Like in the first season, the effects were awesome and it was realistic. It was really like people wearing costumes and masks, but instead they were puppets. Even the movements of the puppets, like their eyes, mouth, arms and legs, etc were awesome and realistic + martial art scenes were awesome :D
I also loved the costumes of the puppets, their hair, the drops of sweat was realistic + the background scenes like the river, villages, etc. Even the music was good :D It also had magic elements to it and it was done very well :D
For the story, it was good as well. However, I liked the story more in the first season.
Here, I was kind of losing interest as the story was involved about the 35 swords that are in the scroll and how many villains are after it and we only got to see about 2 swords and people / puppets dying for nothing.
For the princess of cruelty, I really wanted her to live. She decided to go on the right path and bam she died, uhh!!
I don't know, at times, it was interesting and at times I got bored, but on the whole it was not bad.
Btw, the monk getting obsessed with the sword called Seven Blasphemous Deaths kind of reminded me with Lord of the Rings. Not exactly, but it's kind of similar.
I loved the last episode, it was an awesome double twist + idea :D
I mostly loved the episodes from the beginning of the drama, where the male lead acted as a woman. It was really awesome and hilarious.
The male lead was really beautiful as a woman and he was convincing, in the sense that he looked like a woman and acted like a woman. He was beautiful as a woman and handsome as a man as well <3
I also loved the widow's village. I loved how all the women were gathered there, lived together, protected each other, worked together, had fun together, etc.
I really cried when the village was burned down. I really did not expect Lord Yu Mul or should I say Grand Prince to be so cruel and kill innocent women who just wanted to live in peace.
Btw, I also loved in this drama, the presence of women. It was awesome to see women assassins, ok they tried to kill the male lead. However, we rarely see women assassins in historical dramas and it was nice to see that. And now some of them are helping the male lead and are on the good side.
Currently the story is so serious and sad. It is the political side now, where the Grand Prince is planning on removing the current King and become a King himself. This part of the story is nothing new, but I really want to know how it will end.
The current King who is Nok Du's father is evil, has done many bad things, killed many innocent people and even killed one of his own friends.
However, if the Grand Prince becomes the King instead, I think the situation will turn worse.
I kind of pity the current King, as he is a sad, coward, scared and crazy man. But at the same time I hate him. I hate his reason for attempting to kill his own son.
The reason? The current King was scared that his son will take the throne instead of him, as a shaman told him that his son will take his throne.
What the heck? Ok, the current King has his own issues, as apparently his father casted him away, was the black sheep of the royal family and his father did not want him to become King.
However, he should not protect the throne at the expense of his son! Your own son should be more precious!! Also, why is he scared that his son will take his throne? His son will eventually, as he will definitely grow old and die someday. What did he think? That he is immortal or something? Or maybe he was scared that his son will take his throne and kill him. I don't know, he's a crazy man.
Nok Du was really worried for the current King and cared for him, especially when he found out the current King was his father. Nok Du even felt sorry for him. But after Nok Du heard his own father, aka the King, wants to kill him, I don't know what he will do. I don't think he will kill his own father, but we'll see what he will do.
For Dong Joo, she is pitiful as well. The current King killed her own family because of a treason. It's probably a stupid reason.
Anyway, she lived her life, wanting to take revenge and kill the current King. But now, who knows what she will do. Afterall, she talked, laughed and spent time with the King. Ok, she did not know who he was, but still, it makes you doubt and I don't think she will kill him. And now she found out that Nok Du is his son as well.
Anyway, I'm hoping the main leads end up together whatever happens and have a happy ending. They are really cute together and they both deserve happiness as they both suffered a lot in their lives.
Also, I kind of don't want Nok Du to become King. No doubt he would make a great King as he will definitely help other people and those in need. As he himself was poor and knows how hard life is. However, he should stay away from the throne and politics. It will make him unhappy for sure.
Also, I hope the Grand Prince does not succeed in his plan and become King.
We'll see what happens.......
EDIT: Finished! :D
I love that the leads managed to reunite and also the other characters like the widows, the women assassins, Nok Du's father, brother, his master and his daughter live together, are happy and support each other ^_^
I really loved their wedding :D It was simple and hilarious as their wedding day was really windy and kept making their stuff fall. However, their wedding day may have had some issues, but the most important is that they are together.
