The way she reacted when she saw him at the hospital & after that give her away. Sure, it doesn't hurt to…
She said "Do you know what you've done ?". It isn't just about cheating but also about the pregnancy. It's how I saw it personally so yeah, it didn't surprise me when he assumed directly he was the father when he heard she was pregnant.
okay why do I feel like her acting here kind of matches judge kang bitna is it just me or??
It isn't the acting, it's more like the character are similar. But personally I don't think they are that similar either. Kang Bitna was darker and Euhno is more inclined in the mischievous & cute side.
ML easily accepted that the baby is his? When she didn't even confirmed it to him? It is strange. So I don't know…
The way she reacted when she saw him at the hospital & after that give her away. Sure, it doesn't hurt to "verify" but it's a fair assumption of his part.
The misunderstanding get dragged WAAAAY too long. Well, apparently based on the preview, Than should meet her at last... But they already teased us two times (Hospital & School play) so I don't trust them anymore. But if they tease us again, I will just drop it tbh. :x
But now he is constrained by the rong family’s rules, rules he must obey and that are deeply unfair to a male…
Did you even watch the drama ? Oo
- FL went by herself at the age of 13 with the trading caravan working for her family. She trained by herself to become "The Tea Bone" when she didn't have the innate talent to begin with. Should I continue ? She definitely did everything like ML did for her career.
- And again, he gave up the Duke Tittle. Something that he didn't work for it as it was just his biological father that wanted give him because he didn't like his previous heir - ML's own brother who btw, he ruined because of how he handled his own household. So everything he worked - being an official, being acknowledged by the Emperor and becoming the Prefect of Linji - he didn't abandon any of it. Like I mean, even her own father was an official and he was still part of the Rong family (until he mess up badly with their Tea business).
Don't know why I even bother to someone who didn't watch it... Or have serious comprehension issue.

In what way he will be constrained by the Rong family's rules ? They are unfair only if he was interested in their tea business and it isn't the case here. He can freely be the official he wanted to be. Even FL want that for him.
The Grandma Era is done and FL already say what she wanted the Rong family to become. Why would she leave the family she mostly built for more than a decade now ? She is already creating a new path...
I seriously don't understand where this double standard come from.
Just want to clarify something. ML didn't abandon his whole career for FL. He already had one that he made by himself. He is even acknowledged by the Emperor. The only reason he hesitated was to protect his lost brother legacy, his nephew. He didn't care at all about his birthright as a Duke - especially from someone who destroyed his mom & brother. He is self made and really pride of that fact. So I'm really lost at how some are that surprised he gave up on it & call him a simp for that reason. Oo
I'm not sure. It is strange though that there is at least 1 kiss scene in each episode starting from 19 until…
Probably when ML or FL will discover that ML's dad was the "culprit" from FL's dad accident. It's a misunderstanding so it shouldn't break them up if ML will open at what really happened in the past but it would sure bring down the heat. :)
Xiao Zhiyu! That was too brutal of a rejection! Fine you dodged her but moving out the very next day ?! I know, I know. He wanted to "protect" her and not involve her in his crusade but god, no wonder he was single for life (as far as we know). :P
And Pei Zhen swoop in at the perfect timing! Ngl, I like men with glasses. Even toxic one. I will cheer for him for now just to spite ML. (Don't take it too seriously I'm just watching the train wreck with my popcorn. :D)
Really enjoyed this one! If you are into courtyard intrigue it's definitely for you. FL was clearly the star of the show. Some apparently found ML a bit off-putting for being too eager to stay by FL's side but personally I only saw a man that knew what he wanted & made everything to make it work.
Anyway, you don't need to be this worked up for my poor taste in men. :P
And please, stop lifting your glasses so sexily... I make me even more weak. Y_Y
Hope it will be one of those character that redeem themselves in the end. I don't want him to become like his father.

A solid 9/10 for me!
