If you love someone you embrace their flaws too and honestly no one is perfect. There are women who choose to love flawed men but like I said this story is for a more mature audience who have seen the world.
Li Xun actually respects and cherishes Zhu Yun a lot and he challenges her and contributes to her growth he did not want to drag her into the dark hole he was going into and that’s all that was. That is the reason she holds on to him even though he is flawed .
