I enjoyed this drama overall. It had parts that I loved and parts I fast forward as they were too draggy and annoying.
I loved the plot of the comic world, we see the writer, aka the real world and we see the one who takes care of both worlds, but they do not know about him. I referred to him as the mediator.
The story was interesting in the beginning and loved these parts, but in the middle of the story, it got annoying and draggy. And this is considering that 24 episodes with 40 minutes each is short in a Chinese historical drama.
Like each time changing the product to sell got too draggy and Xia Yu Bing fighting with her sister Xia Lan. It's ok once or twice, but it was multiple times that it got old. Also, for Xue Mu, aka the villain, he was kind of weak.
However, it's not totally bad, it had good parts. I loved all the characters and it had hilarious moments (one that I loved was when Xu Zi Yan was going to get executed and they all came to stop it by piling on top of each other, that was really hilarious! xD). I loved the couples as well. They did not have the most amazing chemistry, but they were all cute together <3 They gave me teamwork / friendship / family vibes ^_^
I also loved the last few episodes of the drama. It was interesting to show us that when the writer stopped the story and was happens is that the characters will repeat the same day, until the writer continues the story or according to the mediator, they will die one by one.
For the ending, I like that it got a happy ending and Xia Yu Bing is healthy and is with Xu Zi Yan and they had a daughter. But what happened in those 5 years? And how did Xia Yu Bing get healthy again? It looked like that when she forgot her memories, it looked like she got resurrected again and restarted her life. For me, it's like it was left in the air and it's up to you to imagine it.
Anyway, this drama is not perfect, but it had good moments. Whether you want to watch or not, it's up to you.
The story was interesting and keeps you guessing about what will happen next till the end. I also loved the musical parts, it's been some time since I last watched a musical, so it came as a nice surprise ^_^ Also, it gave great messages :D
I loved the cast, characters, great acting, loved the magic, the music, background, and the whole production. I loved how it gave a family feel or friendship feel between the characters.
It may have been short, but for me the ending wrapped up nicely. Yes, some things you keep questioning, but I think it's up to the viewers imagination.
Finished! :D I really enjoyed watching it. I did not expect to like it this much ^_^
I enjoyed each case and how the exorcism takes place was interesting. It was hilarious, it was sad, it made me cry, made me smile, made me feel sorry, made me on edge, made me anxious, made me feel it was not fair to the ones who died, etc.
I loved the teamwork, friendship and family feel between Hong Ji Ah, Oh In Beom, Heo Ji Cheol and Joo Hwa Jung.
Very interesting article! I enjoyed reading it ^_^
A Chinese drama I'm remembering is Arsenal Military Academy. A kiss scene between the leads was banned. This is because the female lead was cross dressing as a guy and the kiss scene happened in a military place. So accrording to them it ''disrespected'' the military and it represented a homosexual relationship.
I love Chinese dramas, mostly their historical dramas, but these censorships make my blood boil.
Loved it! ^_^ The story wasn't anything new, in a typical college with typical students.
However, it was interesting that they focused on computer science students and collaborating with designer students. The fact that they focused on creating a game was for me that was kind of new. As at least in Thai drama BL, it always engineering students, medical students, architecture students or law students.
Also, despite the drama being short, the story made sense, one thing led to another and it ended by making us want more. The leads were really cute together <3 I loved their chemistry and kiss scenes <3
I did not expect to like it this much, I'm definitely going to read the webtoon ^_^
I really enjoyed it! It made me smile and it was cute :3
I enjoyed all the stories; they were all interesting and realistic in a hilarious way. Like it feels familiar like having crushes, then fantasize about your crush, dreaming about your crush, etc. I think anyone can go through this phase.
Of course, out of all the stories Ban Yu Ra and Kim Nam Ho's story was the best, as they had amazing chemistry, awesome kiss scenes and they ended up together. Plus, it's one the main reasons why I decided to watch this drama.
For the other 2 stories, I enjoyed them as well, even if the characters did not end up together. You can say life does not go as you imagine. Even if you do not gain a lover, you can gain a friend or gain enough experience to learn that whom you fall for is not always the person for you.
Even if your crush or love was one sided, that was yours and no one can take it from you. Of course, you can get hurt, but I believe that everything that is thrown is your path, is what helps you grow and learn.
This drama is not perfect, but I enjoyed it and made me think a lot. Anyway, it's a drama to enjoy, especially since it's short and you may have no idea what to watch next ^_^
Finished! Finally watched it after being on my PTW list for 7 years!
Honestly, I thought I wouldn't like it, but I enjoyed it ^_^
I loved the characters :D They were over the top, but really hilarious! xD
For the story, it got a bit draggy at one point, but I enjoyed the story about work they do for a magazine, I enjoyed the romance between the leads and loved the sismance between Kim Hye Jin and Min Ha Ri. You can say it was a really light and positive drama ^_^
For Kim Shin Hyuk, I wish they gave him a better ending. They just showed him returning to South Korea and reminiscing about his time with Kim Hye Jin. I don't know maybe they could have showed him bumping into a potential love interest, or him returning to work with Most magazine, or something else.
Anyway, I'm glad I finally got to watch it, with a happy ending :D
I loved it! :D It was kind of silly and had cheesy moments, but Fukuhara Kota and Shinomiya Naoya were so cute, fluffy and adorable together <3 Fukuhara Kota was really hilarious, he cracked me up when he switched to his real self xD
Finished! I really enjoyed watching this drama, it was better than I expected :D I randomly decided to watch it and I was not disappointed.