Also, like Dong Joo said, they will not only have good moments, but also bad ones and may meet mishap or fight, etc, but as long as they are together, they will get through it and live happily :D It's the first time I see an imperfect wedding in a korean drama, but I loved it :D
Also, the king, aka Nok Du's real father got what he deserved. And the royal who was supposed to take over his throne was the Grand Prince as he was also born on the 19th November as the shaman said. I totally did not expect that. I kind of forgot about the prophecy.
However, the King thought it was his son who would take over his throne but it was actually the Grand Prince. So, the King tried to kill his son twice, did many bad things, killed innocent people and lived lonely for nothing.
For the Grand Prince, I kind of wished he would not become King but anyway he will probably live like the ex-King; living in fear, lonely, not trusting anyone, etc.
For the Queen, Nok Du's mother, she got meet her son again after 9 years :D I'm happy for the mother and son, for the main leads and the others. A happy ending ^_^
I really loved it :D I did not fast forward any episode, I enjoyed the story although it's nothing original or out of the ordinary, I enjoyed the acting, I loved the cast and characters, I loved the chemistry between the leads and even the chemistry of the whole cast and I loved the music xD
Also, I loved the message that living a simple life, with nothing grand, but just enough to live + also have people you love next to you, is enough to make you happy :D
SPOILERS:currently watching and on episode 32........ (4/1/2020)Ok, in general I love it. It's hilarious and I…
SPOILERS:
On episode 58...... (6/1/2020)
Nearly the end.
I was right, the Xia country started the war and I'm glad the Song country is winning. I was sad when all those soldiers died for nothing because of the lack of teamwork between Fox and Ye Zhao's uncle. In a way, it's his fault as Fox did propose a better strategy.
Anyway, it was awesome how Fox and the other alive soldiers were able to infiltrate into Xia country by disguising themselves as the Prince Qi's messengers. It was a smart move and enjoyed how Fox was able to turn them against each other.
I loved it when Zhao Yu Jin asked the Emperor to put his wife back as a general. It must have been hard for him.
It was a shame that Ye Zhao ended up pregnant when she went back as a general and was in mist of a war. It was kind of obvious that they would make it like that and guessed immediately.
Also, I love how Zhao Yu Jin is taking care of Ye Zhao and did anything to help her. He came at the right moment when she was going to kill her baby, I felt relieved.
It was hilarious when Zhao Yu Jin asked one of the sisters, Qiu Shui to pretend to be pregnant. He did it in order to protect his wife and also prevent the news from spreading and prevent the Xia country to attack again.
But then when he blamed it on Fox for making her pregnant, it was really hilarious :D It was all of a sudden, Fox and Qiu Shui ended up married. But anyway, I wanted Qiu Shui to get a happy ending and Fox seems to appreciate her now.
Meanwhile, I don't like Ye Zhao' cousin, but she's really a good spy and hero. Ok, to be fair, she turned evil because she found out that her beloved cousin was a woman and she was set to marry Ye Zhao and so she turned crazy. However, it's thanks to her information that the Song country were able to fight against them and know their every move. I wish she gets a happy ending at least.
For the traitors of the Song country finally got revealed and imprisoned. And all the truth came to light. It was a shame for all those innocent people who got killed for nothing, like the adopted daughter of Minister Han. I liked her but she died too quickly.
Also, I loved the story in general. Yeah, ok it got draggy, too long and I fast forwarded a lot. But I liked that the story had sequence, was in order and made sense.
As usual, Chinese historical dramas tend to give us a surprise, or a weird twist or something too shocking or doesn't make sense to the particular story and ruin the whole story.
So this one may be long, but everything made sense and we see characters grow like Zhao Yu Jin, he really changed a lot and turned a better person.
Also, I loved all the characters. There were many characters but they were all put well in the story and each one had a purpose and made sense.
So, this drama is definitely worth a watch........last 2 episodes left :)
EDIT; Finished! (6/1/2020)
I'm glad the main leads survived, Fox survived, many of the characters survived, Song country won the war, those who helped their country got rewarded, etc.
But I'm really unsatisfied with the ending.
I wanted to see Ye Zhao giving birth or see how her child will be and who he/she turn up to be similar to, etc.
Ok, seeing grandpa Zhao Yu Jin and grandma Ye Zhao was nice, aka means that they lived a long and happy life together and also have grandchildren, but still it was too rushed!
