The leads are really cute, adorable and sweet <3 <3 I really love their interactions and their chemistry ^_^
However, the story and the plot is lacking and I am finding it boring.
The story did start interesting, with the main actor needing the main actress to sleep next to him, for him to be able to sleep and prepare for an important event related to piano. However, that plot did not take long and deviated from it completely. And lots of obstacles and annoying people in the way.
I am mostly fast forwarding scenes that I don't like or useless or draggy.
But one thing I find original in this drama and never seen it before are Mido's parents. Like her mother and father are really huge fans of Song Xi. Especially her mother is really obsessed with him, to the point that she remembers his birthday but forgets her own daughter's birthday. And also remembers to attend Song Xi's events.
At first, I thought that he is her child from someone else and she did not raise him. As Mido's mother kepts an album with his pictures and called him her child.
But then since the leads are so cute together, I assumed that he's not her real child, but Mido's mother is a huge fan. And later on, it was reveled that she is a fan.
The hilarious thing is that Mido found out in the beginning that Song Xi lives next to them and Mido did not know who he was, while her parents are his biggest fans and took them till episode 18 to find out. That part was really hilarious.
I'm still curious why Mido's mother is so obsessed with piano, music, etc and forces her daughter to get into music when Mido does not have talent for it. Maybe it will get revealed later on.
Anyway, on the whole, this drama is not bad. It's nothing special either. But, it is a good to watch it when you do not know what to watch, or want to watch something light, cute and fluffy.
EDIT: Finished!
It was a cute and light drama :) I love the main leads, they were so adorable and loved their kiss scenes <3 And a happy ending :)
As I said above, the plot and story were lacking, lots of questions were left unanswered and I did fast forwarding some scenes. However, it's not bad overall, a good drama to pass time and want to watch something light and sweet :)
If I compare it to Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat, it's not as amazing as Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat. I loved Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat more.
However, this lakorn is interesting on its own as well. It was interesting that I learned more about some more historical events that happened in Thailand. Also, I think it was the first time I saw a lakorn with lots of battles in it.
Moreover, I don't remember the dates but it's definitely more recent than Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat as some Inwa soldiers or commanders and even some thai people from Adoyaha have guns. I also learned lots lof things like that 'Thai' means free, I did not know that. Also, like a game called Kallabot.
Also, I liked the plot that revolved around the palace and the nobles, ok it wasn't the best ever, but I liked it. You get to see the dark side of the palace, the nobles, their power, corruption, the things they do, their greed, how they look down on poor people, commoners and the slaves, people who are patriotic and those who aren't, how they live, their culture, their way of life, etc. Anyway, it's the usual around historical dramas, especially when the palace in involved.
Also, I loved the main leads, they are cute together <3 Also, their interactions and how they tease each other is so adorable <3 The downside is that we barely see any romance, even up till now they are not officially together yet. But they definitely love each other. However, the point of this drama is not the romance but not the historical events that happened to Thailand in the past.
Moreover, I liked the parts of the main lead disguised as an Eunuch. It was the first time I saw the focus on Eunuchs in the palace, the work they do, etc and in this case they were foreigners, they were Turkish. It was different than usual, so for me it was interesting. I never saw a historical drama like this lakorn. As like in Korean and Chinese historical dramas, the Eunuchs are left in the background and were never foreigners.
For me, this lakorn isn't the best ever. Many times I put this lakorn on a short hold, as sometimes it annoyed me or many things were happening, people who did not deserve it died, etc and so I watched something else to take a break from it.
However, I still watched it all, with no fast forwarding, as I did not want to miss anything. But, it would have been better if it was shorter, there were many times in the story that were extra plots, especially in the palace parts. Also, it had many hilarious moments, sad and painful moments.
Anyway, I loved all the cast, they were all great actors. Also, I loved all the characters, they were important to the story :) And it took me some time to watch it, but I'm glad I did ^_^
Last 2 episodes left..........
EDIT: Finished!
The thai managed to take back their home in 7 months, that's really impressive. The new King is really good. I'm happy that they got their home back :)
Also, the main leads got together and got married :D Their wedding night was so hilarious :D And they are also so cute and adorable together ^_^
It is a sort of happy ending. It's sad that the thai people that were stolen away from their home and taken to another country, could not return back to their home. Also, the thai had to continue fighting for their country and continuous wars. However, there were many beneficial things as well. However, on a happier note, the traitors got what they deserved, mostly died and the concubine turned crazy.
