Totally! And then she had the audacity to tell his mother she was his girlfriend and then proceeded to yell at her own mom for whatever reason (?). I honestly don't understand how some people are defending her and saying he should basically give up on his best friend and his principles? He was very clear with her the first three times he said he did not want to date her.

Youjin is one of the most insufferable characters I've ever seen. She's way too possessive of him and can't take no for an answer. Like, how long have they even known each other? And she already wants him to stop seeing his best friend from high school?? It's like she's constantly manipulating him. She never listens to what he wants or thinks, and she's always pushing him to do things he doesn't want to do.
Just a few examples of when she does this:
- When she insisted on going inside his house and then manipulated him into showing her his stump.
- When they were kissing at his house and she started pushing him to the floor and taking off his shirt. HE SAID NO MULTIPLE TIMES, but she KEPT GOING.
- When he kindly let her take a shower at his house and was calling a taxi so she could go home, she offered to stay over. He clearly didn't want her to, so they took the taxi, but then she refused to get out?? (How old are you, girl? Ten? Go home, the man wants to be alone!)
- When she kept implying that they were dating in front of Sejin, even though HE CLEARLY SAID HE WANTED TO KEEP IT PRIVATE. Like, girl! He was telling her to stop, but she just kept going. She doesn't care about what he wants or thinks. She just wants everything to go her way.
- When she tried to forbid him from seeing Seohyeon because she was worried he'd cheat on her? I understand that she's insecure, but she could've expressed her concerns in a completely different way.
She's just way too pushy. I'm not saying he's an angel, because he isn't, and there are definitely things about him that I dislike. But her character is so much worse.

I loved to read your whole thought process, I guess we're all very much waiting for answers 😂. I agree with you so much, I have SO MANY QUESTIONS. When I first read the synopsis I did not think it'd be like this.
I also don't understand why he changed so much, he looked so sad before and now he's so cheerful.
I haven't watched the second episode yet though, so I don't know if there's more info about his past.

That's interesting! I know that there are two-syllable surnames and one-syllable names, I just hadn't heard of someone with both things you know haha, it's quite confusing. Like, one-syllable names are pretty common, but two-syllable surnames are pretty rare, and having the combination just caught my attention.
What do you think though? Do you think he's the same person?

I have this feeling he's not the actual boyfriend. I feel like he liked her and was the boyfriend's friend or roommate or something. It just doesn't look like they are the same person. He also has burn scars on his body, and if he had had reconstructive surgery on his face he would have scars there too, it wouldn't look like that. It's just an opinion though. That would explain why she doesn't remember him and why Chan didn't see his supposed sister when he went back to Seoul. Chan is a pretty common name too, so it wouldn't be far-fetched if they were called the same. His name is weird though, I never heard a Korean with a two-syllable surname and one-syllable name.
I feel like the synopsis is misleading, but perhaps we'll see more in the future.