For Ye Zhao's cousin, I cannot understand why she killed herself.
For the princess of Xia, it's a shame she died. Anyway, most of the royal family of the Xia country died, except for the baby of the Consort of the king. The brother and sister were really sneaky and got what they wanted.
For Prince Qi, he got what he deserved. I really felt sorry for his wife as their son turned up to be Little Sparrow. Not only did he sent his son away but he also poisoned his vocal cords and made him lose his voice. I agree with the Emperor, as letting him live is the best punishment.
But anyway, the villains got what they deserved, justice was served and a happy ending :) The end. It took me 2 years to watch it and I'm glad I finally did :)
Btw, there are 3 side stories. I really want to watch them, as they look interesting, but there are no subs.
currently watching and on episode 32........ (4/1/2020)
Ok, in general I love it. It's hilarious and I love how the gender roles are switched.
Ye Zhao took a man's role and her career of a general is usually taken by a man of that time. She also acts like a man and considered herself as a man. It's also really hilarious that she is a woman, but loves seeing pretty women.
Like it was really hilarious when Zhao Yu Jin's mother told her that her son needs more concubines and Ye Zhao was like, 'yeah I know some pretty ones' and she was really enthusiastic about it . And his mother was like 'Am I picking concubines for my son or for you?' It was really hilarious, I really laughed so much xD
For Zhao Yu Jin, ok he is considered as a man, but he is more feminine and elegant like a woman, knows how to design clothes, knows art, knows more the inside of a household, etc, which is usually more of a woman's role of that time.
In the beginning, they told us that he is more pretty than a woman and I did not believe it, but as the drama progresses, you end up brainwashed and start to believe it.
Although, it's really hilarious and entertaining to watch, it's also a great message. Why can't a woman take a man's role and be awesome at it like Ye Zhao, and also why can't a man take a woman's role and he also can be awesome at it like Zhao Yu Jin. People are different and can be great at things that are stereotypes roles for men and women.
However, back on the story, people are afraid of change.
So, currently Ye Zhao was forced to retire as a general and was told to focus on being a mother and have children. To be fair, she really offended lots of people. Ok, she followed the rules and killed based on that, but if you offend the powerful people, they're bound to get revenge on you.
Even the Emperor himself is afraid of her. That is mostly why he made her marry his nephew Zhao Yu Jin, so her children will take his side of the family's name and her achievements will be considered the Zhao's achievements.
I really felt sad for Ye Zhao. Ok, she took a man's role and become a general for the sake of getting revenge for her family's death + get honour for her family, however she really loves it. It's something that makes her feel free, but know they bound her to the house.
I really love how Zhao Yu Jin stuck up for her and really felt sad for her. He knew how much she loved her career as a general. He may have been embarrassed in the beginning, having a wife as a general and who acts like a man and more manly than him. But by time, he came to love her as she is and he really depends on her.
Afterall, she depends on him too, as he knows lots of things that she doesn't. Like, she is really a poor judge of characters and he knows immediately who is good and evil.
So, I really love them as a couple <3 They both have their strengths and weaknesses, but their weaknesses are covered by each other's strengths, so they are a power couple :D
Also, it really hilarious how Zhao Yu Jin gets jealous of his wife being friends or close with men (like her military counselor, Fox) and women (like Zhao Yu Jin's concubines fan girl over her and her cousin loves her).
On the other hand, Ye Zhao doesn't get jealous. Ok, it doesn't mean she doesn't love him. She actually loves him a lot. Apparently they met when they were young and she loved him from then on + it's her fault he fell in a cold river, ended up with a weak health and stuck inside for most of his life.
But she doesn't restrict him or fight with him because of other women, she actually encourages him to get more women in his harem lol. That's really hilarious :D
I think she is content that she actually married her first love and now he loves her back. Also, the fact that she lost her family and saw her family members get killed in front of her; makes her more mature, more open minded (like to share your husband with other women, you have to be) and appreciate more life.
I think she may see it as a waste of time bickering and being jealous. Afterall, she lead an army and fought in it for 8 years. She was responsible for many men, had to be a role model, encourage her men, has seen many deaths and killed a lot, etc. So this is stupid and waste of time for her. That's my opinion anyway.
