I love her! She's an awesome actress and she should get main roles! It's annoying that she always gets the "ugly" role when she's has natural looks. She is pretty and knows how to act!
Also, for the subtitles, sometimes they do not appear immediately. You need to reload the page until they appear. Mine worked after the 4th try. Enjoy ^_^
I love it :D It's better than I expected. It's hilarious, especially when Mark possesses Cin. I also love the characters. Although some of them act in an over exaggerated manner, it's for comedy, sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's too much, but it's ok in general.
Also, I love that they give us important life messages, like treasure your life, it's important to you and your loved ones. Although, it's kind of too much that people related to Mark's company all happen to want to die, but anyway it's one of the reason why Mark gets to possess Cin as well.
Moreover, I like Cin but she's too kind and nice. I get she wants to follow her religion's practices, etc. But you cannot be kind to the point to be bullied. Like she gets bullied at home, from her step-mother and step-sister, like Cinderella. She gets bullied from other people as well. Uhh, I hate her family, she is the only one who works and get the money + they wanted her to do house chores as well, what the heck! At least, now thanks to Mark she gets to work only.
On the other hand, Mark is the exact opposite of Cin. I love it when he stands up to her, but it does get too much to the point of getting her in trouble + he does not tell her everything what he did. I would get frustrated if people asked me something about what I did and I don't remember about it. Yeah, they would like think I'm crazy or sick or something like they think about Cin. Anyway, since Cin is too good, positive, nice and loves to meddle and help people, she wouldn't care about it. That's the good thing about this all.
For Cin and Mate, they aren't together yet, but they like each other. They are cute and adorable when they are together, but I don't feel that the actors have any chemistry at all, it's kind of stiff.
Also, as someone said below, it's good, enjoyable and funny lakorn, but there something missing in it. I don't know what exactly but it's not bad and I love it. However, at times it feels frustrating and draggy. Anyway, I haven't finished it yet, but I think it is worth a watch :)
Also, I mostly look forward to scenes between Mark and Cin. They are awesome when they help people, they have an awesome friendship, it's awesome when Mark helps Cin and when Cin helps Mark and it's hilarious when Mark possess Cin.
EDIT: Last episode near the end......
Cin and Mate are finally officially together. Gun finally got his karma and he got hit by a truck instead, he killed many people. For the other characters who did wrong as well got their karma as well, however they changed for the better, especially Cin's family. They finally accepted her and resolved all conflicts.
For Mark, I loved how he exchanged his time for Cin. Yeah well it was his fault in the first place since he possessed her many times, and he was killing her slowly. But he wasn't greedy. Also, he moved his cremation. The funeral speech was so beautiful and so sad. I cried in it.
Also, for Cin and Mark they became BFFs, it's a shame they didn't become friends before he died, I really loved their friendship :)
Also, other life messages I learned from this lakorn and in my own words: -Use your time well. -Use it to spend time with your family, friends and loved ones. -Also, it's ok to earn money and work for your family, but don't let it take control over your life to the point of missing events or things related to your family. It only happens once, and if you miss it, you lose it forever. -Also, I loved that we have 3 types of time: Past, Present, Future that Mark's father mentioned. Past = already experienced it and gone, Present = the right now and the Future = we don't know what will happen and we may regret it if we do not use our time well. So we need to use our present time well.
Ok, I'm feeling all philosophical now lol, I'll continue watching.......
EDIT 2: Finished!
Definitely worth a watch! It was hilarious to the end :D A light, positive lakorn and a happy ending ^_^ Ok, it has serious moments, but it was mostly comedy with lovable characters :D
The story is nothing special or new, it's the typical boss and secretary romance. It's the first time I see about a mobile company, although they barely mention it and we see little about the work they do in it.
