The sadness is wasted on this character. Like someone said up there why even consider /ship this ‘couple’ since the FL is already in a serious relationship with the ML. ? What exactly are these viewers asking of the writers here?

It really shows how important honestly and integrity is for him in a relationship and in his profession. Yeah his character is written well

I am curious about what role the FL’s dad played in all of this. Was he just an innocent victim or was there something more than that? There might be - and that may cause some issues between the leads or maybe not since they were both kids at that time

What ‘clear like’ are we talking about here. He is clearly interested in her because he sees that Yu likes her. He has an agenda which is more vicious than noble so he just wants to possess her to make sure that Yu does not get her. That is clearly the dynamic there

I really loved her clean break with her husband . Yep she is her own woman who has her values and priorities straight!

I like how the ML and FL take full responsibility for who they are as individuals and perform their duties but as a couple how are they going to do this. I think the FL and her family is the biggest issue here . I am on ep 19 and this show is getting better and better. Do I blame him for leaving the wedding scaremongers like that? No.!I think he wants to be very honest to himself and her. And he wants her to decide whether she wants to be with him based on that. This is so good!

And please don’t use the word toxic - is that even needed here just because some people expressed their opinions on a story and character. Just S a guy is responsible for the relationship the woman is also responsible . It is always a two way street. Yes she is loyal there is no question but she needs to be more clear with that 3rd person -because he is approaching her directly and behind the ML’s back . Do we want the ML to ‘rescue’ her or will she take care of it well so she does not have to explain to the ML every single time?

I am not saying make it that public but - at least with Pei they need to draw the line or else it is going get complicated. And I am not blaming her. All I am saying is that keeping it low key has its own consequences.

Even if it is 2026 she needs to say that she is actually with someone else . She can’t just act not interested. That will not work on someone like Pei. I don’t like it when people leave it open ended like that . So the ML should just sit there and wait while she keep it low key and make it public when it is convenient for her. Well that kind of ambiguity only leads to trouble . Especially with creeps like Pei. It looks like the mom now knows that Pei is interested in her . So what is going to happen when her son says she is his GF? This is going to get complicated.

I just think that the ML and FL need to draw a stronger line with Pei. All this collaboration will only lead to more of a mess. That Pei is relentless in his creepy pursuit of the FL
