i don't know why everyone's jumping you. Ppl need to chill. I'm enjoying it but I think the editor, director,…
And who are you to be the judge of that ? If both are fine with that, it isn't selfish anymore (and from what I heard compromise could be made from both end). If it become a problem, they split up, simple as that. It's sad, some could view it as a "waste" but they needed to try to know. Like... Every relationship.
It's their own freaking life so I don't get why you still persist to say Ace should only date Ace. It doesn't affect you for from what I understand so I don't get why you are so eager to make a point on that matter.
Except the hissing that made me cringe every time they do that, I like it so far. I hope it doesn't became too messy. But to be honest I don't really have high expectation about this one, being enjoyable is all I will ask. ^^
So Poom bit Patrick.I don't think Patrick will become a vampire though, because Poom only wanted to drink blood…
I don't think biting random human transform them into vampire. From what I understood the human in question need to be in love with the vampire & the vampire need to bite him to death. The "curse" then is transferred to the human making him a vampire. Also, the vampire become human.
i don't know why everyone's jumping you. Ppl need to chill. I'm enjoying it but I think the editor, director,…
You are really an odd one. :x
All that rant because they didn't kiss ? And it's even homophobic in your opinion ? I will not expend further because some already explain why it happened.
I'm not ace and you are not based on your comment. I have very few experience with ace peoples so unlike you I will not say that I know it all but just saying the little I do know is ace also have crush/fall in love with non ace people (& vice versa). Sometime it work and sometime it doesn't. So I don't get your point that ace should only date ace peoples.
And for the preaching. You didn't watched & reacted like you did. If you did, you will know that they added that scene after the episode like a "bonus scene" or an advertisement to promote safe sex. If you are fully aware, good for you and skip it. Some aren't and it's not because they are "stupid" like you seem to suggest.
Ok .i watched the first episode, I liked it. But couple of my friends gave me mixed reviews 😕. I'm confused…
For me, I didn't expect much from it but so far it's the best current hiring BL. If you liked the first episode, the quality is the same and I would say even better. It's still sexy without being "vulgar", it's funny and the relationship slowly develop between the two MC without any useless drama so far.
I keep wondering if I watched the same series everyone else here did. I don't usually post negative comments but…
It's weird to say "this is not a criticism of the people/actors, it's the characters!" and then "The acting is just terrible, like they are reading lines for the first time. I don't see any chemistry at all!". :P
Anyway, it was the others way around for me. I liked Bu Xia but had a hard time with Jiang Chi. Sure thing he is a eye candy but that it. I still enjoyed it (not really the special tbh) because I'm VERY biased when it come to BL. This would be a regular straight romance I would have dropped very fast.
If he can take objects and disappear with them then maybe he can disappear with humans too, specially one he can…
From what we saw, it seems she will be saved by him pushing her by a window before everything crash. And he will probably return in the future badly wounded ? Regardless, K-Drama tend to have happy ending even when thing go REALLY sour. So I think he will survive somehow.
This is such a hopeless drama because think about it.. what it is saying is, things have happened...they are already…
I know it seems that he don't make his "own decisions" because all events in the past seems to be set in stone but it's based on his OWN decision he takes from the future. It's kind of headache to understand because it's true that those decisions are influenced by the past he know that his future self will make. It's like an infinite loop.
But it's not the same as being "fated to save her". Fated mean that he is destined since birth by some external power (Fate, Destiny, Gods, Curses, etc) and everything will lead him to make that decision or having that outcome regardless of his free will.
GJ parents, (some refer to as grandfather & grandmother), seem to have a horrible relationship. She is very mean…
Why would that make zero sense ? Duplicated persons & objects is really common in time travel stories. Sometime the time traveler take the place of his own self (like Lovely runner if you are currently watching it) but sometime they don't. And the later is more common from what I've watched/read.
After GJ when to comfort DH at her father’s funeral , shouldn’t she now recognize him in the present, as someone…
She was grieving + soon after she got her accident from the fire in school. We can see her memory is fussy around that time period. And ML don't seems to change the past with his time travel. It's already set in the time line we see. Like she is currently alive because future ML will save past FL. So, with the same logic, current FL already experienced his "visit" at her father's funeral, he just didn't leave any impact.
GJ parents, (some refer to as grandfather & grandmother), seem to have a horrible relationship. She is very mean…
-GJ's Parents: Kind of toxic. They love each others but growth apart when continuous problem happened to their family. I think Grandma was educated in a way that their power isn't something they can talk to outsider, as for why Grandpa is excluded.
-For the ring: The ring is in their safe all along. In future event, the ring will be hold by GJ. Then GJ will go to the past to save DH and give her his ring. At this point, two of the same exact same ring exist, one in the safe and the one DH old. And when, GJ goes to the past to give it to DH, only one ring (the one DH hold) will remain. Basically it's the same ring that did time travel like we can see "two" GJ at the same time even if only one exist.