Anyway, I liked the lakorn :) It's worth a watch ^_^
currently watching and on episode 10..... (7/11/19)
I like the characters and the main leads are cute together ^_^ Plus their kiss scenes are great :3
However, for the story, it is nothing special. Yeah, we have the supernatural plot where in this world, apart from the normal humans, exist also the espers, healers and the guardians.
This is supposed to be interesting, but for me it is boring and nothing special. Maybe it is because we don't know much information about the espers (people with super powers), healers and the guardians yet. Like I want to know what is the point of them, what do they do, etc. Anything about them.
Also, another plot, is that there is a guy who wants to get revenge for his brother's death and apparently the people involved are the main leads (esper and healer), the healers' father and the guardian. Even this part is not that interesting.
Anyway, the focus of the story I'm watching now are seeing the main actress as a designer + seeing the work environment and the main leads + other characters involved. Yeah, the leads are cute and the other characters contribute to it, but it makes the story as the usual and nothing special.
Anyway, I'm fast forwarding parts that are boring..........hopefully it gets better when they start to focus more on espers, healers, guardians, etc.
EDIT: Finished!
A sad ending. Well, a new character was introduced who was a healer and she died. I'm still kind of not sure, why this character was introduced almost near the end of the drama, and why was the point of them.
Then the main lead's sister died as well, I cried at that part. I kind of wished she lived. But then again, if Shuang Shuang saved her, she would die in return. At least, the leads reunited.
Also, I wished that they explored or explained more about espers, healers, etc. It was left in the air. The only thing they explained was the revenge part and what exactly happened when the house got burned and the leads being young were there.
Moreover, the confusing thing is the last bit of the ending. It showed the MIST company and a look-a-like of the main lead came to apply as a designer. And like the end. I'm like, what the heck! Maybe they want to continue it or I don't know.
Anyway, the end. The story is not totally bad, but lots of things are left unexplained and it's not that special. At least, the acting was good and I liked the cast and characters :) Also, I loved the chemistry of the main leads and their kisses ^_^
I did not know that they were in an idol group together. I only saw them act in dramas before and they are all great actors :D I'm off to listen to their music ^_^
currently watching and on episode 22...... (3/11/2019)
It's good, on the whole I like it :) It's hilarious and cracks me up :D Also, it does get serious moments, but they immediately switch it and manage to kill me with laughter each time xD Also, I love the chemistry of the main leads, they are kind of crazy but really cute and adorable together ^_^
However, it's not perfect. It does get really crazy and makes me lose some brain cells, as someone said in the comments below. Or it gets too over the top or exaggerated. But, I think that's the charm of this drama. It has to be crazy to get you to laugh and continue watching it.
I think if it was the same as usual, it would probably start to annoy me. However, yeah ok, we are getting a quadrilateral love, where lots of men love or obsessed with the main actress, but it's different.
Like Min Jae Hee is married with a bastard husband and he wanted to get a divorce. But the women he had affairs with, were all similar looking to Min Jae Hee, when she was younger. So he technically was obsessed with his wife's looks but he did not really love her, now that she got older and curvy.
Now since he got an idea that his wife is turning younger again (since he's not sure yet), he wants to be with her again or wants to be with her younger self, Min Ye Rin (an identity she made when she got younger as a 23 year old and currently a model).
Also, there is the fashion designer Seo Yi Do and also his brother the superstar Yun Min Suk who also love her or call it an obsession.
As Seo Yi Do got obsessed with Min Ye Rin (thin version) as she looked like his first love Min Jae Hee (curvy version). Well, Min Jae Hee is Min Ye Rin so he technically fell in love or obsessed with the same person.
For Yun Min Suk, I don't think he really loves her. I think it's more of an obsession or wants affection. I don't know, the two brothers are really both similar in that aspect + crazy.
Anyway, the romance part, makes you lose brain cells if you take if seriously. I'm kind of going with it and see what happens. After all, Min Jae Hee/Min Ye Rin loves Seo Yi Do for sure. For her husband, she wants to end it and hates him because he really hurt her. For Yun Min Suk, she likes him as his fan, or as her brother or as her son, as she really cares for him, the same way or in the same category as she cares for her daughter.
I love the relationship between the mother and daughter, they are so cute <3 I wish there are more scenes.