However, I love it :D It's full of humour, great characters, great chemistry of both the main and seconds leads :D Also, great bromance and sismance :D
Also, I love that it's not the usual love triangle. It's a love triangle between Jung Gal Hee (secretary), Jung Gal Hee's version of Veronica Park and Do Min Ik (the boss). The main lead is torn between her real self and her fake self. I kind of felt sorry for the main lead but it's hilarious :D
Also, the main lead is a jerk, but as the story goes along you understand why he is like that. He has no proper family who love him, some people he trusted turned against him, the people at work also try to get rid of him and on top of it all, someone is trying to kill him or something. The guy who tried to kill him and now is his driver, works for someone, I don't know who yet.
Also, I could not get why he has a fish at work, and like why he tells his secretary to feed it even on weekends, but we get to see that his father gave it to him. It was sad when the fish died, but it was pretty hilarious when a vet or a fish expert or whatever tried to give him CPR.
He's got some trust issues, so it's probably going to be a big deal when he finds out that Jung Gal Hee acted as Veronica Park and used his illness against him.
For the main actress, she was wrong, but I cannot blame her. Like she got fired for nothing and she was afraid of getting fired again + wanted to get revenge in her own way and that's why she acted as Veronica Park. Also, she provides for her family so she needs the job. The problem was that the lie got too big and she fell in love with him, which makes it worse. Well, since it's a light drama, it will end well for sure.
I also love the second leads, they are cute together as well :D Also, the character Veronica Park is so memorable and hilarious. You hate her and love her at the same time, she cracks me up with her expressions, how she moves and acts and admire her confidence. However, we get to see her vulnerable side, and get to know why she does what she does, especially with guys.
Also, I love the scene where she hand cuff her hand with Ki Dae Joo's hand as a joke and then there was no key. She really did not do it on purpose and she started to panic and then had to go to the toilet. It was really hilarious, I laughed so hard xD
Anyway, I love it and I will continue watching.
EDIT: On episode 27......
The "villain" of the story got revealed and although I guessed who it was, I totally did not guess her motives. I was totally surprised that she actually helped those employees who did not get compensated when it was a company accident. Like she switched expensive paintings to fake ones and sold them to get money for them. So the "villain" turned out to be Robin Hood who stole from the rich to help the poor/weak people.
And she had good reasons as Ki Dae Joo's mother died because of a fish, she switched the expensive fish to a less expensive one (it's still expensive) and gave that money for Ki Dae Joo's tuition. I totally did not expect that the fish had a twist in this story. However, this is totally ridiculous, who will risk his life for a fish!!
Also, she still stole but she did it for a good reason, I love her! And the driver turns out that he did not want to hurt Do Min Ik. It's just everything turned out wrong.
Anyway, the true villain is Do Min Ik's uncle. He is a total jerk who does everything for his greed and uses any persons' weaknesses for his own advantage. I hope he gets what he deserves and gets revealed for his own sins. I don't think he has done nothing, he has something for sure.
At least Do Min Ik has a chance to become the president of the company, I hope he does, if he after all wants to become one. I think that he wants to become one to please his step-mother and to be accepted in her family, since he was born out of wedlock.
Moreover, I hope the main leads get together soon, as Do Min Ik hasn't forgiven Jung Gal Hee yet.
EDIT 2:
Finished! Loved it! :D The main leads are so cute and adorable together <3 And their kisses are good as well, they made me squeal with happiness <3 <3
I also loved the second lead couple, they're so cute as well :D
For the story aspect, I loved that Do Min Ik gave up the CEO position for Jung Gal Hee and the other people who got fired unfairly + yes he needs more time to get to know the company well + he send money for his ex-driver.
I think he has forgiven them, maybe not totally but at least he did it for Jung Gal Hee. Also, he got to see face again for a while and saw Jung Gal Hee ^_^ A happy ending :D
For his uncle, he deserved to be punished but the fact the did not get the CEO position makes it better + his step-mother is making some progress and has finally accepted Do Min Ik as her son.
I agree 100% with this article, all these that are mentioned are unrealistic and many times it annoys me.
However, taking the car scene for example, imagine we are seeing the character taking his time to find a parking space, getting out, locking the door, going towards the place he/she wants to go, etc.
