Well, I cannot say I fully enjoyed it. The first part was fun but then they completely change the genre for a subpar palace intrigue without a inch of what making this drama interesting: Light & Funny.

Not a fan of the FL either. She was really clueless & gullible most of the time. I found Eun Ae & Hwa Seon were more interesting in the end.

Loved both season. Especially the relationship between characters & all of their backstories. They even managed to make me feel pity for Liu Chang & the Princess.

But the high note is the relationship between ML & FL. They are so natural with each others like a bestfriend or a soulmate could be.

Oh boy. I broken my leg when I was young and nobody shed a tear... This guy get a few stitch on his head and it's Judgment Day. Am I the only one thinking everyone overacted over this matter ? I didn't expect less of his mother, she can have PTSD after what happen to her other son but FL crying pitifully in the hallway like he was dying, the classmate saying "Will he throw away his life ?" and all of them seemed to grief their lost comrade in the classroom. Even everyone at the school watched the show outside like it was a Real TV drama. :D

Especially when it was all on him. Why did he run with her on his shoulders in the middle of the street ? A dog isn't some monster that will eat you alive. He didn't get hit by the scooter because he was "protecting" her, he was because he was silly. He just made everyone at risk and if anything, FL could have been the one really badly hurt and even the guy on the scooter. He really have the main character halo but it's just stupid at this point how everyone seems to favor him and dump everything on the FL when something happen - just because he is good at math. :P

Tbh, I wasn't that eager to see this one as the MC wasn't exactly appealing to me. But seeing him in action, it just work. He is just naturally cute and it isn't "too much" or over-the-top like I've seen younger actors playing such role. Honestly, I just want to protect him and so far the younger ML is perfect at doing just that.

I don't understand that mentality personally. I liked show that had trash rating and disliked others that had really great one. It's fine that you don't seem to enjoy this one but the whole ranting basically saying "Look, others don't enjoy it so I'm right to also disliking it!" doesn't look good.

Like, why do you care so much ? Even if the show had top tier rating, you can still have your own opinion and be disappointed by it regardless. You can voice why and others will also voice their own opinion. If it irk you in the wrong way, just ignore them.

I love how both leads can act romantic scenes or flirt during an autopsy or around dead bodies. It make the drama quite funny in a unique way. :P

In contrast, I really dislike the naivety of both lead when they speak about justice. It make them like they never see the outside world before. Like the scene when the FL had a mental breakdown when they discovered all those corpse in the well and ML promise that he will seek justice for them. It was so... awkward ? Over-the-top ? Almost like bad acting villains that want to appear righteous. Or a scene that directly come from a Disney movie.

Yeah, crazy mom are really common in BL for some reason. More than homophobic dad who I expected to be rampant. Well, most BL avoid using homophobia nowadays.

It's either he truly have a partner or it's a white lie saying "I'm not interested". You can have a hard time moving on but saying the one being confessed need to be "understanding" is the biggest joke.

It's still odd. I've never seen a drama being postponed because of this reason. If the subtitles/dubbing were absolute trash I could understand but so far it wasn't the case. It sound more like damage control than the truth.

Don't get me wrong, I hope they don't have a more serious issue but I will not hold my breath until we have a official reschedule.

Well, their popularity soared greatly with this drama. If it would be a straight drama, they would definitely appear on multiple Chinese media platform & even offer casting proposal. But none of that happened because the Chinese government doesn't like LGBT content to be promoted. So for now, they avoid them.

It's a soft ban now because their government didn't seems to be involved yet - like they did in the past - BUT Chinese media & producer probably wont contact them until the broadcast is finish at least - to avoid the controversy.

C-BL have a long history of being cancelled/censored when they became too popular. To the point that they completely banned them. But recently, they are produced again with a loophole (relocating the production & broadcasting them outside the mainland). So right now, you witness C-BL fan PTSD. :P

ABO Desire is another C-BL currently being broadcasted and his content is even more controversial than Revenged Love. Personally, I'm also worried. It seems that it was a false alarm this time (I hope) BUT tbh, if the Chinese Government is adamant to shutdown this type of content, they can still pressure the actors/writers or any Chinese citizen involved in those to make the whole thing stop.

Omegaverse stuff where Omega can be pregnant regardless of gender.

Well we will see how it turn out but tbh, the whole relocation of the production to bypass the Chiness Censorship is a loophole to begin with. For all peoples it's labeled as a Chiness BL and IF the Chiness Gouv. is adamant to ban this, it will happen one way or another. I hope not, but for now I will wait until their are fully released to start them. Especially ABO Desire who have many controversial subjects like Male pregnancy (if they decide to include it).

I read the webtoon a long time ago so it's quite fuzzy but as far as I remember, ML is really bothered by her being a man. Close to homophobia. So no, it's a straight romance filled with fan service for BL enjoyer. Do not expect this to be a BL, it will just disappoint you.

You could call it queerbaiting but I don't think it's the way to view this as it's clearly defined that ML isn't into men & never will. And FL even if she is temporary a man, is still a woman.

Strong start, weaker ending. The whole part with the fight against the 1st crown prince: 9.5. Wujin's plot line: 8.5. Final Evil Empress plotline: 7. The whole poison plotline in the end was so annoying & unnecessary. I would loved to see the aftermath with both Princes ascending to their Thrones but instead we got the usual ML that literally need to die for the FL for no reason. It's too artificial for me. Well, all the scene between ML & FL seemed artificial in the end like they really wanted to show us "Look, he REALLY loves her!" but it really lacked sincerity & emotion in those scene for them to feel real.

Anyway, I still recommend it as the first is that good. And while the later part are weaker it's still decent & entertaining.

Not really. 100% of AB died. 80+% of A & O died. The survivors then became Alpha (A Group) & Omega (O Group). Only 0.5% of B died and became Beta. It's easy to remember as the letter of their Blood Type is in their new found sexual identity.

As for the top-bottom thing, in a vaste majority of Omegaverse, the Omega is the bottom & the Alpha is the top mainly because it's vastly influenced by straight relationship as the Omega can become pregnant with an Alpha. But yes, it's not an absolute rule as writers can still interpret it whatever they want in their own universe.

Well, OG Screenwriter was kind of cute. But it's true that this Uncle Screenwriter doesn't have much charisma. :P

He know that Suo Wei is plotting against his girl friend to break them up BUT he thinks he is doing that because he love him & want to date him. Not for some revenge plot against his former girl friend.