The story may not be original, new or had big plot twists as you can guess most of the time. But it made sense, one thing led to another, and it was enjoyable. I really loved the martial arts scenes. They were beautiful and really detailed. I also loved the teamwork and friendship between the whole characters. It did have slow and draggy moments, but I enjoyed the story ^_^
The couples. For the leads; Zhan Qing Hong and Lin Fang. Their romance was a bit stiff, but I liked how they complemented each other, I loved their teamwork and made up each other's weaknesses. For Xiao Lan and Huo Yang, they were so cute together <3 I shipped them immediately. I did want to see them married at the end though.
For Wen Rou and the General, I liked them together, but we barely saw anything.
For Princess Hua Yao and Wen You, I kind of wanted to see how Wen You eventually fell in love with the Princess or I don't know exactly if he did, after they got married. He did start to treat her well and focused on her after she got a cold, but they skipped to her being pregnant, and then he kissed her. I assumed that he fell in love with her at one point. I don't know. A tragedy that they both died at the end of the drama.
Honestly, I did not care for the romance that much in this drama. I really enjoyed the martial arts, especially when the female lead knows martial arts. I really enjoyed the part of the war, especially when Zhan Qing Hong made new friends / brothers / students.
A character I really enjoyed watching was Feng Bu Fei. He was between a villain and a good person; I could not hate him. He was hilarious as well. For the actor, I was really impressed. It's the first time I saw him in a drama, and he really impressed me. Looking forward to seeing him in more dramas.
I loved it from the beginning till the end! <3 It made me cry in every episode, it made me smile, laugh, sad, etc. It made me feel all kinds of emotions!
I loved the story, I loved all the cases, I loved that we got to know our main characters, what happened to them, how they are linked, etc. I loved the Risk Management's team, their chemistry, their teamwork, how they worked hard to save people, etc.
I loved the messages of this drama like that life is precious, life is hard, but we have these tiny stuff in our lives that makes us go forward and appreciate life. That we must be in other peoples' shoes, and even if we cannot fully understand their pain as we did not go through what they did, we must be compassionate.
Is it easy? Definitely not! Even I get wrapped up in my own stuff and think that my life is a disaster. But in reality, I forget the beauty of life, I forget the people in my life who make me smile, laugh, etc. I forget that work does makes me scream and curse the day I work there, but I must look for the good stuff. Moreover, my life has difficulties but someone else who is literally next to me has difficulties as well.
This drama has taught me a lot!
I recommend this drama! I randomly decided to watch this drama, thinking that the synopsis is interesting, but probably nothing out of the ordinary, but I got blown away!
Although, honestly at first I thought, it was a bit weird and the drama does have cringy moments. Moreover, Toh is basically a stalker with him taking photos of Nuea, following him and collecting objects Nuea touched. You can say it turned out all right, as Nuea fell in love with him.
However, putting that aside, I really enjoyed the story and all the couples. They were all cute together <3
I loved all the kiss scenes, their interactions, etc. I loved that we see different couples like gay couples, lesbian couple and a straight couple. I loved the parents as well. I loved how open-minded they were.
Also, it was interesting to see them in different uniforms than from we usually see. Although I wondered whether it was hot for them to wear, since their weather is usually hot and dry.
Finally finished! Not bad on the whole, but I prefer the original Korean drama version.
I did love the characters, the whole idea that women should study as well and the idea that women are able to be on par with men. I loved it when they showed what they studied in the academy, there were some interesting parts.
I liked the plot that there were some ministers who were corrupt, what happened in the past got some people killed and that the truth came out to light in the end. I also loved the acting, the costumes, the background, and the whole production.
However, overall the story had draggy parts and it could have been shorter. Like for example, why did we have to see multiple times Feng Chengjun and Lei Zexin fighting on how to sleep and how their beds should be positioned? It was funny at first, but they showed it too many times, that it got boring. That tells me that since the drama had been planned for 36 episodes, they had to put more fillers.
Also, the romance tag should be removed. Like Xue Wenxi and Feng Chengjun were cute, but we barely saw them together. Like they had more bromance than romance. I get that she was disguised as a guy from the beginning of the drama till the end, but Feng Chengjun did find out that Xue Wenxi, aka Wen Bin was a girl like 6 or 7 episodes before the drama ended, and there should have been something. It showed that they had no chemistry at all, and it like they continued being friends.
And no kiss scenes at all! The only 'kiss scene' if that was a kiss scene, was when she 'kissed' him on his cheek. As it looked like she did not even kiss him at all.
Anyway, it's not bad overall, but it's up to you whether to watch or not.
Ok, for the story, I was disappointed. I expected it to be more better than was shown. The story was full of BS, most of the time did not make sense, and it focused on the characters lying to each other, which made it ridiculous, cliche and made me roll my eyes of the time.
For me, the most interesting parts were about when the automotive engineering students were working on the prototype car model and in the bars Pentagon and Gemini, even though very little was shown. That showed me that their life consisted of other stuff than their dramatic love life.
Anyway, what I loved and one of the reasons I decided to watch this drama and continued it, were the kiss and love scenes. Those were amazing, hot, spicy, awesome, etc. They made me blush <3 <3 I love awesome kiss scenes, but please focus to make the story great as well.
For the couples, they were are cute together. For the acting, there were times it was a bit off and rigid, not all the actors, but some of them were.
For the ending, I loved it. It was cute, fluffy, and adorable <3 I loved all the guest roles of the past BL drama couples :D
To conclude, it's not bad on the whole. I expected the story to be better with the awesome kiss scenes, I had watched on YouTube from MV videos, so I had higher expectations.
I enjoyed this drama overall. It had parts that I loved and parts I fast forward as they were too draggy and annoying.
