I agree he’s a very impulsive person. He never thinks things through. I hope he grows out of this habit as he grows older. He totally deserved that slap from his mom. that cowboy attitude of his is going to get him in trouble.

It was really ridiculous tha Wang Hee’s parents had to pay such a high amount for that fiasco. The bad guy got away Scott free. But then it really was. Feng Hua’s mistake when she signed the contract and took the money. and I actually don’t like Feng Hua’s parents . they should have taken more responsibility for this

I agree. For me this one was a solid 9.5. I loved SOKP for its complexities and the story and acting but this one should not be compared with drama. They are so different and have different settings . The Best Thing was simple yet beautiful. Sometimes you just want something light and refreshing like this. Honestly we have had too many dramas where sometimes you wonder how can such fractured people have a relationship even. And that I would call unrealistic. But here the relationship was well balanced, their temperaments were well balanced and they complemented each other well. I think there were so many great things they showed about how a relationship should be. The characters were very mature . Sometimes that is all you need to make a great drama . Not everything has to be convoluted.

Wow! That was a gorgeous wedding. They really picked the right actress for this role . She performed her role beautifully. This story was so good! Simple and beautiful and very realistic I should say. And they were well balanced partners . They each came into the relationship with their own baggage and gave each other what they needed. That is what I liked about it. The best drama yet of 2025 . It is a solid 9,5 for me !

Wow! Siyi’s advice to Feng Hua was too notch. That is exactly what Feng Hua has to learn- it will be tough for her but that is what will get her somewhere . It also shows how Siyi will lead her life. I don’t think love and depending on someone will be a priority for her. She probably won’t trust anyone that much in the future . That is going to be sad but her life experiences have taught her that

I actually want this falling out and growth for Fenghua. She needs to find herself first . I feel like she is too entangled with her life at the canal. But I do think that Wanghe treats Fenghua more like a bosom buddy than someone he is interested in . And he definitely has feelings for Siyi.

You meant in Legally Romance the ML never got reciprocated by the FL. He did a lot - it’s one of my favorite but yeah the FL needed to make an effort there.

Story may be simple but they did some of the relationship stuff well- like conflict resolution, taking responsibility for what you did wrong and apologizing . These are important things. The other thing they do well was how they slowly built on the relationship in a realistic manner

LOL. Yeah some of that reticence and shyness looks so fake especially in an adult women. Writers may think this adds complexity but I don’t think so. And what gets to me is when men just try to please these women from beginning to end without anything in return. You can show selfless love to a certain extent but needs are not fulfilled then in reality who is willing to stay in such a relationship? It does not make sense if one person just keeps giving - at some point they should get tired of it. And I think this drama did good in that sense- both the characters are invested in the relationship and there is give and take - that made it healthy

Yep the fact that she researched all those herbs and picked up that interest showed that she is not boring . Also she was ambitious about her career

Hey let me be honest! I am not that person either . LOL but I guess that is the character they gave us😂. She is simple but at least she is slightly ambitious and wants to do her masters. They have given us worse characters where you want to tell them ‘Get a Life’. The fact is that they still don’t give us well written deep FL characters that often. They always show them as people who muddle their way through life and require many people supporting them as crutches. But I think this one was relatively better in some ways and slightly more interesting .

This is such a subjective conversation. You can’t put characters in a box like that. I agree that her communication skills are not the greatest and that she does not like to face things head on but there are people like that in the real world too. And none of us are perfect. Neither is she. Just like beauty, perfection is also in the eye of the beholder.

I have not watched ep 26 yet. But yes he is conflicted but I think doctor-patient confidentiality took precedence in this case