This whole family is obsessed with having cordial relationship with scammer family even after knowing their truth🤣🤣.…
She have really low self esteem now. Even in the past when she was beautiful, we saw that she was very timid before getting in that model gig she got in by luck. So even if I do myself think it's a bit odd that she is trying to get him back I could "see" why they showing us that. Also it's probably used to make an heavy contrast: With that move she is at her lowest and she will become a girl boss at the end. To be honest, I think her ability to fly isn't tie down by her weight but by her confidence.
If he doesn't go, she doesn't get saved. Now he CAN change the past and change the future in turn, he can't miss…
Technically, he cannot change the past because every change he has made are already here in the past and present. Meaning it's "set in stone" that he will save her from a distant future.
Because so far, nothing have changed from the time line we saw. The present (& past) have already the event he made from the future. It's not the usual time travel where he can change thing and comeback to an "alternative" time line. He always comeback to his current timeline meaning that the current timeline have already have the change he made from the future.
Do you get what I mean ? It's confusing to explain but this story have a twist in time travel that I do find interesting. :o
Like many, I didn't really enjoy this week episode. :O
J-Drama always have the same flaw for me: They always end when they are finally together but we rarely see when they are actually in a relationship. Sometime they get around with some "trial" or a "casual or fake relationship". It's like being an official couple is the actual end goal. And that's it.
So yeah, most of the time their ending frustrate me. And it seems that this Drama follow that pattern without even trying to get around it. :(
Purely a Slice of life. We follow a bunch of people living their best life focusing on the romance between ML & FL, the dubbing industry & Chinese traditional music. Food is also major in this Drama.
I loved the OST. For a Music Drama, it's a requirement but it was beyond here. Some songs did bring me tears. Also, the part when they do their Festivals or Anniversary is really well made.
Like some pointed out, two thing can make you drop this:
-Everyone is "too" perfect especially the main leads. Everyone is talented, have kind souls and are happy all the time. ML is a doctor who can cook/dub/sing traditional music/sound technician/play guitar/have drawing skill/do archery/throw a punch when necessary. He also have all the virtue an human being could have. FL isn't as much. She is just a Singer/Compositor/can play multiple instrument/top student who have a soul coming directly from Heaven. So yeah, they are alien or human ascending godhood. :P
-The "story" is too positive. Nothing bring conflict between the different characters. Personally, I enjoyed it & was always smiling watching this but I could understand that some would find that boring pretty fast.
So yeah, if you love slice of life, I would recommend this Drama. If you want something more "spicy" I don't think it's for you but regardless, the first few episodes are the strongest moment. If they bore you already, you can safely drop it.
I didn't finish (dropped at episode 25). I'm quite new to Chinese dramas and while I like the early vibe, I have a hard time to actually finish them. I still really enjoyed them and it was also the case here.
Another god ML (Handsome, Smart, Skilled & Athletic). He had some flaws and I mostly liked him more because of that. He can be quite cute with his dorky & childish side.
FL is also almost perfect but have more flaws. She look more like an actual human being at least. Nothing much to say, she was good but not memorable.
I was really uncomfortable with the SML. He didn't do anything wrong and I probably watched too much Kdrama but he had the same vibe of really mess up love rival that do shady things to get what they want. It wasn't really the case here as he was more pitiful than anything else. I still didn't like him as a character.
The side couple. I liked the goofy guy. He was "bullied" almost everytime (By his love interest but also by ML & FL) and it annoyed me at some point. As I dropped at ep. 25 I don't have the closure of this side story (with the ex-boyfriend) but seeing how they portrayed his love interest as a REALLY depressed woman, I believed at first her past lover tragically died. It wasn't the case and all I know is that he is some sort of jerk she couldn't move on and she destroyed her own life because of that. Personally, not knowing the real reason of her behavior made really hard to empathize with her. So all of her scene were a bit of a chore to watch especially in later episode because it was everytime the same "I'm sad, leave me alone". She hadn't any character growth in 25 episodes. Too slow to keep me interested.
For the side character, I loved the ML's groups of friends. I really have a thing for goofy guys. :P Annoyed by the assistant of FL. She cannot read the room even if someone life would depend on it. But I loved her manager. Her cool & motherly vibe was soothing. Grandpa & Grandma were lovely and the dog was handsome. :D
The story itself wasn't nothing noteworthy but it worked well nonetheless. I don't know if it's common to have those "game" sideplot in Chinese Dramas but it's still fresh for me so I enjoyed it (I only seen it in "You are my Glory").
As for the why I dropped it: Like I said, nothing make the story stand out. It's very predictable near the end. I wouldn't say it's "boring" but yes, I did yawn a few time. And when I feel like that I prefer stop before it get too annoying instead of forcing myself and be disappointed (even if I could be wrong). Because let's be honest, after a "last struggle" (the most annoying part for me in ANY drama) they will be happy & together. And I predict here that the second couple will probably have an open ending.