I mostly love the story between the couple, but as the story continues, it gets draggy. It shifts on the Emperor, the political struggles, the corruptions, wars between different states in China, etc.
Ok, I knew it would be draggy as it has 60 episodes, but I wanted to watch this drama, so I cannot complain. And the solution is fast forwarding some of the episodes.
However, I'm not regretting watching it, ok yeah, I will continue fast forwarding. But I'm enjoying how the story is turning out.
I have a feeling that the Xia country will start a war, now that they know that Ye Zhao retired, aka actually removed by force.
And the Emperor and his ministers, being bastards, cowards and selfish as always, will definitely ask her to take her General position again. If I were her, I would tell them to go to hell, but Ye Zhao will definitely take it. She is loyal, loves her country and will sees it as an opportunity to go back.
Ok, I said a lot, I continue watching......................
I agree with most things you said, only negative from season 2 was less interactions between Baek Beom and Eun…
Yes I agree, in this season they had less interactions compared to season 1 and it was like everything depended on Baek Beom.
Yes, I agree as well, I hope their relationship stays the same. To be honest, I did ship Baek Beom and Eun Sol together in season 1, but it would be better if they stay the same.
I hope they make a third season. It would be interesting for Doctor K to join in the team, see their teamwork and hopefully beat the true villains ^_^
I watched from Kissasian, so I loved the 9 episodes.
But the last episode, I hated it. Yu Xi Gu did not deserve such an ending. Xiang Hao Ting did not deserve it at all as well.
I binged watched it in one day and I did see the comments were people saying that they hated the ending, so I kind of assumed that a character died and thought that probably a main character will die.
Then on the last part of episode 9, we see Yu Xi Gu going out to buy the salt. Then I said to myself, oh my! This is it! This part is when he dies, as of course the story was too good to be true. Everything was so beautiful, perfect and nice between Xiang Hao Ting and Yu Xi Gu.
However, as the last episode started we see a different Yu Xi Gu alive. He did really look different, but I was relieved that he was alive. And then I thought that maybe Yu Xi Gu got amnesia or something since Xiang Hao Ting looked so sad + their interactions looked distance.
However, then we see the old gang from highschool reunite and then I was like, why isn't Yu Xi Gu there? Afterall, he did become friends with Xiang Hao Ting's friends as well.
That's when I realised that the different Yu Xi Gu was actually another person. And I really got angry. I was like, are you serious???? Not only you killed Yu Xi Gu, but you had him appear as another person to torment Xiang Hao Ting and torment us, the viewers.
Then I was more sure that it was another person since the different Yu Xi Gu called Xiang Hao Ting as senior. Also, Xiang Hao Ting really changed a lot and he looked sad and full of pain.
I really cried so much T____T Xiang Hao Ting and Yu Xi Gu did not deserve this at all!
Ok, I get that real life is not all sunshine and rainbows and people die. But this is a drama, and characters deserve a happy ending. I really feel sad and I'm going to cry again. Ok, not a great way to start the 2020 New Year.
At least the second lead couple have a happy ending. They live together and finally Lu Zhi Gang's side of the family accepted him being gay and his relationship with Sun Bo Xiang.
I feel so sad right now. I don't know what to think and need to move on.......bye.
Ok, sometimes it was idiotic and over the top, but I really enjoyed it ^_^
It was hilarious, serious, focuses on the problems every family faces, especially when it involves on how to take care of a child or children. It shows us how difficult it is to raise a child and one needs lots of time, support and effort to do so.
I loved how Gin-san helped each child and family get back on the right track and find their smile and happiness again ^_^
Also, it was interesting how Gin-san wore Mary Poppins style clothing. It was mostly why I wanted to watch it as I was curious on how the story will be and I loved it :D
Moreover, I was surprised that they did songs, ok they weren't the best ever, but I enjoyed them :)
I love it :D It was short, sweet, the story wasn't rushed, the characters were nice and we get to see them change for the better and the 4 housemates relationship was awesome :D The main couple, Nayoon and Seon Min were so cute together <3
I love the message that we shouldn't judge thinks quickly. Also, that there is nothing wrong for men and women to live together, even if they are friends or lovers. After all, life is expensive, finding a place to live is expensive, it is better to be with other people, you can be less lonely, you can share concerns, ask for advice, make new friends, etc.
