After the whole thing went down I just wished Saxin had had a more open mind about Benjamin rather than just looking down on him all the time for being a mercenary. And it was so sweet that he and Saxin’s mom developed this bond :)

You are absolutely right there. They don’t look like those tough people who have that certain vibe of having seen and experienced what they have . I am not sure if they look too ‘innocent’ rather than look war beaten ?- is that the right word? It’s also the attitude- that confidence and self assurance is lacking. Yep Benjamin has played his part of being a mercenary to the T- he has got it !

Yes I mean SB. She and due diligence? From the beginning all we saw was giving orders , being high and mighty, putting down others and taking credit for their work. Such people like power that’s it - they never do the dirty work. I don’t think she ever did field investigative work. Otherwise she would have done her research rather than land there like that. It was obvious that the only reason she came there was to chase the ML. She was scared that he would be taken by the FL .

Agree that Shen Bei is despicable . At this point she is so jealous of the FL that she is doing things without thinking just to spite her. She is basically shooting herself in the foot. And yes I also liked that the FL stood up to her. Let’s see where that train wreck is going to end at. She just knows how to take credit for others’ hard work especially the FL.
