Exactly what was the point of this drama? It definitely had potential but in the end it was a chaotic blob of a mess

I would not characterize this as a romance so I am not even going to get into the couple dynamics but yes LR was conflicted about her feelings for SRQ. That much was obvious through out the show. The politics and the power struggle was majorly what this was about and not romance. I don’t mind a drama being political or female centric but even that was done in a very chaotic way. You pretty much lost all the pieces of the puzzle as you were watching . And yes SRQ took over the drama from everyone else and the relationship between him and the princess was very weird. She seemed to be fighting for power in an emotional way and her emotions / questionable entanglement with SRQ seemed to impede all her decisions. I was too confused about this drama. I don not know what exactly it stood for and what it was about. To me her character development was just not there . She never accomplished much with power or love. So what exactly is the point of this drama? The drama had such great potential but failed in the end because of an extremely convoluted plot that was difficult to wade through
. And if you want to beat me up for my honest humble opinion or cannot tolerate it then get lost because I have every right to be here on this comment section. And putting my opinion down
