So the FL is just going to flip flop this way through out the drama I guess . He was dealing with a lot so she slapped him and she broke up with him at the airport. Man she is tiresome. I don’t want them to get back together . This is not at all a healthy relationship.

Well the FL is always a yo- yo that is the issue and it looks like she will be one in the future episodes too. But yes the boss’ manipulation was unnecessary but I think the writers used it as a tool to create the break between the ML and FL. Honestly I am glad they did that because the FL’s constant torture of the ML was affecting me. I am so happy for this break .

Yes I read that too- that Shen Yue did not like her character arc. I mean it is nuts how can one identify with a character like that . It actually felt kind of peaceful after he left and she calmed down. Phew! She tortured him too much.

No thankfully they have not made him heartless or without morals- he just can’t be as emotional as a normal person and there is a certain order to his life just like most autistic people have but she disturbs that order and he started becoming curious about her . It’s actually a good watch. Also shows struggles they have in their relationship. And yeah he tends to not get close to people because he does not want to hurt them- since he can’t express himself. But he has his own way of caring for others

I don’t like FL characters written this way in general. She is very needy, desperate and does not understand the ML. And the ML is in a bubble . I do t think w should trivialize his illness . A woman is not always right just as a man is not always right. If you reverse the situation people will say worse things here

I know you are trying to get me see your side really hard but you should try to understand where am coming from as well. Yes that was a mistake on his part but she could have refused and that does not change the fact that she is is self absorbed and is abusive towards him with total disregard to his condition. He was also totally honest from the beginning

I have never said other wise - to each unto their own. So leave my opinion to me and you can keep yours and I don’t think you categorize this as a romcom and you should go check the definition of documentary- not sure where you got that from- you can go back to read what I said and I never said that.

Exactly my point. I love Shen Yue - she really plays her role well. And even here non of us are criticizing the actors or criticizing the show lest some people get offended. What we are doing here is a character analysis from our point of view . She ‘Loves ‘ the idea of him and the ‘idea of romance’ with him but has not really tried to understand him as an individual or thought through things from the relationship perspective or put herself in his shoes.

I think she is the one abusing him . Let’s be clear. From him there is not much you can expect. She is the one who has very tall expectations from a mentally sick person. She is only thinking of the romance aspect but mot about how difficult that might be for him. No one should trivialize sickness or mental illness . And romance should be the las thing here . He needs to heal first . That is why she is self absorbed. This will be a growing experience for her too. It’s ok to not agree - this is my opinion of the drama

Yep . That is the thing she knew and she went into it open eyed. And now everything is somehow his fault. Her desperation and obsessive fixation on him is not at all endearing. If anything i am now rooting for them not getting together unless she goes through some overnight transformation into a person with a little more empathy and emotionally more stable. Right now they are both not healthy people.

HE IS ILL period. You can’t treat a sick person like that . She can spare herself all of this trouble and date the the SML . And let’s not say ‘oh this is love’ . If she really cared she would wait patiently for him to work on himself a little bit. She is allowed to be upset but she blames him and plays the victim. That is totally wrong. She is so self absorbed that she does not see the damage she is causing him

You nailed it - this is the issue. She is pretty much torturing him at this point. How can a relationship survive this especially when one person is emotionally impaired and the other one is. Emotionally unstable ?