In my opinion, that is boring and a waste of time on-screen. So, to gain time, the character just parks whatever he wants and gets to his destination quickly. Yes, it is unrealistic, but I think it's necessary to get the flow of the story ongoing and avoid people getting bored, at least that what I think.
mhmm......the main leads' kisses are not bad but nothing special. They are quite simple but sweet, I liked them :) Also, some of the kiss scenes are shown from the back or forehead kisses.
I have watched both versions and I loved them both. As someone commented below, you cannot compare them. Yeah, they follow the same follow story but they are different. And if you read the manga, it's has a totally different feel from both live-actions. Anyway, you should both versions a chance and great article :)
I love the Korean version, so that is the best version, but the Chinese version is good as well. I love the story, ok there are lots of scenes taken from the Korean version, but I did not mind seeing the same scenes. Also, I love the chemistry of the cast, they are all awesome + nice acting.
For the characters, I love Gao Xing, she's so positive, so radiant, does everything for her family, kind, helps others and a beautiful smile ^_^ She obviously looks as a woman, but the lack make-up on her, made her look like a flower boy, which was ok, I like her look :)
For Jiang Shang Wu, he is not bad when he is nice and sweet. But he has an on-off switch, where one moment he is nice and sweet, and then he turns a jerk and pushes Gao Xing away for stupid reasons. I'm like what the heck! And the main actress is more clueless than me.
He is more of a jerk and makes me want to slap him. Like in the story he is currently angry at her, because she is friends with his cousin and she did not tell him. That does not make any sense at all!
In the Korean version, he was angry at her because of her gender and like when he accepted to be gay, and be with her as a guy, she told him she's a woman. That's understandable, but in this version, they all know she is a woman from the beginning. As Jiang Shang Wu called her a tomboy most of the time, and that term is used for a woman who acts and wears like a guy. And if the translation was right, they all called her a she + a sister, etc.
That's what I did not like in this version. I wanted her to pass as a guy and everyone thinks she's a guy. That's what I loved the most in the original version and in the Chinese version I wanted to see that as well, but anyway, the Chinese version is good as well.
For the rest of the characters, they are ok and I like them. However, I don't get why the character Gang, the main barista for the coffee shop, the actor was changed. In the posters, when they show his back, or side shots, he was a different person. Even when they went picking plums, another actor was shown. It looks totally weird, and the scenes where this actor was talking or all the princes were shown together, he was cut. Then scenes where they needed or had to show him, were re shoot with a different actor. It was totally weird, fake and I hated it.
Also, I do not like the relationship between Jiang Shang Wu's cousin and the artist. They do not have any chemistry but aside from that, their relationship is so based on sand. Like the artist never told him that she left him 3 years ago because of his and her mother's agreement and his mother gave them money. And they guy who he thought, she left him for, I think he's gay as she did mention that he does not like girls. Plus, she left him again, uhh! I don't care if they end together or not.
Moreover, the dubbing was out of sync most of the time + it was more of out of sync when Gao Xing's sister sang a song. It was like she sang a different song and the actress who dubbed her sang another song, it was totally ugly.
I'll continue it and hopefully Jiang Shang Wu gets his senses soon.........
EDIT: on ep 34....
Well, the main leads resolved their misunderstandings and are now together. They are cute together ^_^
However, the story is getting too draggy and I fast forward lots of scenes that are useless.
And currently, the coffee shops of both cousins are competing each other, which makes the story more interesting + although I don't like coffee, it's interesting to learn more about it. In this version, they showed us more about coffee, they different types of coffee, how to make it, the techniques and skills needed, etc.
I'm rooting for Prince Coffee Lab to win, fighting!
EDIT 2: Finished!
