I agree. The visuals are beautiful and the chemistry between the leads is on point but there has been no forward progress in the storyline since about episode 8 ish. Okay, she sleep walks but does that have to be the topic of conversation for the next 8 episodes? Doesn't make sense.
The entertainment industry, regardless of what continent the person is on, is a cutthroat business. Actors are especially vulnerable to criticism because of their personality type, which needs affirmation from the public. I've noticed this poor girl disappearing in each subsequent drama from 2021 on as her weight diminishes. My very heartfelt sympathies to her circumstances, and may she become emotionally and physically healthy during her reprieve from the spotlight. No one should have to endure a public's censor as celebrities do, and may this bring a very bright spotlight to an industry that treats actors as livestock worked to exhaustion.
Oh myyy, I got goosebumps during the reveal of the truth convo. 2 broken people, our SML is so so broken to beg…
The SML is leading the life his brother wanted him too. Add in the mental illness of his mother, and his one light is Ju Hye Ri choosing him. Not the announcer or the son who is the remainder, just him. When Jung Hyeon O is being questioned about marriage, I wanted to slide off the chair and cry. All Ju Eun Ho wanted was a committed partner, a family she could call hers, and 8 years of dating should have either been cut short or resulted in a commitment. He's taken that away from her in such a low and callous manner - twice - while offering to take care of her if she's sick. I seriously struggled to not hit the tv.
This is a well thought out, written, and, oh my goodness, acted piece of work that deserves a lot of accolades. I don't care about the happily ever after couple but instead am heavily invested in character healing, especially for Ju Eun Ho. Bring on episode 8!
The breakup scenes happened exactly like the novel. The novel is more vivid because you can read what is going…
I think the shade comes from her liking him while he was with the FL and yeah, this happens a lot in reality. I'm a definite believer in friend code boundaries.
The guys wants stability and an ordinary life, but now the BOTH of them have financial issues. FL because she…
I wish i could ship them as a couple but, uh, no. I'm a strict believer in girl code over any dude and if she's crushed on him like the drama portrays, she's trash.
i can't watch because the bitch. can't this be FL and her hardships at work, that she has too dface the bitch…
I loved your comment! I've grown a little tired of the 2nd female lead characters wedging between a couple, and I'm a bit biased. I've seen this in reality so many freaking times. Having to watch it in dramas is an overload.
"Even if its proven that she did in fact brutalize another human being and inflict untold trauma simply on a whim,…
There's a gossip column called "Lainey Gossip" that I used to read all the time during lunch break. Her take on celebrity personality types was, for the most part, they were vanity driven, insecure and entitled jerks (I read this column when Hollywood actors actually interested me). If this blind accusation is true, it sounds like a few of the South Korean actors fit this mold also.
Risk of sounding unpopular....Does this drama seem abit boring to some?....Just not finding it original or super…
I have problems following xianxia dramas but because of the two main leads, I'm hanging in there. I watched an interview, and they talked the first fifteen or so episodes were lighthearted and then the angst begins with a vengeance. I'll keep watching, especially after it picks up.