Moreover, it was nice that the four friends got to live together again, but they were still going to go their separate ways to pursue their own careers. A nice and happy ending ^_^
Wow, an amazing, detailed and interesting article! :D I learned a lot! I didn't even realise that they produced movies or dramas at all. I will watch some of them for sure ^_^
currently watching and on episode 23.......... (27/12/2019)
I loved the cast, they're all good actors. I love the characters, especially K&K members, they're all so cute and adorable ^_^ Plus I love their relationship and their team ^_^
I also love Tong Nian and Han Shang Yan as a couple, they're so cute together. And yeah they might have an age gap, but they are perfect for each other.
Ok, Han Shang Yan might be 30 but he acts like he's younger and does act like a child at times. While Tong Nian may be 19, but she's more mature. To be fair, the actress is older than 19, ok she is still young, but definitely not 19. So I cannot see that they have an age gap; conclusion they are good for each other.
Now going on to the story...........ok I love the story that is based on CTF, cybersecurity, competitions, etc. I really learned a lot. I never heard about this before and it was interesting to learn about it.
However, the story is too draggy!
Ok, I love the interactions between the main couple. However, they started in a fake relationship because of their relatives, then broke up, then together again as Gun started to fall in love with Tong Nian, but then broke up with her again because of her mother.
Uhh, too long and draggy! So what if the relatives are against their relationship. It's kind of expected and he instead should discuss it with Tong Nian and find a way to make her mother like him. But instead he runs away and breaks Tong Nian's heart once again.
Also, mentioning Tong Nian. Apart from studying in college, doing programming and coding and assisting in projects related to AI programmes, she also sings. Ok, nothing wrong with her singing, you can say it's a hobby.
But, I don't know, the story or her story feels cramped or too much. Like, one moment you see her at a signing event, or singing for a theme song and then another moment you see her doing programs, assisting in projects, etc.
Ok, it sounds wrong as I'm writing it, as there's nothing wrong with doing things or you love things that are different from each other. However, for a story or for a drama, it feels too much. Maybe it's because I'm used to seeing characters stick to one thing. Or I feel that they used her singing plot to fill in the 41 episodes. Or I'm saying bunch of nonsense lol.
I also love the story about K&K team and SP team, their competitions against each other, their training sessions, etc.
Also, the flashbacks about the disbandment of Team Solo. It is slowly getting pieced together of what exactly happened, why Han Shang Yan (Gun) left the team after they won the championship, etc.
If I haven't missed something, we still do not know what happened exactly. What I do know, it's something to do with Appledog and Solo (using their game names). They were together, but apparently Solo had another relationship who is now Gun's assistant and has a daughter with her.
This is quite confusing what happened, so we do not know the details yet. Even if Solo had another relationship with another woman, I do not know why Gun was so mad about it. As the other team members like All and Little Mi apparently know about it and are not that mad about it as Gun. They even told Gun to forgive and forget as 10 years have passed.
Ok, this drama has many interesting things and things I want to find out about, but it's too long and draggy. Plus it has many extra stuff that could have been cut shorter.
Anyway, know I'm looking forward to the relationship between Little Mi and Tong Nian's roommate.
I'll continue watching + fast forwarding scenes that bore me...........but to be honest, with all its flaws, I can't seem to hate it or stop watching it. It has something that makes me continue watching it.
Ok, the leads got back together quickly and it seems that Tong Nian's family accepted Gun.
Anyway, even with all the drama, misunderstandings, etc, I really love them together <3 They're so cute and adorable together <3 Gun rarely smiles and most of the time he frowns. But when he is with Tong Nian, he smiles a lot and does really cute and adorable things for her ^_^
Also, I'm disappointed about the reason why Gun fought with Solo and left Team Solo. So, Gun was mad at Solo for 10 years, because Solo wanted to take care of his daughter who also had a disability + he had to learn to be a father and take care of a small child.
And I'm like seriously?? Gun was mad at Solo for that reason? Ok, I get that were always together, were like a family and Gun was mad at Solo that he threw their hard work, etc. But Solo put his daughter first and I cannot blame him if he wanted to do that + he did not want to hold them back since Solo needed to focus on his daughter. Also, taking care of a small child is no easy matter.
Anyway, in this episode 35, Gun, Solo and Appledog became friends again and resolved their conflicts.