Also, I like the perfume plot, it's mostly one of the reasons I wanted to watch this drama. It's really interesting and I'm really curious who is that old man who gave her the perfume. Maybe he is her guardian angel. I don't know, maybe it will get revealed.
Also, Min Jae Hee/Min Ye Rin thinks that she will die when she finishes the perfume, because of the faded/torn label. But I don't think so, she will probably stop getting younger and thinner.
The old man probably wanted to help her from killing herself and live her live proudly and as she is. Also, since she had lots of regrets and missed her dream, the perfume gave her a chance to be younger and be a model as she always had dreamed of. Moreover, a chance to fall in love again = learn to love herself again.
Anyway, the three men (her husband, the fashion designer and the superstar) are all starting to suspect or suspect the identity of Min Jae Hee and Min Ye Rin. I'm curious about their reactions. For her husband, he will probably rejoice as he is obsessed with her younger self, I hope he doesn't do anything bad to her. For the other two, I don't know, I'll see in the coming episodes.
I'm mostly curious about Seo Yi Do's reaction, as he loves both Min Jae Hee (his first love and the curvy woman) and Min Ye Rin (the 23 year old thin woman). Yeah, she's the same person, but who knows how he will act if he finds out she's the same person. Maybe he will feel betrayed and develop another allergic reaction or maybe dumb folded and doesn't say anything, or happy that he woman he loved all these years loves him back or stupid and crazy that he fell in love with the same woman again.
Well, the story does make you lose brain cells, but it's not bad on the whole. I'll enjoy it as it is :)
EDIT: On episode 30.........
Ok, Seo Yi Do was a bit angry at first, but he accepted it quite quickly. His reaction was better than I expected and he accepted her as she is, yay ^_^
For Yun Min Suk, he didn't accept her true self, so conclusion he didn't actually love her. His reactions and had delusions that Min Ye Rin was actually young but turned older, means that he could not accept it.
For her husband, he deserves to go to jail and thank God that Seo Yi Do managed to save Min Jae Hee before her husband did something to her. Anyway, I'll call him ex-husband, as she finally divorced him. He also deserves to go to jail for stealing money from his company.
For her daughter, at first she was angry at her mother. But I think she will accept it.
For the story......I totally did not expect that Seo Yi Do created the perfume for Min Jae Hee like 20 years ago and he forgot it!
Well, he gave it to that old man when Seo Yi Do was in middle school.
If he is the same old man, as apparently when Min Jae Hee and the Mr Park, the secretary, went to visit him, he had dementia and the Paradise Postal Service did not exist anymore.
Anyway, I'm assuming that the old man delivered the perfume like 20 years later, when Min Jae Hee really needed it the most and was going to end her life. Also, I think it's the gem that made her younger, or maybe the liquid perfume + gem = made her 23 years old.
Last 2 episodes left........
EDIT 2: On episode 32.........
Her ex-husband got what he deserved and on the way to jail. Min Jae Hee and her daughter are ok :) Also, the fashion show went well and Min Jae Hee fulfilled her dream :D
For the old man, he borrowed the face of the old man, I kind of guessed :D And he is a kind of a guardian angel, he called it a system where they help people. He gave Min Jae Hee a second chance as apparently she died. For the perfume, since the postal service of the mortal world went out of business, he couldn't deliver it and was 20 years late.
Anyway, I wish that she remains as her true self, as after all she fulfilled her dream. And what's wrong with her true self? She is beautiful as she is. I hope they make it like that......
EDIT 3: Finished! :D
A year passed and I assume that it was Min Jae Hee who opened a clothes shop called Perfume. She wanted to stand proudly next to him ^_^
And she appeared before Seo Yi Do as her true self, yay :D
The end, I enjoyed this drama ^_^ I loved the message that we should love yourself as you are regardless of being thin or curvy.
At first, I thought the drama would be fat shaming, but it turned out that the message is that being as you are is ok, be proud of it and live your life to the fullest xD
Also, great acting and loved all the cast and characters :) Also, I liked the music :)
Ok, I'll shut up now and this drama is worth a watch ^_^
This drama is very light, hilarious and a historical drama with modern things added to it, like they mention English words, do modern things like a show where Bu Meng took a cucumber and acted like it is a microphone, mention traffic, mention roads, mention helmets, etc. It feels out of place, but it's very hilarious.
