Not a BL thing. The number of Drama/Manhwa/Manga where if MLs had a crush on their FL when they were (very) young, they will NEVER look for another woman even it take year to be reunited with her. Like the scene where a guy in their 30s had their "first" kiss stolen by the random encounter with FL isn't uncommon. And it also works the others way around (FL to their ML). It's just a consequence of "It's the only/fated one" that cursed many MC before them. :P

They probably wanted to make Fueang appear like the nicest guy/greenest forest on earth by not assuming what was the preference of Krom after their first experience. And perhaps bringing the topic of versatility ? But didn't want to go that far and confuse many viewer (they do love the top/bottom dynamic from what I've seen) ? :P It was a bit clumsy in the execution but I could see what they wanted to convey so to speak.

I'm just imagine myself being a citizen and seeing all those drama in the media and saying to myself "What the fuck is going on ?". It's so drama-like even for a Drama. Little bro' stealing wife of Gay Big Bro' and soon after I'm pretty sure we will have headline about the Grampa implied in the Death of his Daughter (or her Husband ? But I don't know why Grampa would protect him).

No no no. She said she likes him and what did he do ? "I will try to do it". He did give her hope. He even didn't refute when she said that he keeping her "on the hook". So no, if she was really just a friend he would have said a clear no. I don't say he is a monster, he is just really confused and everything is a mess but don't portrait her yet as the bad girl when it's clearly in reverse.

And yeah, I also predict she will do something stupid because she truly believe that what he is doing is REALLY wrong. It could ruin him socially and his relationship with his brother.

Well, agree to disagree ? But I don't know how you could tell monotonous dialogue & lack of emotion when she almost became hysterical but you are entitled to your opinion I guess.

Yeah no, it isn't going to happen. All his talk about being a good husband and trying to protect her are purely platonic. He said that because their wedding started out of a contract but he really want for them to be at least happy during that period and have a good relationship and not just a contractual one.

Well, the SML doesn't want the FL in the first place. :P They made a deal and he isn't aware of the mess between ML& FL. Well, I will accord you that he doesn't really search what going on and prefer stay out of it. But it appear it will blow up in the next episode so they will finally talk I hope.

Well, her crying scene were really good for me. I'm not sold with her romantic scene yet. ML doesn't help in that regard.

Don't get me wrong but she like ML. ML is toying with her feeling because he feel guilty about his own feeling about FL. In the eyes of SFL, he is indeed into his Sister-in-Law. So yeah, It seems completely understandable that she try to resonate ML. I don't see why you saw her as a simple "jealous bitch" (it's freaking harsh) when she even didn't do anything to both of them in the first place.

I agree on the kissing scene that it was a bit... lacking ? But the emotional scene just before when she cry with a distorted face showing all her despair, she nailed it. Like with the similar scene when she lashed on ML when she discovered how she did get her job. Overall, she is really good.

I really don't think it's taboo between them to ask such question. And sure thing it isn't a sexy question more of a practical one. What is really rude is for others person to ask such thing. It's like questioning your friend "Do you do it missionary or doggy style ?" :P Nobody ask such thing except maybe on very VERY specific situation. And even then, it can be offensive.

But yeah I agree with you, most of BL scene are girls fantasy have on gay men and not really an actual representation of real life. But I would add that straight romance in Dramas are exactly the same. Pure fantasy.

A necessary development and It was bond to happen even without the "spoiler" from episode 1.

Or ZY will try to move on with another guy and that will trigger even more Q for accepting his feeling. Or developing them because with what we saw Q doesn't seems to have any romantic feeling for anyone so far. Probably because he is so busy and his trauma. I will be a hard road and I just hope it will not appear out of the blue.

For the 'top/bottom' you will be surprised. When they use app, no problem here because most of the time it's in their profile. When it's in the wild, it's like a mundane talk they have when they flirt each other. Because yes, it can cause obvious issue from what I heard if that talk didn't happen before hand and can lead to some embarrassing stories (but so fun when you are just a side witness :P )

But I wouldn't go as far to say that it's common to all gay men because my circle isn't that big either. But yeah, the story between two "top" being VERY awkward after discovering in bed they aren't compatible, I heard it more than once. And some actually just leave it at that (and some did "other" stuff).

Don't get it wrong because it's a genuine question. I've seen it multiple time here but why all the "..." between sentence ? It's like you are commenting out of breath. Again, it isn't critique but I've seen a lot of people commenting this way and I'm asking myself where did this come from. ^^

Great show. What I liked was:

- The couple is formed rather quickly (but not too fast) and except for one hick-up in the beginning of their relationship they were always here for each others and communicate like real person. So no dumb misunderstanding that drag forever for adding useless drama for example.

- Loved the childish personality of the ML & FL. They both have their flaw without being exaggerated. They have growth. Overall, nice writing for both of them. I still preferred the ML because I was sensible to his gap in his personality when he try to act very cool but he is so childish & petty. :P

- They didn't use the curse that every romance drama used in the last two episodes where they need to break up with whatever reason (sometime really random) for them to finally have their happy ending in the last 30 minutes.

- The second couple is really cute. The family of the FL were lovely. The nurse were funny. Overall the side cast is really strong.

-The "antagonist" isn't a mindless sociopath. He had a proper & deep story. We can understand (even if we still disagree) why he acted this way.

Maybe something really minor near the end of the drama but don't expect much if I would take a guess.

Finished it. And I didn't really expect it but the finale episode was really, really good. I shed a tear with the Karan's Parents scene and another one when Ashi singed for Karan. And it's been a long time since then that I'm still emotional about it.

So obviously this review will not be one bit objective. I loved Karan as a character from start to finish. His goofiness, his dedication, his understanding. God, it's also been so long since I saw a couple actually trying to communicate. I will be honest and said Ashi was harder to love. A little too quiet & shy, maybe ? But in the very late episodes, he did convince me. They were so lovely in their final scenes.

For the side couple, I wasn't into Jinta & Min. Jinta was a bit too over the top and cringe to my personal taste. And their overall acting seemed a bit more clumsy if I would say ? It wasn't bad but it didn't work for me even I wouldn't go as far to say they ruined the show. Like I said, it's just wasn't my taste. But I really loved Rock & Pai both as supportive characters & their couple.

It was a solid 8/10 for me at first but the final episode made me want to give them a 9/10. Great show!

Yeah not for me either. Dropped after the end of episode 7. A lot of useless drama. I really didn't like Soga as a character. And the whole I feel in love because he likes the food I made was rather weak especially if they don't really add more to it after that. But it was still somewhat cute.

Then the ex arrive for no reason except bringing some drama that we SAW so many time before. And when it finally happen, they got together for 1s, they throw a massive "I want to break up" as a teaser (and not as a spoiler for the next episode if you are wondering). Like I know it will surely happen at the end of episode 8 (or 9) like every romance dramas out there (I don't know why but they love doing that even if I think most of us are sick of it) but why teasing that as soon as they finally got together ?

I was barely hanging in there ready to have my fluff and they had to kill the mood. :P I'm pretty sure episode 8 (and maybe early 9) were all about that but that was just a deal breaker for me here...

6/10 but I didn't actually rated because I don't do that if I don't finish a drama.

I also dropped this. It's hard for me to get interested in cooking themed show and this one didn't change my mind. For example, I liked the pastry theme from "Until we meet again" but it really didn't click in this one for sure.

And the romance didn't keep me. It wasn't bad but not really good ? Just basic if I would say. Cliché, a bit overacted but sweet. So yeah, it's a miss for me but it isn't a bad show just probably not for me or it wasn't the right timing, I don't know.
