Well, it's a fiction & a fantasy. Not that everyone need to like it but some do. I'm more neutral about it, It doesn't bother me in a fiction but it's definitely not my thing either.

For the "Fifty shades of gray" analogy, it's just a bad example. It's reality. I know for some ultra romantic looks, wealth and social status shouldn't matter... But it actually does. And I'm not saying you should love anyone that have the three of them - others thing does matter. But in a fantasy ? Can you really say that when you fantasize, they are ugly, poor and lives in a trailer ? If yes, you are really the odd one here.

It's really that simple.

I'm pretty sure she didn't need to die in front of him two time. The "In front of him" is also so unnecessary and trauma inducing. Just tell they are dead if you really what to. Or like, she could have ghost him or tell a lie like "She/He went abroad." He will have move on at some point if they just disappear without a trace.

And the fact that her friend & sister are also fine with it & even tell thing like "He will move on easily as he just liked her face to begin with" is so mess up. It's a fiction and peoples know it but damn, it's just so freaking weird to build a character like that in a comedy. It's really dark humor that isn't that much funny to begin with (if it was their goal).

Yes and like all mental issue in Drama it's resolved "by the power of love". <3

I don't really like the message behind it as mental issue is a serious matter for some. But it's entertaining for sure.

Oh... Will Tang Qi have his revenge arc ? Throwing the dart at Quan Shengtang picture did seems personal. :D

At this point, throw away the romance tag and switch to Thriller instead. It would be fun to watch. Am I the only one ? :P

If Tang Qi was an actual & real human being he would need a LOT of therapy. He faced two griefs (Su Miao & Alternate Personality of Fang Jin) and now he again witnesses a person dying in front of him. And it isn't the worse yet as some day he will learn that it was the FL's doing all along - and probably when he will be in love with her just for good measure.

I really want to know how they will turn around to make all of this acceptable and them being a couple in the end of this drama. Maybe Amnesia ? :P

The issue with younger actors is that their experience could be lacking. As for Hwang Min Hyun, he have such a baby face that if I saw as a random stranger on the street, I wouldn't think "Oh, It's a 30y dude". Early 20 if he style himself like a youngster.

For the cursing, I'm also with you. It's always the same "sshibal", "mitchin-nom", "sékki/gésékki" on repeat every encounter. Especially on a binge watch. ^^'

Yeah, but... What is the link between the poster and the synopsis ? Is there a hidden royalties plot line or something ? Or maybe... it's based on FL's comic/webtoon ? :O

It just seems quite out of place to be honest. xD

The fact she is on guard against him BUT still allow a predator to stay with her step-daughter & young boy is just... sickening. And where is her new husband ? He is probably kept in the dark for all we know. Imagine your partner doing that when your daughter is here ? She just betray every of her loved one. No. No redemption arc would make me swallow the happy ending pill for her. She deserve a sad ending, it's final in my mind.

A school ruled by the law of the strongest where nothing seems to be able to stop it, fight & physical abuse is a daily outcome - dying isn't out of the picture - , even to the point to "conquer" others schools without retribution ? And the purpose of this school ? Train high school students to enter a Gang and having minors serving as scapegoat for murder charges. In that bubble, it's a dystopia.

Hmm... Misfeeling about this one. I think my expectation was the reason behind it. I was craving a comedy and while, this do have some comedy in it, it was overall way too dark for me to fully enjoy it. It was close to a dystopia.

I don't deny the quality but it was just not for me I think.

I also don't like when they push too much "queer" content into adaptation of novels (or any others support) that don't have any to begin with just because it have become somewhat mainstream but this is also wrong to do this sort of adaptation in my opinion.

Straightwashing just isn't the answer & quite disrespectful to the peoples who enjoyed the OG work. It's not like they don't have any others novel to be adapted - one who don't have any queer content - as they are the vast majority. But no, they picked this one and make it somewhat straight (Slight Bromance). :P

I like how every time the grandma open her mouth is to talk shit of her only grandson and to hurt him even more. In my country, we call it Child Abuse & you can actually do jail time for that (or at least lost the custody of the child). I really HOPE they will not pull a redemption arc for her in the last minutes without any build up beforehand. And even then, it would be a hard pill to swallow.

Well, she wasn't ready for a relationship from the beginning. The fact that she has second though is because of his "work" on her. It's like he keep asking someone with a broken foot to walk on their feet.

To be clear, I'm not blaming the ML for doing something wrong but FL is right to not rush thing.

Because he is a rich customer that can make them money ? :D

From what I understood, all the employee did gossip about this past relationship and probably some customers also heard them. Making the whole thing "unprofessional" from the hotel PoV. TBH, it's like a petty revenge from the hotel management as they could lose this customer because of this.

Not really ? If anything, the ML is too much pushy some time. Like, give her time like you said you would do, dude. :P

And with the ex back, she will not be ready to get lovey dovey anytime soon.

Well, the ML is really a huge simp over his childhood crush. He dedicated almost his whole life to her:

- His job.
- He didn't seem to have any prior romantic relationship.
- She was always on his mind this whole time.
- He is very defensive when it comes to her.

But I like how they just made the Bank sub-plot to make it seems that: "No! It's not just her, he is selfless with everyone!" Like, they acknowledged it's not a normal behavior so they added some extra to make sure we understand that he also have a pattern. :P

The grand princess is the sister of the current emperor (I think by blood as she wield some power), so her daughter is his cousin. And with royalties, it's kind of a grey area. :P

I agree with you. The pacing is really weird. It's like I'm watching with a x2 speed without noticing it. Him falling in love for her was... strange. Because at first she was a spy and the next thing, he was already in love.

But I still like it despise that as the story itself is quite interesting.

What do you mean ? You said too much and too little in the same time! :P

Soooo... Will we have some bromance with Quan Shengtang ? :O

Because so far, he loved everyone of them.
