I wish the plot and premise was something else than bratty influencers and extreme materialism....huge turnoff…
Unfortunately, this is where we are as a world society and the hardest part for me is exactly what you said . Also and unfortunately, I can relate to the female lead character: I live month to month trying to pay bills and also find love or an emotional relationship a luxury brand I can't afford. Dramas are my outlet to feel and sometimes the realism in a story can make me not watch or hit fast forward. With this one, I still want to see how it unfolds. Hopefully to the end.
What episode are you up to and how's the romance and chemistry between the leads in this drama?
I promise you that once you start watching, there's not a moment wasted on the screen. The pacing, acting and direction of the drama (I'm at ep 10) is spot on.
Instead of making a gay drama they are making girl look like a boy, it's not the first time and probably not the…
I'm going to play devil's advocate and say I'm glad they have a female in the part (nothing against BL dramas). Because world history is full of extreme male oriented societies, I wonder where the writer will take this story upon discovery of her real gender and social ranking. Either way, it promises to be interesting.
I thought she did a good job. The part she is playing (no attachment, non emotional, work-a-holic) probably turned…
I love Song Hye Kyo's acting and my thoughts towards improving the first episode would have been to place in 10 minutes of her character's backstory for understanding. I'm like you, though, I'm looking forward to more.
what did the fl do to you guys why I do see a lot of people hating on the actress saying that she can't act at…

Really enjoyed your thoughts about this drama. I dropped "Love, Marriage, and Divorce" after one season. It was one of those car crash dramas....the kind where you cannot help yourself from looking even though everything is bloody. The actors are really good but the storyline seems as if it was written from a misogamist point of view. The wives suffer in varying degrees from mild ego burn to lethal possibilities and the husbands are allowed to whine onscreen about how their marriage partner for x amount of years did not understand their needs. Since I am an ex-wife and my spouse was very much cheating with "the woman who understood him", I divorced and healed and that is what the script lacks; the strength of the woman scorned to walk away and eventually become stronger, wiser. I'll return to the series whenever the storyline starts down this path.
Yumi and Woong are the truest story form of two people who love each other but are also in a different space. Episode 14 was so critical with nuanced acting and writing that I wanted to throw a shoe at the animation cells. They aren't needed right now because the brilliant emotional acting by the two leads tells the story.
It's according. I wonder how newly married blended families with teenagers all of a sudden say, "Whammo, you're siblings". To me, bonding doesn't work that way. On the other flip of the coin, step siblings who have grown up together surely have a sibling bond, so this would bother me.
Loved your article! I tried Love O2O when I first started on as a CP fan because it was highly recommended. To me, the FL looks anorexic and Yang Yang was forgettable in the part. I dropped it after 3 episodes. You are My Glory was interesting from episodes 10 until 21. I liked both actors in their part but I think the real reason these two shine together was the director; every scene was very carefully choreographed and the attention to actor details really shows. After episode 21, I thought it was still good but lost interest and that has more to do with my personal taste than anything wrong with the drama.
Love your article! This is in my top ten list of favorite historical dramas. The slow unfold of the story combined with the feelings of requited but untouchable love really drives home the point of the luxury of choice.
It's Sae Yi and her sense of entitlement for me. Because if she had succeeded in breaking them up, she'd have…
I think this was my top rated scene in any drama. The acting, the dialogue between the three characters was realistic to the point it hurt. The character growth of Yumi allowed a speech that was poignant, cutting and honest without malice towards Woong. Brilliant.
