In the first season, the FL was good in her part but I thought she lacked really good chemistry with Lee Dong Wook. No slight to her acting ability, but chemistry between actors is so intangible that it's also hard to predict onscreen. The scenes with Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum? Off the chart and so the brother relationship became my favorite part of the drama.
So i heard yumi and woong arent the endgame in the webtoonðŸ˜ðŸ˜But i am so in love with this couple already!!…
I've never seen such awkwardly beautiful people mesh onscreen and make the scenes they are in together riveting. If the writing makes sense for them not to be endgame, I'll be heartbrokenly okay. If it's one of these, "I'm going overseas, see you later" endings, I'll be throwing things at the tv screen.
Yumi's cells has managed to do the impossible. I remember the feeling of disappointment, the thrill of a love's that is new, the magic of that first kiss. I love this show!
This show is like the perfect cup of coffee. I sit down and for however long the episode lasts, I'm content to watch quirky, realistic character situations unfold. I hope and wish for a season 3, but thank you to cast and crew for giving me a couple of hours every week to savor the shows moments. Well done.
In terms of rewatch value this drama is a 10 for me so far. I have rewatched the first 6 episodes at least 10…
I agree 100% with the re-watch value. My obsession with this drama started with "One and Only" and that feeling seamlessly blended into watching this one. The very rich back history of the first drama demonstrates the love between 2 people in an impossible situation of loyalty versus love. This one is a modern story with eerily similar family circumstances folded under the labels of loyalty and family honor versus individual happiness. It will definitely go in my top ten dramas watched list.
King of ‘no kiss’ contract, is now kissing, is he having marital problems in the time of cOvid? As so many…
I think the no kiss clause is crazy! An actor / actress literally has to use their body and emotions to connect and portray the character. That being said, I cannot understand how anyone in this profession would be able to stay married. You're literally with a romantic costar for 6 - 9 months, sometimes 12 - 18 hours a day. If your acting partner is a decent person, is it possible not to develop feelings for them?
Guys I’m sorry I love the ML mother's distant look, great acting I really hate her!
I love to hate an antagonist and the ML mother is portrayed by such a good actress in a well written part. Not over the top, not meek and venomous, just polite ice all the way. The best.
So Yan zhi did not become empress but consort. I also think CRY not showing sadness is part of the plan with Qin…
I'm not sure that they didn't consummate. The scene where they were in wedding clothes, looking at each other...I'm pretty sure my dinner came back up.