Ok, Prince Coffee Lab won but I'm glad the cousins never fought each other, but kept supporting each other in everything, they are awesome :D Also, I loved their grandma and their whole family :)
Also, I loved the friendship between the princes, they all became a family, so cute ^_^ And a happy ending to all :D
Conclusion: I liked this version :D Although it had same scenes as the Korean version, it felt like it was new to me and I did not mind it. Also, it got draggy at one point but I'm glad I watched it :D It was worth the wait for the subs and definitely worth a watch :D
It was a very interesting, with a lot of twists drama. However, in the middle of it, the story got complicated and many things were going on + I tried to understand it and guess who is who, etc, that it made me irritated, annoyed, my head spin and I fast forwarded a lot of scenes.
However, when I got to episode 15, everything was explained + misunderstandings, hated, etc were all forgot and forgiven = I finally understood.
Although, in general I liked it and it was interesting + different from the usual k-dramas + awesome life messages, there was still something in it, that pushed me away from this drama. I don't know what exactly it was, maybe because I wasn't understanding what was happening, I don't know something about it, put me off. I usually love fantasy dramas, but this one put me off.
But, the rest of the drama was good. I loved the characters, the humour, the comedy and the acting, the relationships between the actors. The CGI was kind of bad, but not totally bad, and you get used to it, as you see the drama.
For the romance part, in the beginning I shipped people together, but at one point, I gave up since the story got complicated that I figured that it would not be the obvious characters who end up together. And I was right, the ones I thought would end up together didn't, so I did not end up that disappointed since I had no expectations.
Anyway, it's not that bad to watch this drama. Yeah, I did fast forward a lot of it, but I got curious and watched it all. And it's a light drama with a nice happy ending :)
LOTS OF SPOILERS:Finished! What the heck happened in the last episode!!!?They killed nearly all the characters…
Oh, I did not realise that it was the female lead's imagination. I did not understand it, thank you for clarifying it for me.
The ending really made no sense at all! I still feel frustrated when I think about how this drama ended, it had a lot of potential, to be ruined like this. Sorry, I'm venting my rage about it, thank you.
SPOILERS:currently watching....and on episode 43The story is not totally bad, but it's too draggy and long. It…
LOTS OF SPOILERS:
Finished!
What the heck happened in the last episode!!!?
They killed nearly all the characters like for nothing or to fill in the episode!
Also, Chen Yu should have died but at the end, he suddenly appeared alive and the 2 main leads have a "happy" ending.
A disappointing ending + a draggy story for nothing just for the story to end this way. It started light and hilarious but got turned into serious and tragic.
I don't know what to feel, I feel empty and betrayed. I did not even cry for the characters who died. I cried at Xiao Xia's death (Bu Qi's bodyguard) because she died to protect Bu Qi and it made sense, but the rest that died in the last episode died suddenly and for nothing. Ok the mysterious man / old man / Old Master deserved it.
Also, the whole thing about the treasures and saintess part remained in the air.
The story is not totally bad, but it's too draggy and long. It could have been shortened long ago and removed all those extra scenes. I did enjoy it, and there were many hilarious and serious moments that I enjoyed but it's too long. I did fast forward most of it.
However, I do like the characters, the acting of all actors both main, supporting and guest roles, the chemistry of the main leads, the chemistry of the whole cast, the martial art scenes, the costumes, the music, the dubbing and the rest of the whole production.
I liked many things, but the most important aspect, which is the story got ruined with many extra things.
Also, like how did Bu Qi found out she is the saintess of Bolutian now in like episode 43? She should have found out long ago. Her mother, uncle and her dog (it's was so cute) got killed long time ago + many other characters died as well + she got chased and did not know the reason until now.
Anyway, there are many frustrating things in the story.
However, I love Bu Qi, she may not be physically strong and does not know any martial arts or how to fight, but she has wit. She is also very clever, knows many things that are important for survival thanks to being a beggar, she is kind, she is just, helps those in need, she is fair, etc. Also, I love that she isn't perfect and has her own flaws, like she is a liar, steals, she is a kind of a swindler, etc but we know she does those things when pushed in a corner or wants to help herself or those who are close to her.