Also, Little Mi retired as a player from SP team and is now a manager for K&K team. In my opinion, it was a drama for nothing. He should have been a manager from long ago.
Also. Little Mi and Yaya got closer but nothing official yet.
The K&K team members are cute and adorable as well, I love them all ^_^ However, my most favourite member is Demo, he's so cute, kind of an air head but adorable <3
The story got more draggy and never seems to end. I'm also fast forwarding a lot, but I want to see how it ends so I'll continue it. Last 7 episodes left..............
A great ending! ^_^ K&K won the championship! xD I was rooting for them, but I was kind of rooting for SP as well. Also, l'm glad the SP team and K&K team are all friends. They are really patriotic, as it did not matter who one of them won, as long as it was for China.
Gun and Tong Nian got married :D Little Mi and Yaya can be considered together :D
The end :D The story was draggy but on the whole I enjoyed it ^_^ Also, I loved all the characters, I'm gonna miss them. I also loved the songs in this drama :D Worth a watch :D
I liked it :D Finished in one day, with some fast forwarding.
At first I thought I wouldn't like it compared to the other 3 Project S series, but as I continued watching it, I found it cute, light and a breathe a fresh air from the other 3 series.
I admit that the story is not that good compared to the other Project S series.
Also, the actress portraying Bo overacts most of the time and she did annoy me at first, but I started to like her and get used to her as the story got along. I'm glad that she really likes archery now ^_^ It took her some time to find out what she likes, but she never gave up and she finally did :D
Also, it was interesting to learn more in detail about archery. I did watch dramas about archery before, but there weren't enough details. Here, I got to learn with Bo, since she is slow at learning. I am also slow at learning, so it was nice that they explained to her in more simpler terms, aka explained to me or to the viewers in more simpler terms.
For the romance part, it was kind of love rectangle and messy. Archwin and Fame were together and Fame broke up with him. Archwin being heartbroken asked Bo to be his girlfriend and now he realised he really liked Fame and broke up with Bo. But Fame ended up liking Shan.
For Shan and Bo. I think Shan likes Bo, but he's not sure but he did get jealous when Bo was with Archwin. In the last episode, Bo said she did not like Shan having a girlfriend, so they tried kissing and it was kinda awkward and weird. And it ended like up. So, we're not sure if they are officially together or not, but they are cute together and really get along so let's assume they did :)
Also, the characters from the other series appeared and I was like happy to see them lol.
Boo appeared in episode 5, when Shan and Fame went to the amusement park. Like Boo casually walked from behind them and looked at them and off he went.
Jern, Leng (from Spike) and Gym (from Side by Side) appeared in episode 8 during the archery competition, asking what Ganbatte means. It was hilarious xD
Anyway, that's the end of the four Project S series. I enjoyed them all :D
Wow, I loved it. This series is the best one ever and I was so into it that I finished it in one day.
All the actors did an excellent job, especially the actor portraying Boo, he was amazing and also the actor portraying Simon, he was awesome as well :)
Boo made me cry a lot in every episode, felt his pain, felt his loneliness and got to understand depression more. It was very realistic, really portrays depression well and makes us more aware of it.
I was so angry about how his father acted. Boo did try to ask for help. His father brushed it off and told him to tough it up. Also, the hospital told him that he is underage and need his parents consent. So, what could Boo do?
Then after he saw Boo cutting himself, his father finally woke up and realised that he needs to help his son.
Then what did he do? He prevented him from practising skateboard. I'm like, seriously?? Boo nearly killed himself and the skateboard was the only thing that made him want to keep living.
Ok, his father did not know or not anyone knew that Boo attempted suicide. But come on!! He never let Boo do anything he wanted. He always pressured him and tells him do this, do that, play badminton instead, etc. I do not blame Boo at all for never talking to his father, as his father never listens to him.
I was so happy that Boo smiled when he practised skateboard and made friends with the skaters. It was a ray of hope for him.
However, it only lasted for a while and everything went back to how it was after Simon got hurt badly because of him and his father found out that Boo was practising skateboard instead of badminton.
Then after Boo got hurt as well, got another physiastic, Boo said he would never practise skateboard again and never contact the skaters; he acted too normal and like everything is fine. And I'm like, Oh no! Something is definitely wrong.