Moreover, I liked that it started with Bu Meng trying to avoid the King because she was afraid to die early, as according to the books she read, all favored concubines died early. It was hilarious and something new, as at least I never saw a historical drama, where a concubine avoids the King. Ok, it was kind of cliche and exaggerated, but I enjoyed it. The King and Bu Meng fought a lot and "hated" each other, but soon that turned to love quickly.
Also, I love the relationship between the 4 women, their friendship is really awesome :) Ok, I haven't finished it yet, but the drama was mostly based on the 4 friends and their everyday life in their palace, they gossip, they invent new things to do, mistakes they do, the unfair things they experience from other concubines, crazy and weird things they do, etc. It's mostly hilarious :D
Also, I like the relationship between the King and Bu Meng, they're really cute together ^_^ However, up till now, their scenes was quite lacking, as I barely saw any romance between them or they fight or have misunderstandings and we see less of them interacting.
Also, the dogs are very cute and adorable but also feel out of place in a historical drama.
Anyway, it's a type of drama where you don't take it seriously and it is just for you to enjoy it as it is. To be honest, there were moments that annoyed me and were there to fill in the story or things are happening and wondering why they are showing us this. I just fast forwarded those parts.
Even the fact that the King has many concubines, annoys me. But anyway, that's how the real kings in the past did. Also, the fact that the loves only Bu Meng, respects her, gives her space, was going to let her go when she wanted to leave and then she came back, does not go to the other women, etc, makes me forget that he has a harem full of women.
Moreover, he uses the harem to protect women, ok not all of them, but like Noble Lady Xiao he took her in when she and her father were in battle, her father died and she was left alone and he took her in. The King also said that he took women in to keep the men in his council who are ministers quiet or made them happy they taking one of their daughters as a concubine.
I see this drama fit for those people who hate historical dramas. Yes ok, this one is based on the past; but the characters, how they act, the language and the feel of the drama is modern. That's what makes this drama unique, interesting and original :) I mostly see modern things in a historical drama, where a characters time travels from the present to the past.
Ok, it's far from perfect, it has many flaws, stupid and annoying moments; but as I said, don't take it seriously and enjoy it how it is :)
I'll continue watching.......
EDIT: Finished!
The last 6 episodes were mostly fillers and seeing what happens in the everyday life of the 4 friends in the palace and other people involved around them.
The weird thing is that the scholar and the King's half sister were apparently in love with each other and got together quickly. Then, the ending of this drama is the King and Bu Meng hugging and happy that they are together. It's a nice ending, but feels kind of lacking. Anyway, I'll take it as it is = The end.
Loved the article :) I never watched this actor before, as the dramas he appeared in, I did not watch them. I will definitely watch him in The Tale of Nokdu though, he looks gorgeous as a woman ^_^
SPOILERS:currently watching and on ep 23........ (24/10/19)General note:I like it :) It's a cute and light story.…
SPOILERS:
On episode 31....... (25/10/19)
The plot is getting more draggy and ridiculous. And it is focusing on the romance aspect. I'm doing lots of fast forwarding now.
For a moment, I thought yay! the leads are together. And then because of Bo Hai's trauma and he was scared to save Ling Ling Qi from the fire, he decided to reject her. I'm like uhhh!!!!!
Then the secretary of Bo Hai's finally decided to confess to the female director Yan Yan, after he obviously loved her from the beginning of the drama and never told her until now. Ok, after many things he did to get her to love him and got help from Ling Ling Qi and Lu Bao Ni, Yan Yan and the secretary got together. Ok, so that is one couple I shipped, who ended up together. However, this was obviously done to fill in the story and make it more draggy uhhh!!!! Like, he could have pursued her earlier.
Anyway, for Mo Nan and Bo Hai, they are somewhat connected and Mo Nan wants to get revenge for his father's death. I don't know why he is blaming Bo Hai though. I think the William guy is involved. Their mother apparently ran away and she coldly left the young Bo Hai in the fire.
Btw, Lu Bao Ni found out Mo Nan's true identity and she seems like she is covering for him.
I hope I get this drama over with as it seems never ending and I have 17 episodes left, uhhh............and I don't think I will see much more of the dreams >_<
And the story is focusing on too many things, that it is turning ridiculous, annoying, boring and ruining it. I'll just look forward to the leads getting together officially and what pops up next, I'll fast forward it.
EDIT: Finally finished it!!! (26/10/19)
With the revenge plot, the story turned more ridiculous and more draggy than it already was. It was actually William who killed Mo Nan's father and Bo Hai' mother died because of him as well. He did not kill her directly, but she ended up crashing in the sea because of him.
