Yes since he is so deeply in love with her and chose her he is willing to be patient with her until she grows up. And she did for the most part after the break up I think. Before that a relationship was never her priority. She actually treated that ex BF(granted that he was not worth it) also very badly. But with Shi Yan she felt that loss really badly when she messed up and realized how much she loved him. Him cutting off communication is the best thing that happened. It really made her think about her priorities and how to cherish what she has

Yes it definitely took a breakup for her to realize her flaws. During the first half she was sending some serious mixed signals to him and lying so much.

But I have to say though that Shan Shan had some rare nuggets of wisdom as well. LOL

Yes it was obvious to the audience that she treats them as friends but man she really had a hard time proving that to Shi Yan! But this drama was very sweet!

Well I got a lot of hate for saying I enjoyed the show LOL

Bai Lu nailed her role in this one. She actually made a flawed character come alive so beautifully on the screen

Same here I am also scared of viruses when I watch on those illegal websites. So I am waiting for Viki to release the episodes even though it is slow

Yes that was the issue. Really in the first half everything she did came across as deliberate and that she was toying with him

Yes I was irritated too. I mean that cue he gave to her through the reporters that problems can be solved by talking it out - not only does she run away- she also deletes his contact. I am glad he finally took the first step otherwise she never would have done anything

Maybe but I also think that she had confused herself too much with all those assumptions she was making and never really tried to understand his feelings. All she was doing was to cover for the mistakes she was making till he blocked her- that is when she realized that she had maybe done irretrievable damage to the relationship. She really could not face him because she felt very guilty

Yeah they never did- but she was like a ‘hunter’ in the initial episodes. It may have helped to provide some background. But she really confused the hell out the FL in those initial episodes.

She really gave some awful advice in the beginning and since then FL was inexperienced she made all these assumptions from a this friend’s advice. She had a very skewed negative outlook on men and relationships. And I did not like Shan Shan and Guan Ji’s relationship at all. They were both really messed up.

Yes you are right - she is a little immature in relationships and her EQ was not the best . She definitely did some really mind boggling silly things. She was feeling very guilty and knew she had damaged the relationship and hence did not want to face him- it definitely is normal because she actually did love him but did not know how to express. It really was a lovely drama