Bell was the only one who realised that Boo is going to attempt suicide again. Then his father, thanks to her warning, found out that Boo was not taking his medication and was collecting them, aka attempt suicide by taking them all at once.
The last episode made me so emotional, it made me cry a lot. Thank God they saved him before he tried to kill himself again.
Boo also could talk about what he feels to his father and his father now understands him. Also, Boo' relationship with the skaters, especially with Simon changed for the better as well ^_^
Moreover, the most important thing is that he is skateboarding again with the help and support from his father, Bell, Simon and other skaters :D And Boo might still have not been cured yet, but there is hope that he will or even if he doesn't, his life is better and he is much happier :D
The story's focus was on depression and suicide. But it was interesting to learn something about skateboarding. I learned a bit when Simon was teaching Boo and I liked it :)
Definitely worth a watch and prepare lots of tissues.
I loved the story. It was full of emotions. It made me cry, smile, feel happy, feel sad, etc. Also, I loved that it was based on badminton, it's my favourite sports.
I also loved the acting, it was very realistic and awesome :D The actor playing Gym, did an excellent job :D I also loved the cast and characters, they all did well ^_^
For the story, it was mostly based on Gym, Dong and their relationship in their family, rather than badminton. It was mostly how they overcome the hardships they face, especially how to face Gym's autism.
It makes us be more aware of autism and if we are more aware; we would be more understanding, be more open, etc. If we get to accept all people as they are, the world would be a better place.
Ok, it's like Dong felt, it is frustrating at times, as Dong could not do anything he wanted and everything he had to do was for Gym. I really felt frustrated like Dong.
Ok, Gym has autism but it's no excuse to get Gym spoiled and let him get everything his way. He also needed to be more independent.
However, as the story got along, we see Gym grow. The first step was that Dong ''left'' him and went to play singles match.
The second step was the behaviour school. Ok, it was like his mother abandoned him, but here Gym learned to be more calm and be more patient + he found a new passion, where he teaches other people to play badminton, and he's really good at it :D
Also, the third step was thanks to Noi, who taught him how to string rackets, and he also learned to tie his slippers. This way, he learned to appreciate rackets more and do not throw them as he pleases. They are really very expensive.
The final step was thanks to his mother, were she gave him confidence to participate in a singles match. I was really happy that Gym got to look at her in the eye and gave her a kiss for encouragement. That means he is not afraid of her anymore, or he is not afraid of seeing her looking disappointed at him. That's mostly why Gym did not want his mother to come see him. He was afraid that he would embarrass her. she would look at him in disappointment and also he was afraid that she would shout at him.
I loved seeing Gym grow and be more independent. I also loved how his mother, got to accept her son's condition and yeah he may not be good as other people in certain things, but he is definitely good in other things like badminton.
And she got to accept that he may learn things slowly. However, once you teach him once, twice and more, and be patient, Gym learned and was able to fly on his own.
Also, Dong's mother spoiled Gym and her guilt may her that way. Ok, she helped Gym get into badminton, but she spoilt him too much and so she got over her guilt and helped Gym be more independent.
Moreover, I'm happy for Dong and he got to win a gold medal for the singles match :)
However, although he won, he missed Gym. So yeah, Gym may annoyed him at times, but he still loved him and loved playing doubles with him. It was so sweet <3 I loved their relationship between them <3
And for the last episode, I loved their match against each other. At first, they were using each other weaknesses to score points, especially Dong used tricks to tick Gym off. But Dong felt guilty and they both ended up helping each other. Like Gym caring for Dong and Dong helping Gym focus. It was so sweet <3 <3
But it was so sad that Gym lost, anyway Dong could have lost instead and it would have been sad as well. It was difficult to choose. However, Gym wanted to win so as for Dong to play doubles with Gym again. I don't know if they will play together as doubles again, but they cleared all their misunderstandings and are friends / half-brothers / half-cousins again ^_^
This season is worth a watch as well :)
currently watching and on episode 24.......
Definitely worth a watch + the end :D
Ok, now the end.
currently watching and on episode 32........
Finished!
Worth a watch! ^_^
A nice and happy ending ^_^
currently watching and on episode 23..........
==========================================================================================================================================
EDIT: On episode 35...... (30/12/2019)
==========================================================================================================================================
EDIT 2: Finished! :D
Loved it! xD Finished it in one day :D
A happy ending and the end :D Loved it xD
