. It is mostly normal. However, the stories are really well written, the script is awesome, and the messages are awesome. Also, the comedy was on point, the plots were on point, blended well and one thing led to another. Even if I felt sad, in pain or in anger at same point of the drama, the story turned out all right in the end.
I really cried when Yin Zheng, the 6th Prince was forced the marry another woman. I wished it would not happen and then it happened. I really cried and felt sorry for Li Wei. I also felt sorry for the 6th Prince as he really wanted Li Wei to have the title of the main wife.
But honestly afterwards I took a liking to Yuan Ying. She made a nice addition to the cast, characters and to the story. It was a turning point to the story and really helped both Li Wei and the 6th Prince. It made the story interesting and it was like they got a strict elder sister or a strict mother-in-law ;P
You can say this drama is quite light and positive overall. It shows little violence and martial arts scenes and even deaths were quite minimal.
Even the ''villains'' were cut down immediately and the ''villains'' regretted their actions quite quickly from what I used to watch.
Like for me at least one of the main villains was the Crown Prince. For me he was immediately wiped out from the story when evidence was presented against him.
I honestly thought he would be more resistant and bring out soldiers to take his father from the throne. But he regretted his actions and left. It was quite surprising for me. I'm used to dark dramas lol.
I was also surprised when he did not kill his underling immediately. I'm like WTH? This guy is a reliability. He would return, get caught and confess against him. Then that what happens next and then he tries to kill him. I'm like WTH? Honestly, this part was a bit weak or if you take it in a positive way, the Crown Prince was not that mean and evil.
Anyway, I still loved this drama. It's good to see a light and positive historical Chinese drama at times and this one is quite awesome. Definitely watch this drama! :D
Loved it! It was short, interesting, and fast paced.
I loved the story, loved the cast, characters, chemistry of the leads, loved the hilarious moments and the sad moments.
I mostly loved the moments when the female lead is in the wrong character, and she is forced to follow the story. We see her criticizing the cliche plots of the typical damsel in distress female lead. It was true and hilarious xD
I loved it! Bai Lang and Jin Xun An were so cute, adorable, and sweet! <3 I really loved their chemistry and their stories.
For the side couples, I wish they showed us more. They were casted aside and we barely know about the characters, and we barely see them interact. I also vote to have a sequel on the other 2 couples.
totally agree with this comment, my thoughts exactly and it does become draggy in the middle of it, but I enjoyed…
I'm sorry I do not remember exactly. I think it was either on youtube or on dailymotion, but I cannot find them anywhere either. I think they were removed.
Finished! Honestly, it wasn't that bad. I did not have high expectations and I wanted to watch it because it looked interesting, and it looked like the stories were kind of dark.
I do like fluffy dramas, but lately my tastes changed, and I got tired watching the same BL fluffy dramas that basically follow the same formula. So, I was looking forward to watching this drama and seeing new things.
Ok so was the drama perfect? No. Was it messy? Yes. Honestly, it had complicated, messy and WTH moments. Also, there were actors who are not good at acting. I watched them before, did not like them there and still do not like them now. Of course, not all of them and some did improve.
However, the stories were a breath of fresh air, and we see of kind of happens behind the scenes of the BL dramas. Like the actors, the managers, the production, how they kiss up to the higher ups, how they kiss up to the fans, the obsession to be famous, the obsession of being constantly on social media, bullying, harassment, like invasion of privacy, idols and actors cannot date, being bound to a contract, revenge, hurting others, etc.
Of course, I'm assuming these stories are kind of more exaggerated. However, I cannot help wondering that these things do really happen, and I'm hope that no one goes through them.
Overall, I enjoyed watching all the 4 stories and other ongoing plots. There were messy, but I felt like there were closer to reality.
Of course, everyone likes happy endings and fluffy dramas do that, but reality is totally different. Thus, having dramas like these makes us remember, be more conscious and aware of what is out there and what is happening. Like in this case the BL Thai dramas and whole production behind it.
Also, it gives us more insight to those people like me who are not involved in any way and is only just a viewer and can only see the beauty and glamour of the entertainment world.
Anyway, I enjoyed this drama on the whole. I can say it's not for everyone. It's up to you whether to watch or not.
Also, at times it is a bit exaggerated and some characters really exaggerated a lot! Moreover, there were random scenes just to promote a product was bad. I know they had sponsors, and they need to promote them, but still make more of an effort to include them in the story.