Mo Nan then decided to pay for his sins and repent by helping Bo Hai and others get FlowerPlus back. Mo Nan confessed that he played dirty and that put the bankruptcy on hold and a chance for the company to revive. That ended well.
I wished for Lu Bao Ni to end up with Mo Nan. Well, maybe someday Mo Nan will fall in love with her and she will continue being his friend.
Well, the good parts are that the leads got together officially at one point, although there were lots of misunderstandings, they wanted to protect each other by leaving each other and anyways lots of drama. At least, they were cute together and had good chemistry.
The last episode, near the end, I don't know what happened. Like William hit Bo Hai with his car on purpose and Bo Hai was taken to the hospital, lots of blood and Ling Ling Qi crying. Then, next we see Ling Ling Qi sad and the way she is and talking, I assumed that Bo Hai died. Then we see the secretary and the director with a baby and I assumed like about a year passed. Then, Ling Ling Qi went to find Bo Hai in a flower shop and was crying and happy to see him. It was revealed that Bo Hai was in Europe and decided to come back and formally asked Ling Ling Qi to marry him. The end and happy ever after.
I'm like, WTF!!!! What happened? !!! I don't even want to bother theorizing about what happened. They wanted to give us a happy ending and they did = THE END. Finally it's over!!!
Uhh, the drama started so well, but it turned utterly stupid, annoying, draggy, stupid and lots of sub-plots and things happening that are not important or you ask why this is in this drama for all the sake to fill in the 48 episodes. I don't even know why this drama was this long, it could have been over in like 20 episodes.
I don't know if it's was worth it to watch or not. I feel like furious and then empty and then whatever I don't care and then happy that it's over.
currently watching and on ep 23........ (24/10/19)
General note:
I like it :) It's a cute and light story. The story is nothing special, and revolves around mostly flowers and office work hours. Also, the most interesting part is the dream aspect, where the leads meet in Bo Hai's dream. We also see the romance aspects, the leads are really cute and adorable together <3
More details of the story:
I like the parts where they make bouquets, they were really beautiful. However, they should make give more explanations. Like where they explain the viewers (me) how they make them, how they combine the colours of the flowers , the language of flowers, how they come up with different designs, how they satisfy customers, etc.
Like, to give an example, there was an episode where Bo Hai took part in an international flower making competition, because he wanted to collaborate with a customer and this customer told him and he would choose the one who competes and wins in this competition.
Ok, so Bo Hai has a colour blind problem and it is triggered when he sees fires and is reminded of his past. Since he couldn't see colours, he decided to choose random ones for the final competition.
The florists and people who work in FlowerPlus company were shocked that Bo Hai choose vibrant colours and said that the colours do not go well with each other. I'm like what's wrong with them, they were beautiful colours.
So, my point is that the drama should have shown us, the viewers some background knowledge on flowers. In my opinion, that would have been interesting, as I have no idea about flowers and how to take care of them.
The most interesting and awesome thing is the dream aspect. I love this part and it is mostly why I decided to watch this drama.
I love how the female lead helps Bo Hai in the dream. And then thanks to her, Bo Hai comes up with solutions to his work problems, since his dreams represent the worries in his work.
However, as the story goes along, these dream parts are getting less and I hope they would not cut them out.
Also, I'm enjoying the parts about the leads. They are very cute and adorable ^_^ The female lead is hilarious and I hope she makes an awesome florist. For the male lead, I hope he gets to his senses soon and realizes that he likes the female lead. For the female lead, she showed him and told him that she likes him many times. So, if something goes wrong between them, it would definitely be Bo Hai's fault, as he is slow as a turtle.
Also, there is the other plot about Mo Nan. I don't know how that will end up. He is a spy and was sent to FlowerPlus to destroy it.
One = he likes the female lead, Ling Ling Qi.
Two = Ling Ling Qi's friend Lu Bao Ni likes Mo Nan (I have a feeling that the relationship with the 2 very best friends will end up in a disaster).
Three = Ling Ling Qi likes Bo Hai and Mo Nan knows it, but he seems determined to be his. Ok, he hasn't said anything specifically, but one moment he was avoiding her and the next he decided to face her, aka face his feelings for her.
Four = the moment Mo Nan gets revealed as the spy, the relationship between the three friends gets destroyed as well.
Five = this story will turn to a draggy and into a melodrama and annoying.
