this one is a long courtship that takes up most of the show.
I am rewatching and just because they did not kiss does not mean they are not dating . It was a nicely done long relationship building process . They had things to clear up too. I like it much better than an a fast romance

Yeah he always bring this cloud along with him that just removes all the sunlight of the FL (just using drama’s metaphor) . I really like how ML handled the whole situation. So much maturity there

I think they are stuck in their time. That is all I can say. .probably Wallace and Zhang Han’s looks and mannerisms speak to them much better than the younger ones .
The few things I loved. a lot about the story apart from them story itself: 1. The characters of the main leads and how the actors portrayed them. Both SWL and ZJM played their roles well. You could really see who they were as individuals and what brought them together 2. The pace of the story. Nothing was hurried and it was rightly done 3. The theme of female empowerment was very strong in this drama. This included the leads’ moms and both the leads. The ML was so secure, grounded and down to earth that he was fine with FL being strong and having her own career parallel to his. There were no unwanted sacrifices here. A lot of us aspire for that in real life 4. Positivity and optimism in life : they both had setbacks - the ML more serious than FL- but they rose quickly after they fell. Overall it was a really sweet satisfying story