I'm basically watching for Bu Qi, the main leads + those characters who deserve to die, end up death or in some other misfortune + those characters who are pitiful or are good, have a happy ending + I'm hoping for a happy ending where Bu Qi and Yu Chen run away and live in peace + I'm curious how the story will turn in relation to Bolutian.
A good enough reason to watch and I will continue with fast forwarding scenes.
EDIT: on episode 46.....
Mo Ruo Fei finally got revealed that she is actually a woman. It was hinted in the beginning, when Bu Qi told her that she smelled nice than the other men. Hint 2: When she got hurt, they did not get the doctor but her mother went instead. Hint 3: Then, we see her excited about lipsticks and women clothes, which got me more suspicious.
However, since it was a long time ago, I thought that the actress was acting a male character. I'm glad she acted as a woman disguised as a guy to help her family = I guessed yay! She did it since there were no male heirs left and they always want men to continue a family, so annoying. She was a woman and proved to be a good fighter and business woman.
SPOILERS:currently watching and on episode 10......I like the story in general, but there is something missing…
SPOILERS:
Currently watching and in the middle of the last episode.....
A whole tragedy. I cried a lot and felt sorry for Princess Kate. In the end, she just wanted love and attention from her family and others. Maybe she wanted to be Queen not to rule, but to get love and attention.
It was revealed that her grandpa did not consider her as an heir because she suffered from a condition and if I understood her, being a Queen stresses her out and her condition appears again. Still her condition appeared because of other reasons.
I'm happy that Petra lived and it was a plan to capture Princess Kate. I was surprised, I did not guess this part at all.
But in the end, the plan turned out badly. The soldier Haedeth who lived, ended up dying as well after he went to find Kate and found out that she used him. I felt sorry for him as well, he got too blinded by love. Ok, you love but not to the point, you do bad things.
For Kate, I think in that moment she told her true feelings, the hurt she felt, the pain she went through and how invisible she felt, and then her family told her the facts and they love her became too overwhelming for her. Also, the guilt she felt was too much for her to bear so she chose to end her life. I cried a lot at that scene. I don't know what to feel for Kate, I hate her and then I feel sorry for her.
I should say that Kate should have expressed herself more, but I cannot blame her. I know how that feels like. Most of the time, I'm like her, I repress my feelings until I explode, ok not to the point of killing others. But, I hold back most of the time, feel hurt, have low self confidence and I feel like nobody loves me.
I'm not exactly like her, but similar and I have people who I know love me and tell me. She did not know because her family did not show it. Maybe, that's why she got my attention from the start. I talked about her a lot lol. I wished that she lived at least.
For Will, he did bad things, ok not to the point of murder, but still he should get what he deserves.
EDIT: Last episode at the end....
Will got chased away and wedding cancelled. Also, Alice does not have to be Queen and Alan became King instead of her. I think he will do a good job :D
For the leads, a torture to the end. Dawin left! If she did not become Queen + not a princess anymore isn't that = I want to be with you. He left and went to the island, where they officially met. And she went after him = a happy ending for the leads + they are finally together and a sweet kiss <3
For JC and Sergeant Han although they did not get officially together, there were sparks and we assume that they would get to know each other better and assume that they later on get together.
For King Alan and Sergeant Pan, she accepted to became his loyal guard. Although they did not end up together officially, they definitely like each other and we assume that later on they end up together.
It's name is 'Nice To Meet You.'
Also, for the subtitles, sometimes they do not appear immediately. You need to reload the page until they appear. Mine worked after the 4th try. Enjoy ^_^

Yes, it is unrealistic, but I think it's necessary to get the flow of the story ongoing and avoid people getting bored, at least that what I think.
Great article, waiting for the next one :)
currently watching....and on episode 27
The ending really made no sense at all! I still feel frustrated when I think about how this drama ended, it had a lot of potential, to be ruined like this. Sorry, I'm venting my rage about it, thank you.
Anyway, I'm glad I finished it and THE END!
currently watching....and on episode 43
The End!
