I really enjoyed this drama overall. I loved the story, including all the side plots, as well as the acting, the couples, the characters, the families, the costumes, the fight scenes, the scenery, the music, and the production. The ending was especially satisfying, it was wrapped up well, and everyone got what they deserved, particularly the villains. That said, there were a few characters who deserved better and did not deserve to die.
I do think the drama would have been stronger if it had been shorter. The story itself was engaging and kept me watching, but there were quite a few draggy and filler moments. I ended up fast-forwarding through many scenes. To be fair, some of those scenes served as comic relief, which helped balance out the darker parts of the story, for example, the domestic violence plot, which was really upsetting to watch and riled me up.
Overall, I’m glad I watched this drama. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a long one, and even with its slow parts, I don’t regret it. The story makes sense and builds up naturally, with each event leading to the next. Best of all, it has a happy ending that ties everything together nicely.
I honestly enjoyed this drama overall. The story had some slow and draggy parts, but it was still interesting. Some of the deaths were shocking, and I really feel Tonkla didn’t deserve to die at all.
I had a feeling Thara would turn out to be the final villain. Honestly, her being the hidden mastermind made the story so much better. On the other hand, Nakan as the villain felt boring to me and made the story drag the longer it went on.
What I loved the most was the chemistry and acting between Joss and Fluke. They were so cute and adorable together <3
I’ve watched both of them in other dramas before, and while they weren’t bad, I wasn’t that impressed with their acting back then. But in this drama, they were so much better. Maybe it’s because they’re older now and have more experience, or maybe it’s because they were comfortable with each other, which made their characters feel more real.
They’ve now become one of my favorite ship couples, and I hope to see them again in more dramas with good stories ^_^
Where to start. If I compare this drama to the webtoon, I'm totally disappointed with the story. Yes, there were some similar scenes that I could remember and pick up, but for me this drama is totally different from the webtoon, with different character names, different period, etc. I loved the webtoon, and this adaptation totally did not do it justice.
Now, if I ignore the webtoon and take the drama on its own. It’s not bad overall. I love transmigration stories, so I loved the beginning of the drama. It was fun, cute, enjoyable and hilarious. Also, I loved the leads together. I also enjoyed the cast, characters, acting, costumes, background, etc.
However, as the story went along, it got predictable, boring and the usual power struggle that you find in historical Korean dramas. Somehow the middle of a Korean drama always ends up boring and this is a 12-episode drama, so it's supposed to be less draggy. I put in the x1.5 speed from episode 8 onwards, so I'll see it faster and end it quickly.
Now, in episode 11, it has gotten a bit interesting. We see the real Cha Seon Chaek is living in the modern world instead of Kim Mo Eum's life. They met face to face and together they decided that they would continue to live in each other's lives and bodies. I like that they both got to decide, as usually in transmigration stories, most of the time, we never know what happened to the original character and mysteriously disappear. For me, that never makes sense.
It was interesting with the boy who is a deity or a spiritual person, whatever (did not understand exactly what he was) and he helped and assisted both Cha Seon Chaek and Kim Mo Eum. Especially helped in getting the novel to end in a happy ending and as in the last episode, we do get it.
Overall, it’s not bad, it’s a fun drama. The decision is up to you. I suggest that you take it as another story, if you read the webtoon. If you did not, I think you’d enjoy the drama as it is. It’s not perfect, but it’s enjoyable.
Honestly, I hadn’t considered it from your perspective. You might be right, it can be a metaphor and maybe she will embrace her natural hair in the end.
But looking at the bigger picture, how often do we actually see lead female characters in Western or Eastern movies, series, or dramas with curly hair who truly embrace it by the end?
They exist, but in my 29 years of life, I’ve overwhelmingly seen the opposite. Whether on screen or in real life, curly hair is far more often fixed, straightened, or treated as a problem to solve rather than something to celebrate.
As you said, it’s nice to see different hair types, but from the trailer, it seemed to be against curls. In the end, you might be right, it could still turn out to be portrayed positively. I probably won’t see the movie myself, but if you do, maybe you can tell me about it and prove me wrong.
The story wasn't the best, but it was not bad. It had its cute moments.
Honestly, I got more invested in the story between Chae Da Hee and her mother. I also enjoyed the relationship between the friends, rather than the couple or potential couples. The romance was a bit bland.
I also wanted to know more about Jung Ha Jun, as we barely saw anything about him. Also, I think he had issues with his father, but we’ll never know for sure.
However, it's not bad overall. The good thing is that the drama has short episodes so it's quick to watch.
Why are we in 2025 and we still see some asian dramas or movies against curly hair? I know it's a youth, comedy story and a drama, but I find this insulting and gives the wrong messages.