Anyway, I'll see what happens next, as already the story is getting draggy, with useless filler episodes. And I'm already fast forwarding some parts of the episodes. This story would have turned better shorter, I know for sure since it's already annoying me and the draggy feeling is there.
It was a very cute, light and hilarious drama ^_^ It gives you good feelings and makes you happy and smile a lot :3
The daydreaming parts were so hilarious, I would be embarrassed too, if someone reads my thoughts.
I really liked Hirano's character. She has a beautiful mind, innocent and kind :) Anyone would get close to her if you read her mind and get to know her well.
It was sad that she ran away on their wedding day. Well, firstly it was too fast. Secondly, I understand how painful it would be to hide away your thoughts. I like to think a lot before I answer or prefer to think and don't talk.
However, she accepted it and decided to face it head on together with Kodai Mitsumasa. And they will live happy ever after <3 It was like watching a fairy tale, so cute ^_^
I really liked it :D The story isn't special or original and has some of the usual cliches, but I liked it :)
My main interest in this drama, was that the leads have their genders swapped, that was why I wanted to watch it.
I really enjoyed the leads interactions, they were really hilarious, good chemistry and so cute together ^_^
I really hope season 2 gets subbed soon, as the leads parted on bad terms and it ended kind of sad.
The good thing is that even though the female prince remembered her memories with Xe Qing Yun, she still likes Su Yu (male princess). That's how it looked like, but she still cares deeply for Xe Qing Yun. Well, they grew up together and she does care about him.
Yeah ok, it's sad what happened to the female prince and Xe Qing Yun. They were separated because the emperor wanted a son and changed his daughter into one. And they removed her memories of Xe Qing Yun to force her to act as a man and take over the throne.
However, I want Su Yu and her to end up together. Well technically they're already married, so if second season gets subbed, I hope the leads gets together officially with their true genders.
currently watching and on episode 6...... (19/10/2019)
It's really interesting, I like that we get to see a more detailed process about how exorcism works. Also, I like that priests are the main actors. And in this drama, the demons or I don't know if it is the same demon, are more creepier, more cruel and interesting.
However, honestly comparing it to 'The Guest', there is something missing and 'The Guest' was more interesting and got my attention and interest immediately. Also, I watched it really fast. And even the team of 'The Guest' had better chemistry and teamwork together.
But, this one, there is something that is putting me off and I'm pausing it many times before continuing watching it.
Maybe it's the character of the female doctor, where she acts stupid in situations that are critical. Like when the priests where doing exorcism on the child Woo Joo. She went in and ruined everything.
Ok, I get that she doesn't believe, but seriously who doesn't know about exorcism nowadays and not everything is logical. I don't know or she totally did not believe and thought it was a cult or something. However, leave this aside, and assume that she didn't know about exorcism and anything since it was still in the beginning of the story.
However, like in episode 6, the female doctor, Ham Eun Ho just let the demon kill the female detective when the female detective came to save her. Ham Eun Ho clearly had holy water and then used it when the demon was about to kiss her. I'm like seriously!!!!??? Couldn't she used it, to at least attempt to save the female detective?
I really liked the female detective and was hoping that she would join the team if the detective Gu Do Kyun was going to retire soon. Or just join the team in some way. But they had to go and kill her! Uhh, that annoyed me.
Also, the priest Oh Soo Min / Michael seems to like the female doctor Ham Eun Ho. I hope they won't be together.
Ok, for me it looks weird if they end up together, since I'm a Roman Catholic and priests can't be in a relationship or have a family. And the priests here seems to be Roman Catholic Priests since they mentioned the Pope and Bishops.
However, I can understand if priest Oh Soo Min / Michael likes someone. This is because he probably became a priest to do exorcism since his mother was once possessed and got killed because of a demon. He probably didn't have the calling to become a priest or that's what they say anyway.
However, in this case, I hope they won't be together because I cannot feel like they have chemistry and they do not look cute together in any way.
Also, another thing, the priest Oh Soo Min / Michael and the female doctor Ham Eun Ho seem to be connected in some way, or know each other from the past or forgot some important memories. Also, there is a mystery why demons happen to appear near the female doctor Ham Eun Ho. Also, there is some connection with Venezuela. Let's hope something gets revealed soon since they are kind of dragging it.
Moreover, maybe it's how the direction of the story is going, that is annoying me or making me lose interest. Or maybe all these things I mentioned combined together that are annoying me.
