Definitely a love triangle as the Lawyer already expressed interest in FL. Not sure if it was really romantic interest because he is apparently a fan of an actress - FL's mother - and FL make him recall this actress when she was young. Ngl, I found this a bit uncanny but whatever it's a comedy. :P
But now, he is even more eager as it want "revenge" on ML and plot to "take FL from him".
BYS fell for a woman with red flags, unsurprisingly got betrayed by her (again), and decided to go after her whole…
Not sure if you saw Ep. 26 so don't read it if you didn't but:
He didn't go after the whole family because he hated the family as a whole, he targeted it because he wanted to hurt Yunshu in her weakness, the Rong family name. She literally cannot give up of it and it's mostly the reason why she "betrayed" him.
As for Yunxi, she probably try in her own way to protect both of them from her own family. It all root from the man & daughter background that cannot really be disclosed. Remember, she is supposed to be an "adopted girl who lost her parents that Shanbao took pity". That Grandma only tolerate her because of this story - even if she know her true origin. The Rong family name cannot be tarnished. Like how she avoided to be part of their life when she was with her father, she applied the same restrain with him now she is with her.
I genuinely hope a happy ending for them once FL will took over the family as seriously, this Grandma need to go. :P
A feel good drama. Tbh, I was hoping it would have been more focused on the romance and their "psychological" issue than the chocolate plot itself. The romance is clearly in the background and their personal issue is a bit underused.
Came here with the same question... what are they hinting at ?
Well, it's a cameo so I don't really think we should see something further than that but it was clearly a odd one as it was the very last scene. They didn't communicate much about it even after it was aired.
But yeah, it was quite puzzling as it was like they hinted a season 2 tbh.
Didn't expect the body swap plotline to appear. Well, now I see it was in the synopsis (and probably in the trailer/teaser ?) but I went completely blind in this. Personally, I do enjoy those - they are often a fun time - so it's a pleasant surprise. :)
His feelings towards FL is not a romantic, but angry because she could adapt to the circumstances and he couldn't.imho,…
Well, now with the body swap, "FL" with act more boldly because he is the Grand Prince. He will literally break the character and probably do some outrageous thing that will probably cater to the SML deeper wishes.
Basically what I'm saying is that he will indirectly crush on ML.
Ep. 9 was a bit anticlimactic. It was a bit too easy & tbh the writing was quite lazy here. It made the whole Aran/Tawan storyline quite pointless. Even the new "antagonist" from the rival mafia gang was underwhelming.
But anyway, I didn't enjoy this drama for those side plot. The main couple is so endearing that it was still a blast. I will miss them as it's almost the end. :'(
So about the "sick" son of the culprit. In the last episode, I don't remember his name, but the cop who showed to those forensic doctors house REALLY insisted that they went to the temple where the shaman/priest is at. For me, the culprit is the shaman so it make this cops hella suspicious + he was pretty low key the whole time. The only thing I don't really explain yet with this theory is that he was attacked by the ghost and almost drowned. But maybe it's because the ritual was disrupted at this time and the "backslash" occurred. What do you think ?
Pooh is young and on his second role in acting ever; he's already shown growth in acting since PB1, and Pavel…
Don't know if you are aware but Smart (the actor playing Jin) had a severe controversy during summer because of his agency. To put it bluntly, he is no longer part of the Project Topform and lost most of the momentum he gained from it unfortunately.
So, That ghost is police man's wife... But why she doesn't want them to know the truth????? I'm so confused about…
I also recall them saying that the first ritual bonded the ghost to do his master biding aka. she is controlled against her will. But he need to keep sacrificing people to keep that control. She will probably kill the culprit in the end and it will probably be quite satisfying. It's just a wild guess.
Being that she is his lawyer if they did get into a relationship it would have to be after case over. Even after…
If it's "realistic", he wouldn't be able to have his previous career back. Because:
- Their boy group is literally dead. - It was said that his solo attempt wasn't that well received. - Even if judged innocent, those judgement aren't as impactful or have the same reach as the controversy itself.
As for her dating her client, it wouldn't be a problem after the case is close. As for her "reputation", it's already trash tier as she was already labeled as someone who defend anyone who have the money - even scumbags. But she isn't an Idol so it doesn't really matter for her work but the fact she always win those trials is hundred more important to make her successful in her career as Lawyer doesn't need to be loved by all but to win their case.
But anyway, it's a drama so dropping the "realistic" PoV wouldn't be that odd if they really want to focus more on the romance but it doesn't seem to be the case so far (even with the fangirl plotline).
Entertaining so far but I don't know, the romance is going a bit "too fast" for my taste. Like Jade is all over Kamin H24 to the point of really being unprofessional. Even their cohabitation situation is hella forced. They have literally no build up. Maybe I'm biased as I prefer slow burn but hey, I still think it's too quick.
Regardless, the thriller part hooked me as I'm completely lost at who could be the culprit.
Intrusive though here: Maybe it's Jade. :P The fact that his brother is "friend" with a bunch of scumbags is odd if himself is completely "innocent". Maybe he try to protect him in a very odd way and the seduce my superior is part of the scheme. It would be interesting but the chance of happening is close to 0%.
She probably the one that gave the whereabouts of Madame Yang at the "cousin", right ?
Ngl, I like this character. But I fail to see how the Grandma will trust her at being the family heir if it's the purpose of her scheming. Or maybe she just want the family downfall - they weren't the most "loving & harm" family to her. Even FL kept her distance with her.
Funny to see this boring drama with forced comedy has higher ratings than Made in Korea.
Let's not attack others peoples pastime. I like both drama so far but they are nothing alike with each other. I get you "Made in Korea" is underrated but coming here spreading negativity isn't really the answer.
I was originally happy to see a BL touching upon a whole range of such dramatic complicated issues, but the fluff…
Yeah, they added so much heavy subject but just used them as shock factor rather than really trying to develop them. Like the fact that Ice was forced to be a porn actor but that he didn't have any intimacy issue after is surprising... Sure it can be strong mentally and be "fine" but the subject wasn't even brought up.
As for the GL couple, the bar is quite low for BL dramas so I can understand but you can view story 100 times more developed in actual GL dramas.
I mean its not like this hasn't happened before in real life. Science and Morality is not always comparable.
Human trial isn't what you think it is. First of all, you cannot test it if it can directly kill someone. I'm not saying they cannot die during the trial - it is expected if you take terminally ill patient - but if it's discovered that the patient died because of the trial, it's automatically stopped.
He killed 223 peoples to test his "panacea", so it was clearly not eligible to a legitimate Human trial - especially since he doesn't even have a license as it say in the synopsis he didn't graduate ("medical school dropout").
Damn! I don't know if I can even hate Koh or not! For some reason, Pheem rubs me the wrong way and I do feel bad…
They are grey characters, all of them - Koh being the darkest. Like Pheem slept with another woman when Jira "turn him down". Jira is kind of greedy. And Koh is... Koh to say the least.
But now, he is even more eager as it want "revenge" on ML and plot to "take FL from him".

But overall, it wasn't a bad drama. 8/10