As a curly hair girl myself, it took me years to love my hair. I was even insulted for it, because when I was still a child and a teen, I did not know how to take care of it, so of course it was frizzy. I used to put on a lot of gel, to try to make it more straight than curly.
Nowadays, thanks to many curly hair products, and many tutorials on youtube, I learned on how to take care of my curly hair. I'm not an expert by all means and my hair is not as pretty as those shown on youtube, but I love my hair now. So if you take care of it, it's going to be beautiful.
Anyway, that is my ranting. The movie looks nice and cute and I do like the actors. But the plot is questionable at least for me, so I'm probably not going to watch it.
I really enjoyed this drama ^_^ I loved all the different stories it told :D
From the synopsis, I initially thought it was about the lead characters being reincarnated and meeting in different time periods. But after reading some of the comments, I realized that the two actors play different characters in each episode. Some stories, like Story 3 (which made me cry a lot), even continue across multiple episodes.
The biggest plot twist—and one I absolutely didn’t expect—was that the leads are two BL actors. They’re a ship couple who are acting in different movies and playing different characters. In Story 4, we start to learn more about them and their real relationship (though Story 4 felt a bit all over the place). I'm glad they managed to work through their differences and get a happy ending ^_^
To help me remember, I made a list of the characters and stories: Story 1: Sun and Dol – Seeing your soulmate in the rain Story 2: Prin and First – Office story Story 3: Namping and X – Mechanic story (so sad!) Story 4: Sian and Blue – Guitar/music story Story 5: Pun and Roi-Inn – They’re the BL actors acting in the stories above
This drama is not bad overall. However, I expected more from it.
The story was questionable at times. Like the kidnapping in the beginning of the drama and then forcing Wang Zhan to take over the company with no explanation at all. I was like WTH? Yes, we got an explanation later, but that was too much.
Then near the end of the drama, Wang Zhan got stabbed but was saved by a bracelet. I literally do not know how a bracelet saves you from that. Maybe the guitar picks he put on the bracelet are sturdy? I don't know.
Also, the story was interesting when they showed a funeral company. It's a shame that they barely focused on that. We got bits and pieces.
And for the second leads, their jobs were nonexistent. If I understood correctly, Zhang Yi Qing was a wedding planner and Tu Jing He was an architect? Honestly, I do not remember. Like their story was a bit boring and chaotic, at least for me.
However, I did enjoy this drama overall, it's not bad. It had its good moments, and I enjoyed the romance. That was the point of this drama after all. I especially loved the lead couple together and I loved their kiss scenes and chemistry. The second leads were not my favourite, but they were not bad.
Whether to watch or not, it's up to you. It's a short drama, so it's a fast watch.
I loved it! :D It's not perfect and some parts of the story were rushed or skipped, but I loved the story. Also, for a short drama the production was good. Best of all, I loved the leads together. It's not a BL drama but it hints a lot for it, their chemistry was excellent. Plus, it's a happy ending. It's a shame it was short.
Yes, the acting of most actors was a disaster and the chemistry between the leads was not good (their kiss scenes were good though).
However, the story was not bad. I did not like how the story started, it was bad. But as the story got along, I warmed up to it. Or maybe I enjoyed Noah's sassy character, that's why I started to enjoy it :D
Considering, it's a short drama, it's not bad and it's a quick watch anyway.
I enjoyed this drama, but I wish it was longer and a bit more detailed. The story is too fast paced and feels incomplete. I get they end up together, but I feel like there should be more.
The only good thing about this short drama were the kiss scenes and I loved the chemistry between the leads. However, the story was ridiculous, draggy and full of cliches. All the logic was thrown out of the window.
I mostly enjoyed the story. The beginning was excellent, and it got me hooked. I always love an undercover or a hidden identity story. However, the story did get a bit draggy in the middle of it, but the story did pick up again. It helped that it was 12 episodes and not more.
I did not expect the gold to appear at Jung Hae Seong's house. I thought all the search for the gold was for nothing, but his father found it all those years ago. So, Seo Myeong Ju was right after all, and the gold did exist. And that Jung Hae Seong was somewhat related to him.
I also loved the cast, the actors, the family feel, friendships and the teamwork.
I also loved the mix of comedy, adventure, thriller, the action and serious side of the story. The mix went well in the story. Plus, I always love hero type stories which in this case is the character of Jung Hae Seong. He somewhat always saves the day, and I enjoyed that.
Mentioning this character, the actor playing Jung Hae Seong is an excellent and charismatic actor. I can say that he carried this drama. Yes, ok he's the lead and the story revolve around him, but he's done an excellent job :D I recommend this drama! ^_^

It's on netflix, so I believe it's for local and international audiences.
If you do not like my opinion, I cannot force you to agree. Everyone have different perspectives and opinions.
And what likes? Me, high on self-importance? That's my own opinion, and on my own experience.
