I know! Of all, Xiang Liu's character is the most interesting to me because of his callous and mysterious nature. I have a feeling his backstory will probably break me for a couple of days because the early episodes lean towards him only knowing cruelty and loss up until the introduction of Xiao Yao in his life.

What is given are three dimensional characters with souls poured together with good and bad emotions and traits. The writers and actors definitely sell this to an obsessive watcher.

I think it would be toxic by mortal standards, but since they are deities, not so much. To live thousands of years, to witness and feel the pain of separation during eons of time, I'm surprised they have any emotional ties to give. For Xiang Liu, I think Xiao Yao brings out feelings in him that are unexpected because his main emotion is loss. In one beautiful package, I have a feeling this drama will repeatedly break my heart.

You are definitely saying the words that I've thought since episode 1. I'm not a fan of Wuxia or fantasy based Chinese dramas but this one has me hooked and rewatching every episode and preview available.

I'm a serial fast forward drama watcher, especially when the episodes are over 16. Not only has that button not been pushed but I've rewatched every single episode at least twice waiting on the next one to roll out. This show is amazing!

I thought Go Yoon-Jung simpered her way in the second half of the show, and I'm not sure if it was due to the inconsistent writing or how she interpreted the part. I also loved the first part of the series and hit fast forward through the second just to see how it ended.

Thank you so much! I love this drama almost to the point of obsession, so while I'm waiting on the last episodes, this will definitely help tide me over.

I judge on their acting and most shows she is in are pretty good (in my opinion). My favorite actress, hands down, is Zhao Lu Si. Even though I don't think she's the most gorgeous actress, she commands each role in a way that is almost otherworldly. I'd watch her if she was singing a love song to a teacup.

If I had her costars, I'd definitely be chasing them all over the set.