Anyway, I'll have hope that something interesting pops up soon or will be worth it me seeing the story this far. Since it feels like I'm watching this drama for no reason at all.
EDIT: On episode 8......
The priest Moon Ki Sun / Peter died as well and sacrificed his life to seal the demon. That was so sad and scary. This drama is really intense and killing off a main character. What will happen now that the sister appeared? And why were they rushing to seal the demon before the sister arrived?
Anyway, everything is connected to 8 years ago when the demon that was sealed in the box was released. And why did the priest Moon Ki Sun / Peter release the demon in the first place? Lots of things are still a mystery, we'll see what happens next........
EDIT 2: Currently in the middle of ep 12...... (20/10/2019)
Ok so the priest Oh Soo Min / Michael and the female doctor Ham Eun Ho apparently were together 8 years ago. And since the doctor Ham Eun Ho became possessed the priest Oh Soo Min / Michael offered to become a priest to protect the doctor and lock the released demon. Anyway, the priest Oh Soo Min / Michael decided to make his and the doctor Ham Eun Ho's memories disappear to make their lives easier.
And it's kind of awkward and weird on what to do now. The doctor Ham Eun Ho was going to go to Venezuela but decided against it because of the priest Oh Soo Min / Michael. However, he has to lead the 634 Regina and also get the mother pearl box since it was stolen and the demon can be released again = the priest Moon Ki Sun / Peter death would have been for nothing. Thus, they have to wait to be together again and the priest Oh Soo Min / Michael cannot be a priest anymore anyway since he loves Ham Eun Ho and of their past.
And what the heck!!!! Everyone is dying. Now even Jung Yong Pil died too because he was controlled as a puppet by a priest of the demons. The story is turning more hopeless and confusing.
The priest Oh Soo Min / Michael did chase after the one who stabbed the Sister and apparently it was his mother. It cannot be because she died when the demon inside of her killed her by jumping out of the window. Or the demon took the appearance of the priest Oh Soo Min / Michael's mother to confuse him.
I don't know what is happening anymore......I'm just fast forwarding to get this drama over with.
EDIT 3: End of ep 12......
0___0 What the heck!!! It turned out to be a long dream and from where Mi Soo got possessed. I don't know what to think!
On one hand, I'm glad that the female cop, the priest Moon Ki Sun / Peter and Jung Yong Pil are still alive. However, the rest that we got to know and saw are not real. I think anyway. I don't know what is real or fake anymore. What the heck! That's a really big twist.
So I'm assuming the demon got vanquished for real now. As the demon shouted no when the priest Oh Soo Min / Michael stabbed himself. It's like he won over the devil.
EDIT 4: Finished! (21/10/19)
After a long ride, the demon finally got defeated after the priest Oh Soo Min / Michael became a demon worshiper and found out its name. It's a shame the priest forgot his memories but it's better this way.
I was kind of expecting the priest and the doctor to not end up together and also I did not want them to. Also, the priest is too invested in exorcism to leave it anyway.
So I like how it ended. It's also nice that the doctor joined them as well :D Well, after an intense and 'hope was almost lost' drama, it ended well and that good always wins :D
It was not bad in general. The acting was awesome and the exorcism parts were awesome and had lots of details.
However, with the priest Oh Soo Min / Michael being in the dream of the demon and that took like 7 to 8 episodes was too long.
Ok, it kind of made sense since one probably cannot get out immediately and the demon found out so he toyed with the priest. But at the same time, I got so invested in the story, main characters dying, trying to understand the parts between the priest and the doctor, etc; that when it turned out to be a dream, I felt empty and it felt like ridiculous. Maybe that was the point of it, that the priest was toyed and the viewers get toyed with as well.
Still, I don't regret watching it. It was the first time I see a drama like this, so it's kind of original in that aspect. I will give it a 7/10, but worth a watch.
Can I find it in English subs please? Thank you ^_^ Great article btw :D
currently watching.......and on ep 18
However, it's not bad overall, a good drama to pass time and want to watch something light and sweet :)
currently watching and on ep 15.......
At least, the acting was good and I liked the cast and characters :) Also, I loved the chemistry of the main leads and their kisses ^_^
currently watching and on episode 22......
Ok, I'll shut up now and this drama is worth a watch ^_^
currently watching......and on episode 30
THE END.
currently watching and on ep 23........
Worth a watch :D
